Well, I would like to tell you how the food was. But we never got to eat. We went in and waited and waited and waited... No one ever came to seat us or ask what we needed. There were only three tables occupied. We left without ever being waited on at all after 15 minutes. read more

Ordered lasagna. Lasagna had good flavor, I just needed a larger portion. If the portion was bigger would have gotten 5 stars. Plan on returning and try other options. Service was 5 star as we had a group of 12 and had no issues. read more

Good food and service!! Their food can be kind of pricey, but it's always good! They have quite a variety. My favorite is their green Chile chicken!! They also have good salads, and for dessert you have to try their Oreo cream pie!! read more

I was hoping this place would be great based off the reviews. The service was horrible and everything took forever. We ordered a bottle a wine, after 30 minutes of searching for wine glasses and a bottle opener we told the server forget about it. They didn't have 4 wine glasses to accommodate. This establishment came highly recommended for the great food, friendly and prompt service. We went there today with the expectation of enjoying a great meal. We were promptly seated by a friendly young man. He took our drink order and we never saw him again. We did see him delivering drinks to others, some of these came in after us, but he never came back to our table. We waited and waited (at the time we were there they were busy but not crowded) but no one brought us our drink or took our order. Needless to say we left. read more

A great find!! Passing through town and found this little gem of a restaurant tucked into the back of a small shop area. We've been through Hobbs so many times in the past and never knew this was here- it's definitely the best food we've had in Hobbs or anywhere else for that matter! Super clean and the waitstaff is amazing - excellent service. We both had the green chili chicken - it was delicious! Spicy, but so tasty you can't stop eating- exactly what we look for in spicy food. We will eat here every time we come through town, from now on! read more

Good food, but not always consistent. I love there tea.... I get extra every time to take home. You don't find fresh homemade ice tea much anymore... it usually comes from machines these days. Service can be slow, but food makes up for it. Folks are always so nice and friendly. read more

Outlaw Grill is one of my most favorite places to eat. They have many spectacular entrees. The Green Chili Chicken crispy is my favorite. Crispy chicken served on a bed of mash potatoes with their green chili cheese sauce over it with tortilla strips and tasted bacon. You can't go wrong. Also their Ultimate Mac n Cheese and I always add crispy chicken and green chilies. It is a must. Defiantly enough to eat plus and take home box for the next day. So so good. I thought the ribeye was pretty good cooked perfectly and very tender. The waitress was great , the fried pickles were good with the ranch. My son had the grilled shark it was awesome. We received our food pretty fast. read more

After eating here numerous times I can say this place is so spot on! I've already posted a review but I'm really impressed. The servers all did a good job each time. I will keep coming back and support what they stand for during these strange times we are in. These were eaten of the course of couple weeks lol. My daughters and I ate here yesterday. We ordered the hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, and shrimp Alfredo fettuccini. The hamburger steak with mushroom gravy and mash with homestyle green beans were very good. Their green beans are done the way I love them; southern style with bacon. The chicken fried steak was some of the best I've had for three reasons; it was coated in Panko bread crumbs so it was super crispy, it was tender, and the cream gravy was made on site and NOT the mix out of a bag. Delicious! It was also served with mash and southern green beans. I usually couldn't care less about fettuccini Alfredo but I must say Outlaw Grill really does it extremely well; it is rich in cheese flavor and I couldn't help dipping my fork in my daughters plate for another sample. I almost never order pasta but think the Alfredo will be my choice next time we dine at Outlaw Grill. Very good food. And don't forget to go in the Kounty Korral; great little shop attached to the Grill filled with wonderful things. Good place to find gifts. Anita was very helpful with newcomers to Hobbs. read more

Best place in Hobbs. The green chili chicken enchilada pasta, Jesse James, and the farmer burger are my favorites. I will they would bring back the siracha salmon with butternut squash. This place reminds me of Texas. Bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños, steaks, seafood, and veggies. I started off with the rattlers (bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños). The rattlers were cooked just right. I was impressed. My main course was steak & shrimp with grilled asparagus. Steak was ok. It was seasoned ok, it was just the cut of meat was fatty and hard to cut through but it was tasty. Asparagus was huge and tasted good. Garlic Parmesan shrimp was very good! I would just get that next time. Overall, good meal, good service. read more

Open on New Years! After driving all day it was nice to find something other than Mexican or Fast Food for dinner. My daughter had Mac and Cheese and side of mashed potatoes. My wife had the Chicken Scallapini and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and the Rattlers. The Mac and Cheese was amazing! How do I know this? I tried it. AMAZING! The chicken fried steak was bland and lacked any kind of seasoning in the breading. It was also very thin. The potatoes were as expected. The rattlers (jalapeño poppers) were awesome!! I ordered the New York strip salad with homemade ranch, Mac & cheese with asparagus. The steak was thin, but very tasty. The salad with the homemade ranch dressing was delicious. Very good food! Service was also great. When we walked in all three waitresses greeted us and told us someone would seat us soon. When we were seated the waitress was friendly. Our food came out fast. I had the green chili chicken enchilada pasta and it was very good. My husband had one of their burgers and he said it was delicious. I have now been to the Outlaw Grill 4 times, and I can say with some degree of certainty that it is excellent. I have not been disappointed with anything I've tried. Tonight I had the NY Strip steak with garlic Parmesan shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and seemed to be a good quality. The shrimp was fantastic. My server did a great job of getting me what I needed without bugging me. I also had the chips and queso as an appetizer. I discovered on one of my previous visits that the queso was among the best I've had, and couldn't pass up on the opportunity to enjoy it again. I can't recommend this place more. read more

Strange location on the backside of a small shop. Reviews & pics on Yelp were appealing. However (cue the dramatic music), the only thing outlaw at this grill was the absence of flavor. Started with spinach & asparagus dip which had no flavor other than cheese, lots of asparagus, couldn't find the spinach. Hubby had shrimp Diablo which he said was meh. Firm pasta, tiny shrimps, and not enough sauce, blah. I had chicken marsala and there was a lot of it. A lot of bland, flavorless, chicken. Very few mushrooms, peppers, or onion. So if you're hungry in Hobbs and like bland food this is your place. You'll get full, but you won't love it. read more
