6 jumbo wings- salt and pepper
    Che C.

Outlaw Chicken is located inside of the Sawmill Market. If you're entering from the front of the building and walk straight up as soon as you make your first left, you'll be able to spot it. I was there on a Sunday night and they only had two staff working. A young lady that was the cashier in the front and a gentleman that was the cook in the back. I wish the cashier was a little bit more engaging. As a first time customer I would've appreciated it if she asked if it was my first time and educated me a little bit on the menu. Clearly that wasn't a dealbreaker because I still ordered but just in case the owner is reading this that might help increase sales. Nonetheless, I ordered the six jumbo wings with salt and pepper. It comes with a side of sauce, but since it was my first time there, I decided to give all three a try. So that was the house made bbq, bang bang sauce and roasted garlic ranch. Six jumbo wings are $12 and my bill was $19 and change. That means she charged me upwards of $3 each for the extra sauces which came in the 2oz condiment cups. Yikes. I was handed a pager and told it would be about 15 mins. I asked for the food to go. After 15 minutes I was paged. The food was packaged well and she included napkins and utensils . The wings were perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper, and they were nice and hot. I love that. there was an even amount of flats and drums. I found the bang bang sauce to be more on the spicy side so I didn't enjoy it as much. Surprisingly, the house made barbecue was my favorite and to think I was apprehensive at first to order it. The roasted garlic ranch was pretty tasty too. I would definitely return.

1/4 chicken quarter, broccolini and fries

Food was a 10/10! Ordered the 1/4 chicken quarter with broccolini and fries for $16 (not including tax). The chicken rub was fantastic! Had a bit of spice and sweet. More than enough for 2 people, ended up taking half of it home. Highly recommend!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The rustic charm of the decor, combined with the lively buzz of happy diners, made it feel like a home away from home. I started with the Shrimp and Grits, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy, seasoned to perfection with a subtle kick that danced on my taste buds. The grits were creamy and rich, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more. Next up was the Fried Chicken and Waffle Jr. Plate, a true masterpiece. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned with a secret blend of spices that elevated it to new heights. The waffle was fluffy and golden, a perfect vessel for soaking up every drop of syrup. While I do wish they used Vermont maple syrup grade A, it was by no means a flaw, it only added to the charm of the dish. The Sweet Tea was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It was refreshingly sweet, with a hint of lemon that brightened each sip and left a lingering taste of summer. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every need was met with a smile. Their genuine hospitality added to the overall experience, making me feel like a valued guest. Frank's Chicken and Waffle is a culinary gem in Albuquerque, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that will delight your senses and warm your soul.

One is the darker bar area but we were seated in a room full of full length windows that opened. I had a flight of their beers and enjoyed them all. For lunch I had their red chile bbq pork sandwich while my wife had the enchiladas. The food is a mix of Southern soul food and New Mexican standards. My wife actually preferred her food here over the well regarded New Mexican restaurant we went the previous day. I really liked my sandwich with its kiss of heat.

Only the other one in the South Valley (where we never go) has them. The tv commercials didn't say that. I did let the servers know this bc I felt it was false advertising. We got a Flight of 4 different beers and "settled" on a fried fish w salad which was ok and their grilled catfish tacos which you had to eat w a fork bc they were too messy to pick up w your fingers.. They tasted ok but the salsa and a pink sauce (?) helped to give them more flavor. The atmosphere was ok and the Friday evening crowd was arriving. We ate inside and our server, Sophia, was very good. It didn't take long to get our dinners except my partner's salad took forever! The salads are included w the meals. My salad was different and good which was a Blackeye pea, corn, & more ingredients. My experience there was disappointing since I wanted ribs and not "soggy" fish tacos. I might go back for the beer only.

And I don't know what other parking lot there is other than the one that is located Thankfully, I was able to find parking at the time that I visited.  This shop is located inside of the food court. I read over the menu and wanted to try some of the chicken wings, but they do offer much more than that. Which is something to look forward to when I come back! I asked the cashier what is your best seller flavor of chicken wings, he suggested the Ginger Soy. I was interested in this flavor combo because it sounded like something I'd love. Because I do love ginger. Well, let me tell you... this Ginger Soy Chicken Wings was SO BOMB!!! Wow, the depth of flavor and the wings were so crispy. It is making my mouth water just talking about it. Ha! Wish I had some of those wings again. Maybe next time I visit, I'll try "Aden's Truth", because knowing that the wings were delicious, I'm sure that the entree would be delicious as well. I received good customer service, which is hard to come by these days. Especially during this pandemic! They bring the food out to you on the patio. This place is fabulous and definitely a must try kind of place! I appreciate that there is a place like this to go to and visit especially during these hard times. Thank you! I'll be back.
