The meat was very juicy and seasoned perfect, the BBQ sauce added just enough sweet and smokiness, and the crispy, salty bacon made this a truly an amazing burger! The onion rings were nearly as impressive as the burger itself! The breading was a perfect golden brown and very crunchy without feeling too greasy. The portions were large! Each bite was full of flavor and light enough to make it easy to not think about how many onion rings I was actually eating! I would say the combination of the burger and onion rings made this one of my better burgers that I have eaten in a while! What I liked as much about Aztec Burgers was how inexpensive the burgers are! It was both an extremely satisfying meal, as well as very cheap when compared to other restaurants with similar offerings in this area. The flavor, the size of the portions, and the price were all factors that contributed to such an amazing evening at Aztec Burgers! Aztec Burgers is one of those places I will definitely return to. With their outstanding smashburgers, the perfect fried onion rings, as well as their warm and casual service style, if you're anywhere near Henderson or Las Vegas and are looking for a burger that is both delicious, then you have to give Aztec Burgers a try! Plenty of parking in the shopping center, the signage is very prominent so there is no mistaking where you're going. Walking in the front door, you feel like you're home again. Lots of cool artwork on the walls, a very wood-based environment, has a country charm to it with a modern upscale feel. We went there for appetizers as we were on a time crunch, so we ordered the blueberry chicken sliders, the corn ribs, and the blueberry chicken wings. I had heard about these for the longest time, and everyone said they were amazing. Well I'm here to tell you that they 100% are! The corn ribs were wonderful with the cilantro dipping sauce. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have put some Jalisco cheese on it and made it a little more like street corn. But hey who am I to complain about these corn ribs? I ate them all. The blueberry chicken sliders were absolutely off the charts! I had heard about these several times. People saying things like they are the absolute best to your taste. Buds will be stunned for days. Well, they weren't wrong, these sliders were absolutely wonderful. And we cannot forget the blueberry smoked chicken wings. These things were so well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and the blueberry softs on top took it to a whole other dimension. I would eat probably three or four more plates of these. But we really frequent this bar and it's always one of our stops when we hit up Water Street. First of all, the view of the city are absolutely amazing on their rooftop. On the weekends, they always have a DJ up there when the weather is nice. The drinks are always good, typical easy bar drinks like beers, G&Ts, things like that. But always super solid and relatively cheap. But the real star of the show is the BURGER! Maybe it's because every time I have it, I'm a few drinks deep, or maybe it's just the best burger ever. But this is honestly my FAVORITE burger. It's sooo good. I have no idea what makes it so good, but it really is the best. They also hand cut all their fries and make them fresh! And it SHOWS! They had a live band playing and I love that their wall opens up to Water Street and is basically a patio. It's gorgeous here. Our servers were great and so nice with us. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. It came with fries which were also really good. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and reminds me of something you'd find downtown Vegas. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.
