Music on the weekends is always amazing. They have a food truck that has a lot of Mexican fair and some regular bar staples! Definitely try the food while you are having a cocktail! If I had a complaint I would say the brussel sprouts vegetables were a tad cold, with that being said the flavor was amazing and my wife really liked them, the mashed potatoes were warm and flavor was amazing. Our bartender I don't recall his name was great super friendly and attentive to what we needed. Was there Saturday, 9/11/21 and again Sunday, 9/12/21 for the Roger Clyne & PH ticketed show. Our group would not have returned Sunday to give this place our business but we had already purchased tickets to Roger's show (he and PH are long-time friends). As a result, I am sharing our experience here from both days. Went to the food truck and ordered nachos. They ran out of chips and offered to make them with french fries, assured us they were great. We waited a really LOONNNGGGG time for them to come up. They were not great and not even good. We threw both orders away. Lesson learned. We knew to go and eat elsewhere BEFORE the show Sunday. Saturday night we purchased the same three rounds of drinks at the walk-up bar oustide for our group and each time, the total was a different amount. Maybe because we paid with cash??? At the end of the evening, we witnessed a group of people on the outside area who were being obnoxious and destructive. The so-called bouncer standing at the outside entrance/exit stood and watched it all go down. They even taunted him about doing nothing about their actions and behavior. They stood up on the counters and chairs yelling, turned over stools being stupid and drunk. It was nothing less of distracting and as business owners ourselves, we could not believe that the again so-called "bouncer" stood and watched this go down and not once did he approach this group and ask them to tone it down ... and neither did the owners. It turned into a free for all for this group and was a complete disgrace that they would allow this sort of behavior. All of this after we were told earlier in the night the upper levels next to the stage were not available to use or sit in because the bar owners didn't want anyone "bothering" the band that was playing. Seems to be a contradiction of terms in comparison with what they let occur. So the PAYING customers being "bothered" is acceptable there. On to Sunday... ... ... Sunday, 9/12/21 Roger Clyne ticketed show. The bar owners clearly had no business attempting to do two consecutive shows in the same afternoon only hours apart. Parking was a nightmare and it went downhill from there. The so-called VIP tickets and areas were a joke (this is the same area we were told the night before was off limits so that the local AZ band playing there would not be "bothered") but today with a known national act, that was of no concern. The bar is just that, a bar. This is not even close to the caliber of a ticketed event venue. The owner Tom came by and was boasting to another table that he and his co-owner make $3.00 off every ATM transaction ran off the machine there, he said and I quote, "yeah, cha-ching, we make bank off the ATM!" Really rude to hear him verbalize taking advantage of patrons so loud and proud that many of us heard him, just wow! Anyone who had tickets to both shows got to stay for the 2nd show so the next group of ticketed patrons were forced to be seated around them. It was clear that the owners let their "friends" have priority seating and stay even if no tickets for show #2. We asked a group if they had paid for tickets to show #2 and they laughed and said nope, we got cart blanche and Tommy let us stay. So that means ticketed patrons were forced to squeeze into other tables and or corners. Again, the owners ripping off PAYING patrons, not okay! Clearly this is how they need to conduct business to be profitable by taking advantage of unsuspecting, well intentioned paying customers. For me and our group of 10 who are frequent Munds Park visitors, we will not give them another dime of our money and will spread the word about their ATM money grab sideline they use. They also have the bands playing there announce that there is an ATM on site during their shows to be sure they line their pockets. If you go, be aware and use only cash. And double check what you get charged for drinks. Apparently, that is a free for all. On a positive note, the inside male bartender was really nice and so was the weather. Peace out. read more

Nice location, but we bought VIP tickets for a Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers concert and were disappointed. There was reserved VIP seating, but it was _behind_ the band and not in the shade. People who did not pay extra for VIP and came extra early were able to get better seating in front of the stage with umbrellas for shade. Stuck in back, we chose to sit on stools as close to the back of the stage as possible, rather than at one of the tables farther back, so we could at least be close to the band. But since the speakers were all pointed forward, we couldn't hear Roger singing over the sound of the band. It was like a wholly instrumental performance. So beware the VIP ticket--it's not much of a deal! On the other hand, RCPM still rocked and the food truck was all right (though they call themselves a taco shop and don't sell tacos, the burgers were pretty good). read more

My favorite! Every time we come to Munds Park we have to go to Borracho. It's a small bar-- probably 8 chairs and some tables-- but got to love hanging with the locals in this very merry lit up place. Great drinks, great prices, great location! read more

This is one of the few spots in munds park where you can get a drink and some food that was cooked by someone else-via the food truck outside. The indoor area is pretty small, it's a cool cabin a-frame but probably seats about 10 at best. Because it's an A-frame, most of the TVs inside are on a slant so you have to look up at an angel that is not the most comfortable. There's a flat tv on the back wall though if you want to watch sports. They have a big outdoor patio area with a really large tv, which is nice. We didn't try any of the food but the drinks were fine. A little overpriced for what it was honestly, but you're paying for the atmosphere here imo. Overall decent place, would go again. read more

So ya, as anyone in town could confirm, I have had the distorted pleasure of buying one drink, for $10 per drink multiple times at this "saloon place in Munds." Fine, charge what you need to. Yet tonight, when I was charged $11.40 for the same drink that was $10.00 last time I was there a week ago, I questioned the bill. To my surprise, I was attacked by the main bartender as "someone who gave her a hard time." I simply acknowledged that the same drink I ordered the previous week cost $1.40 more today. She proceeded to explode emotionally at me, and she called security to remove me because of my awareness to the price increase. Hello? Do we hate on aware patrons as a policy to protect ignorant control freak bartenders? Is the place about her or the patrons? Sadly this bartender/manager has no awareness to acknowledge that what I noticed in the form of a price change was real. Just be honest, is that so hard to do? She had her own agenda to discredit the truth, and she held a desire to control her own patrons opinion of the price hike. If you want to see a venue run in a professional flow here in Munds, you must now cater to this women behind the bar at this place, above the patrons, because it's all about her there. What a horrible experience and service today, and a sad attempt at bullying the customer for not complying with her narcissistic desire to control her patrons awareness. She most certainly has the staff indoctrinated to obey her no matter what, and the little boys love the power she gives them to obey her wishes. If these little boys can kick someone out, on her behalf, they feel so empowered in their ignorance. What a fake environment for all to follow, There is no love for the customer in this saloon as long as she is controlling the environment. It's for sure all about the women bartender from Sept 7th 2024 . Do you know her? Does she rule over you as an owner or employee? She certainly thinks she does. She kicked customers out for realizing price increase, and she gets her bar boys to act as if they have power to enforce ignorant lies. If you own this bar, you're being taken advantage of no doubt by this control freak bartender. They actually kicked me out for noticing a price hike. There was no other reason to do so. This town is sad to me. If you don't take your power back from these power hungry bullies behind your bars, you're just as fake as they are. The venue is not about YOU bartender, it's about the customer. Munds park, has great people... but guys... come on now...are we going to give our power away to those who don't deserve any of our power? I hope you the patron chooses to not be as fake as those who worship the ignorant self serving staff here. It's more insane than you realize. Be the change. Please live your life to be real, not fake. Munds could be so much more if you don't need to be liked by these control freaks. Munds park people that are real, are awesome. Thank you for being true.
