It's a safe area. Very quiet. I almost never hear my neighbors. Once my neighbor was playing loud music....Someone asked her to turn down the music and she did. That was the end of that. The office staff is terrific and the maintenance staff does a good job too. I've had to ask maintenance to come back on two or three occasions because they hadn't completed a job correctly. They've always come back immediately with a positive attitude and no complaints. The staff jumps on maintenance issues immediately, unlike almost every other apartment that I've lived in. They are passionate about making Sand Creek Woods a great place to live. Downsides: There isn't much storage space (closets/cabinets). The kitchen is small. The rent used to be a great deal, but the rent has gone up a ton the last three years (about 9% each year). I don't have any pretty neighbors. :) It's not a young complex, mostly middle-aged residents. Having said that, the positives far outweigh the negatives, I love living here. It's the best apartment that I've had!

We were charged an additional bill over 90 days after moving in that we were never clearly informed about, and management could not give us consistent answers when we asked questions. Maintenance has also been a major issue. Problems often go unresolved, and there has been a loud beeping box outside for an extended period of time. The property is expensive for the quality provided, in my opinion. I also received a citation for a vehicle with cosmetic damage even though it was insured, registered, and operational. Meanwhile, similar situations in the parking lot seemed to be handled inconsistently. Another issue is the large number of beetles around the property and inside apartments. Overall, communication and responsiveness have been frustrating, and I personally would not recommend living here.

The Manager asked if Jeremy Auberry a Maintenance Tech was available and he and I met at my brother's apartment. He entered first and discovered my brother had died. Jeremy was thoughtful, kind and provided the care and assistance required. He called 911, and waited with me until the EMTs, fire department and 2 police officers arrived. He made sure I was okay and after responding to all of the Police Officer's questions left. No one could have conducted themselves in a more thoughtful professional manner that I witnessed Jeremy act that terrible day. IF he is a representative of the apartment company staff, the staff must be first rate as Jeremy's conduct and awareness of the situation was off the charts good.

For the square footage you're getting, the price is a steal. Sure the unit could stand to be updated but I don't mind it so much. I've made it feel like home. The office staff have been absolutely amazing. Quick to respond to any maintenance issues or any concerns. I am also a single mom with a teenage son and I can honestly say that I have felt safe everyday that I've been here. You are just minutes away from downtown Noblesville & Federal Hills Commons that hosts the Noblesville Farmers Market and many other fun little events. I highly recommend calling Rivers Edge your next home!

Starting from trying to even rent the place the leasing agents were AMAZING, especially Jodie. We were trying to rent from halfway across the country and she made it so smooth! Their communication is superb. As tenants we had zero issues. The maintenance staff was also very good and always very helpful and kind as well. They even showed up within 10 minutes one morning when my door knob fell off. The location is great, half an hour to IU health, 6 minutes to Costco, Trader Joes, Fresh Thyme, and a bunch of clothing stores (Ross, Burlington, etc.), less than 20 minutes to Fort Harrison State Park. Basically whatever you need is in short driving distance :) We had the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and it was a great value, the layout was very practical and the complex was very quite and well kept. The only downsides were not having an elevator and the electricity bill in the winter due to heat being electric. Just 2 points to consider when moving in. Overall, I would highly recommend this complex, they're great!

Residents are fined over minor trash "violations" based on how valet trash employees think bags should be packaged, which feels excessive and unreasonable. Meanwhile, actual maintenance issues that affect health and safety have been ongoing. Our bathroom ceiling developed mold and had to have drywall cut out, as well as mold removal, -- making the bathroom unusable -- not once, but twice within just a few months. Now, during the recent cold front and snowstorm, two of our windows cracked. One of them is so drafty we've had to tape up cardboard and hang blankets just to keep cold air out. Our young children have been complaining about how cold it is inside the unit and are sleeping in fleece pajamas with multiple layers and blankets just to stay warm. A family friend who works as an ER nurse has even expressed concern about the temperatures our kids are exposed to indoors. For nearly $2,000 a month, this is unacceptable. Snow removal has also been a disaster. City roads have been cleared, yet our complex remains covered because management is "waiting on the vendor." It makes the property feel neglected and unsafe. This place is quick to fine residents but slow to fix serious problems. Save yourself the stress and find a community that actually maintains their property and prioritizes resident well-being. We will not be renewing our lease here.
