This was my favorite meal at the Hammock Beach Resort! I started with the she crab soup which is the best I've eaten since Savannah! For dinner, I ordered the seafood Florentine which consists of scallops, shrimp, fresh spinach, fettuccine, and garlic parmesan sauce. The scallops in my pasta were seared to perfection and the amount of seafood was on point. I was happy I opted to order the sauce on the side because it likely would've been more than I desired and it is very rich. Bread service consisted of rolls and butter but was good. We were a fairly large group and dined on the patio so we had a great view of the golf course and ocean. Our server was very friendly and did a great job taking care of us. This is an exciting find with oceanfront dining in Palm Coast. The view is wonderful, tucked in the Hammock Dunes area, and is open to the public. Watch out for all the golf carts zipping around. I enjoyed a late lunch in the more quiet environment. The crab soup starter was small and creamy-tasty. Entree of a Crab cake sandwich on toasted brioche, slivered fennel root, aïoli, with side of sweet potato fries. It was good and crab was plentiful. Pleasant young staff, our servicer suggested the crab. I found the crab cake gets over-shadowed by a bun. Friends had the Reuben & sangria and liked it too. Service could have been better. We got our shrimp and soup first before we even go the drinks. Had to ask another server to get our waitress because they he drinks were empty. Also when she was cut to go home she came by twice to see how we were and the third time she came by she asked if she could grab the receipt. View was amazing. My family had breakfast here a couple of days ago. The service was bad. We waited twenty minutes to get cream and sugar for our coffee and had to ask multiple times. I got the California Skillet. Much of it like the breakfast potatoes were clearly frozen. It was mediocre and that's being kind. For these prices they were charging you would expect better than Bob Evans quality and that's honestly being generous. The only reason I'm not giving this a one star is that the sausage and bacon were decent. I would avoid this place, at least for breakfast. read more

My first visit to the restaurant. It was date night and went with friends. (Always eat in good company!) The restaurant is a part of the Hammock Beach and Golf Resort and is open to the public. I highly recommend making a reservation for big parties and if you would like a table with a view. We walked in and had the option to either sit at the bar or go outside and stay behind the roped off area. The food, service, and drinks were good. We really come here for the view lately more than the food/service. View is great when you can sit outside in comfortable temps or along the large ocean facing windows. We couldn't decide which place on-site we wanted to go to for dinner so my daughter made reservations on Open Table at Atlantic Grille. I recommend making reservations to make sure they can accommodate you, especially if a large party. We were a bit early and thought we'd have to wait but they went out of their way to make room for us. The service the entire night by everyone was over the top! We started with 3 appetizers which were all A-mazing! Bang Bang Shrimp, Conch Fritters and Green Chickpea Hummus. Dinner was equally great and was pricey. We made a reservation at the AG for breakfast. Well it didn't really matter because we waited in line for a table any way. The wait wasn't long and we were able to eat on the terrace over looking the ocean. Beautiful location. Our waiter was terrific. Nice and friendly man that was attentive and cheerful. The food was great. Eggs Benedict and an egg white omelet were cooked perfectly. An again the views are fantastic. It is dog friendly on the terrace, although we didn't bring our furry friend. Went there for Mother's Day Bunch. My wife and I have previously had very good breakfasts and lunches there. The brunch menu was extremely limited and the food was marginal at best. Our waiter was extremely slow. We had to ask several times for water, never received a refill. My wife ordered a bloody Mary, for the price. It was very disappointing with a wedge of lemon and two olives. When it came to dessert, we said we would have three of them at the table and take the fourth one home. We also ordered 2 cups of coffee. Well, all four desserts came in a box to take home and the coffee was cold. We asked for sugar for the coffee and our waiter said he would get it, he disappeared and we asked another waitress if she could get us sugar. We asked for the check and waited an additional 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes before he came back to take our credit card. At $60 a plate you have a certain expectation. Your eggs shouldn't be hard boiled, your coffee should be hot, there should be sugar on the table and you shouldn't have to wait more than 30 minutes to settle the bill. As far as the atmosphere and ambience, the place is hard to beat. Overall, for the price and poor Service, we should've gone to the funky pelican. read more

We ordered 3 Kansas City steaks 2 medium 1 medium rare with only broccolini as well as a filet and blackened ceaser salad. When I arrived to get the order there was no salmon ceaser salad. So I had to wait by the time the salad was ready the steaks where then cold getting them back home. Then we realized that all the steaks had been cooked to medium well and no broccolini as requested. In addition in no way shape or form can I justify paying $300 for all that food because had someone told me they just went to longhorn or outback to get steaks I would have believed them. Also notable was the Hammock salad... with grapes, goat cheese and sunflower seeds on top of a bed of mixed greens and a vinaigrette that I can probably still taste if I think about it. Jumbo scallops were delicious... perfectly juicy and well seared outside served with asparagus and a light cream sauce. The local fish was again... perfectly cooked. Crispy skin and juicy meat. That came with a creamy corn side and was very flavourful. Fresh tuna seared and had like an Asian sauce that made it taste even fresher. Wine list isn't big but had great choices at very good prices. This restaurant deserves much better reviews. The food is very good and service was excellent. I recently was staying at The Hammock Beach Resort and made a reservation to eat here one of the nights. I made a reservation weeks in advance and was told that it can fill up quickly. First off, the location is amazing! It's located right by the beach with every table haven't a stunning view of the ocean. It's a very nice restaurant and ambiance. There is a bar side and a dining room side. I would say the dress is nice casual, if that makes any sense. During the day I would feel comfortable being more casual than in the evening. My friend and I came for dinner and loved what we ordered. Our waitress recommended the Ahi Tuna Salad and I am so glad we listened to her. It had great flavor with the perfect amount of kick. Also, the chimchirri bread rolls was very unique and delicious. Since it was our first time the rolls were on the house. We enjoyed yummy blueberry mojitos that were so refreshing. For my entree I ordered the salmon (satueed) with the lemon burre blanc sauce with mashed potatoes and maple bacon brussel sprouts. Lastly we enjoyed their key lime pie- yum! I stayed at Hammock Beach Resort for a relaxing early Galentine's weekend with my best friends. We stopped in Atlantic Grille for a small bite to eat after a long day of snacking. I ordered the Caesar salad, but also sampled my friends' sticky ribs and Atlantic Grille salad with salmon. All the food was delicious. Our server, Stephanie, provided great customer service. We also celebrated my friend's birthday, and Stephanie did an amazing job by bringing out a surprise slice of cake with a candle. This was my first time at this establishment, and I am highly disappointed for the service that I received. Being that this was my first time here, I wasn't familiar with the menu, and I was actually going in thinking that breakfast was still being served. So, not familiar with the lunch menu, and my partner having a shellfish allergy, it took us some time. The waiter checked on us but never asked us questions or recommended things to us. The last time he checked on us, he was bringing the silverware and made a rude comment and proceeded to slam the silverware down on the table. I was appalled and immediately left.
