The Hudson was a very nice dining experience. We started off with a round of drinks, which were tasty. My husband had the salmon and I had a burger with fries. The food was great quality and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My only suggestion would be to have a bun for the burger rather than bread. I thought maybe they ran out of buns, but I think that's how it is usually served. Nice dinner place in Sedona.

This place has a BEAUTIFUL view! Not sure the rock formation name but just gorgeous. The waitress was polite. We got everything we ordered quickly. We ordered the pretzel bread and wings to start. The bread and cheese were great! The wings were a little bland if you didn't roll around in extra sauce on the plate. Not sure what made them 'fireball' because they were not spicy. Glad they didn't taste like cinnamon my son got the chicken pot pie and it just tasted like peppered chicken. It was so ridiculously hot he couldn't even try it for like 1/2 hour. My husband and I were done before he even had a bite. My husband had the bison burger and it was nothing special. I had the swordfish (I know risky since we were in the desert!) it was bland. Combining it with the sauce and potatoes made it decent. The vegetables were great. We did not stay for dessert

This place is amazing, amazing, amazing--I'm still thinking about the food! Every single bite was out of this world--packed with flavor and seriously delicious. You can tell they put real thought into every dish. The bruschetta was a standout, and I loved that it was cut in half, making it perfect for sharing (or not... no judgment if you keep it all to yourself ). Fair warning: the salads are HUGE. Like, full-on entrée status. If you order one, you might not have room for much else--but honestly, it could easily be your whole meal and you'd leave happy. The service? Excellent. Attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance hit that sweet spot--comfortable, inviting, and just the right vibe for a night out. And yes, there's a full bar, which just seals the deal. I'll definitely be back. This spot absolutely delivers from start to finish.

One of the best dinners and views in Sedona. Service and food are unbelievable every time. Get a reservation in advance.

Wow absolutely blown away! This is our 2nd time visiting Sedona in the last 15 years and everything was just as amazing as we remember it. We decided to give the Hudson a try when they first opened at 11:30am. Food (5/5): One word. Fantastic! We ordered their famous mushroom burger, chicken caprese sandwich, open face turkey sandwich, the chicken pot pie, and the southwestern chicken pasta. The mushroom burger was juicy and well flavored. The fries were perfectly crispy and salted. The turkey sandwich had a generous portion of cheese layered on top of avocado, tomatoes, and tasty turkey. The pot pie had a nice, flakey layered crust and the filling was creamy and delicious! The southwestern chicken pasta had a great variety of flavors! Lastly, we stuffed ourselves with their peach cobbler topped with decadent vanilla ice cream. The textures together were delightful! Service: Super quick and professional! Our server, Kyle, was friendly and super attentive. We appreciated his recommendations and hospitality! Other staff members came to refill our drinks and made sure we were comfortable during our stay as well. Ambiance: Beautiful! This restaurant was located in the back of the Hillside parking complex after you walk up a nice big staircase. Our table had a direct view to the Sedona rock scape and it was amazing to look at while eating. The restaurant was nicely air conditioned and luxurious looking.

We were here for lunch after the cathedral Rock hike. Walk in before 12, so we got a seat at the patio. Wow, the view is great! And after the food come, the food is even better. Husband had their today's special, something like a Mexican sub, i tasted it, really great! I had a steak whatever thing on a pita bread, also great! Very tasty and satisfying. Both of us are super impressed with this place! And again, it's recommended by Chatgtp!

Beautiful atmosphere in Sedona, but be prepared for a wait. We waited about 45 minutes, and the table turnover isn't very fast, so expect a long wait during peak hours. For starters, the beer battered calamari and dynamite shrimp had very strong Asian-inspired flavors. As for the Hudson Mushroom Burger, it's served on ciabatta-style bread rather than a standard bun, making it feel more like a sandwich. It was good, but I wouldn't call it the best I've had. On the plus side, the portions are generous and the side of fries/coleslaw were satisfying. Having visited for three years in a row, I felt the taste wasn't quite as good as it used to be, which was a bit disappointing.

Best place so far on my trip. Food is spectacular. Drinks are another level. Waiter and food serivice was quick. Setting if out of this world incase in beautiful landscape of Sedona rocks.

