Outpost is a turkey farm that also sells sandwiches and a few other items from the on-site store. The sandwiches are made with their turkey and there's a decent variety of options (if you like turkey). They're pretty tasty and only about $6. Great selection of home-made products and local favorites like jams and maple syrup. I ended up buying some hot food - broasted chicken with potato wedges. Yum. Good price and plentiful portions. Produce and other food I purchased from the farm were great, but I have to say the BEST part of the farm is the customer service. Not only quick, but so friendly! A little girl and her dad were behind me in line, the man at the register asked if she could have a cookie, dad said yes. The man then took money out of his own wallet and purchased a cookie for the little girl. My friend and I left wondering what planet we were on. Support this local business! read more

This year I experimented with the mash potatoes . I bought them early with everything else and froze them. The workers at Out Post advised against it for fear of the mashed coming out watery. Well.....I thawed them out then baked them in the oven. About half way through baking I checked them and yes they were watery...BUT as they continued to bake they thickened up to the consistency of mashed potatoes!! They acually came out AWESOME!!! So...If anyone is wondering...Yes you can freeze their wonderful mashed potatoes! I LOVE this place!! read more

This place is great! I work seven minutes away and most of the office gets lunch from here, especially on BBQ Thursdays. When you walk in, it has a warm friendly environment. I have yet to have a meal there that I did not like. They serve sandwiches, wraps, chicken fingers, wedges, fresh produce, deliciously soft cookies, and even have a fridge/feezer where you can buy fresh turkey legs, turkey pot pies, etc. Overall I love going to this place for lunch because the food is delicious and the price is just right! read more

The buffalo chicken sandwich on wheat wrap is like heaven on earth! My dad likes the turkey sandwich with cranberry and stuffing. But the best thing you could get here are the mashed potatoes. Outpost Farm is the absolute best place to get your thanksgiving day turkey!! Local farmstand grows the turkeys onsite, fresh kill orders need to be placed a couple of days in advance. More then just turkey too, but that's all I use them for. read more

Bought a 15 pound Turkey on a Sunday. Staff said the Turkey ws still cooking so we would need to come back and get it. Judging from how badly this Turkey was dried out when we go it home we should have taken it when we were first there. $75.00 for Turkey Stuffing and Gravey goes down as one of the worst purchases I have ever made. Simply Hearty! Excellent traditional new England foods. Prices are very reasonable. Excellent turkey soup full of big hunks of good wholesome veggies like squash, carrots, celery, onion and potato. Huge muffins for Breakfast, assorted cookies and breads regularly. Thanksgiving dinner any day of the week! I would say that outpost farm is very important part of our local community. We didn't want to cook last night so I went to Outpost Farm cause we had a gift certificate....ordered a roasted stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes and squash....was surprised that only one chicken was sitting in the warming tray....he said the squash was in the "freezer"...wasted a few minutes hunting for it until I asked the girl at the register...she said they were all out....somebody should have told the boy behind the display case....I took the potato, some stuffing and gravy...all were ice cold...so much for not having to cook!.....at home the chicken was disappointing....wasn't even warm...over cooked brittle skin...and the meat was definitely old and mushy...not fresh at all....wasn't impressed by the cold potato and stuffing. the stuffing was hard packed into the container like concrete.....probably will try the sandwiches but never again will we go the chicken dinner route..... read more

Delicious sandwiches, wraps, mashed potatoes, turkey, chicken... everything. Pricey, but worth it. Their gravy is especially delicious.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Holliston. I dont think there is anything in there that isnt fantastic. The sandwiches are great, the fresh baked goods are as well(try the zuccini bread when they have it), the frozen turckey pot pie is to die for. I get my thanksgiving turkey here every year and its so much better than anything i can get from a store and in the summer they have fresh produce as well.