The Hudson has always been my favorite restaurant in Sedona. From the breathtaking views, to the delicious food and amazing service, The Hudson should be your go-to restaurant in the area. The bison burger was so incredibly delicious. Bison is such a lean, healthier red meat. It's definitely a favorite of mine, so when I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to order it. The chopped salad was the perfect accompaniment with its fresh avocado and corn. The portions were perfect for sharing! I would always recommend a reservation. The restaurant was more than accommodating on having a seat with a view on the inside, especially as it was a bit of a warmer day. The Hudson is also located in a cute little area, with plenty of parking and local shops. The food and vibes are always consistent and amazing and I will be dreaming of this meal until I can dine here again, soon!

Service was great and the food was excellent. Our table had 3 of the bruschetta's (corn, salmon, Brie & apple), dynamite shrimp, swordfish sandwich, and the Quinoa salad with added prawns. Can't say enough good things about all of it, and the staff was great about answering questions and helping us decide.

Sesame Seared Rare Ahi Tuna Salad (3/5)

Chocolate Chunk Skookie Avalanche (4/5): Would've preferred no nuts and a slightly firmer cookie. The ice cream was very good. Salted Soft Pretzel Bread (4/5): The cheese sauce was like queso which wasn't my favorite pairing with the pretzel bites. The pretzel itself was very soft. The mustard was pretty good (I preferred this over the cheese). Prickly Pear BBQ Baby Back Ribs (3/5): Ribs were fall off the bone and very tender but I didn't love the sauce (which there was far too much of). There also wasn't any bark on the meat or any smokiness. The fries were crispy and delicious. The coleslaw was gross and had a weird sweet flavor that was caramel-like. Sesame Seared Rare Ahi Tuna Salad (3/5): Tuna was mediocre. Salad had a lot of different textures which I liked but the dressing was a little too heavy on the ginger for me. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

    Pork Chops

We arrived around 8:30 PM after just getting into town, and the place was packed. Luckily, we were able to grab a couple seats at the bar. Our bartender/waitress was awesome - super friendly, attentive, and made the experience really enjoyable despite. Pork Chops: the sauce was great, but unfortunately the pork chop itself was overcooked and pretty chewy. The mashed potatoes and vegetables, however, were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Chicken Pot Pie: the crust was delicious and nice and crispy, and the flavor was good. The filling, though, was a bit too soupy, and the chicken came in larger chunks rather than being more incorporated into the filling. Not going to lie... mine at home is better. Still decent flavor, just not cooked quite right. Overall, it's a cute place with a beautiful view and amazing service, but the food was a bit mediocre compared to the rest of the experience.

I was seated outside next to a delightful courtyard in shade with soft, warm breezes. I had the Prix Fixe menu, selecting Chilean Sea Bass as my entree. The first course was the lobster bisque. This is not only a refined and tasty soup but there are many chunks of lobster meat (whoa). The bisque also has a slightly sweet and rich taste. The main course was Chilean Sea Bass. The well-grilled fish was placed on yummy garlic mashed potatoes. Also, gracing the plate were fresh green beans and a tasty choice of delectable dipping sauces for the fish. The final (dessert) course was Triple Cream Brie Cheesecake. We sat outside on the patio, absolutely beautiful weather and the tables are gently shaded by beautiful Brazilian Pepper trees. My only issue, I had bits of the tree in my hair, my water, my drink and my dinner. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic, a warm, gracious pro. PERFECT!! We started with the bone marrow appetizer. Maybe the best I've had at a restaurant. Came topped with a piping of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. Perfectly cooked and served with toasted brioche bread, smoked sea salt and a bacon marmalade. It was delicious and huge. My only thoughts on making it perfect...Go ahead and salt your marrow in the kitchen and add another slice of toast. You are serving two big marrow bones, so don't be stingy with a piece of toast. All that said, this app was highlight of dinner. My daughter opted for another appetizer as her entree. She had the Spanish style garlic chili shrimp in butter. Looked huge and she said it was over the top fabulous. (I'm allergic to shellfish so I just took her word) She added some duck fat fries which were fine, but not great. I had the mushroom strudel and it was okay but frankly pretty underwhelming. Think it had been pre-made, filling was blah, flakey pastry was not, and highlight was a plucky little pepper sauce that was delicious but didn't really go with the main dish. It screamed for a nice cream sauce, and some butter in the filling. I love mushrooms as a main and this poor little pastry looked and tasted like a hot pocket. Now back to the positives. The dark chocolate soufflé with homemade crème anglaise is lovely and well worth it . My daughter also loved the prickly pear margaritas. All in all, really nice experience and meal. The kitchen obviously functions well and service is perfect. A few tweaks on the menu and this place is stellar. Even now, a Great special occasion restaurant and the location and lovely service made it special for us.
