It breaks my heart to leave a 1-star review for a local business, but I don't want anyone else stuck with a $1,800 rug they can't use. Outrageous Rugs relocated within the same shopping center in mid-July 2025, but even a month later their phones still had not been reconnected, according to the manager. This made it difficult to reach them after the owner sold me a rug that was not the size he had promised, despite nearly two hours of discussion in the store. When I finally tracked down the manager in person, he was unhelpful and unwilling to work with me on a rug that didn't fit the room it was purchased for. The lack of customer support was especially disappointing given the owner's assurances and the high price point of their products. If you shop here, bring your own tape measure and do not rely on staff advice. Only purchase if you are absolutely certain the rug will fit, because all sales are final. read more

This Play says excellent customer service! We saw the Commercial about them having a large selection of rugs that were on sale. So today we decided to visit in when we walked in it was just so nice to see so many rugs at very, very beautiful and super large like museum grade grand and ornate industrial and home rugs. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very nice salesman. I told him what I was looking for and they didn't really have it but he did show me some of the options that they did have. I just super appreciated his courtesy and kindness and very good conversation. This place is like where you can find any rug any color super large area rugs things that you can't find at a regular, you know home furnishing, nor big box store. Horrible establishment and horrible customer service, I would give this place a 0 star if I could. Parked my car in the parking lot that they share with other businesses at the shopping center, I came out after shopping to find my car blocked in by their personal work car I was very confused. I walked in the store and asked why the white van was blocking my car and they said because they didn't like the way I parked. The employee was very disrespectful, rude, and could tell he was very un happy with his failing business and with himself. He then became aggressive and told me he better not see my car parked in the lot again. I was very confused after the threat and asked if he could move his car so I could leave, he became very hostile then ordered someone to move the car and made another remark as I was leaving. I would highly recommend you go to the rug store a block down the street better deals and people. I feel bad for him and his employees, very weak minded and disrespectful. Shop else where! read more

Met up with the husband for lunch and decided to browse this store since it was next door to where we were eating. There were signs for 50% off so we couldn't resist. Having a big house means plenty of room to decorate and buy stuff for it! My husband loves Persian and Turkish rugs so we found 2 we liked. One for the living room and one for the dining room. The man there was very knowledgeable about the rugs. We told him the colors of our furniture and he suggested a few colors that would pop and add class to the rooms. The rugs are a little pricey, but they're Persian rugs after all. He gave us a deal for buying two rugs and we walked out of there with gigantic rugs for our house. The place maybe small but there's tons of selections and you can order some from his book if they don't have it available. I was looking for 2 large area rugs. They allowed me to take home 2 that were the rugs I was thinking of but needed to order in different sizes -just so I'd be sure. They gave me pointers of measuring the dining room rug so that the chairs would remain on the rug when pulled out. They ordered and cut a rug for me n provided the pad as well. They delivered and installed them. The guys were the best. Kind, considerate and very professional. I'd buy again from them in a heartbeat. My fiancé and I stopped by here after work one day to look for a rug for our condo. They had a very large selection of rugs in many different styles and sizes. Ross, the owner/manager (?) was very helpful and let us look through their selection. There were many rugs that were out of our price range but we did end up finding a rug that we liked that was within our budget. It was already on sale but we asked Ross if that was the best he could do and he brought the price down an extra $25 plus sold us a very high quality rug pad for $20 (not one of those net looking rug pads you get at Target or Wal-Mart for $40...this one is thick and cushioned.) I came here after having such a bad experience and bad customer service from a place down the street called sd rug co. An employee from the floor liquidation store recommended me and my mom to go here for rugs and I'm glad we listened to him. The man that helped us was so nice, he cared about what I wanted and tried to help me find what I was looking for. They have high quality and wide variety of rugs at such great prices. The variety of types goes from runners to huge pieces, unfortunately I wasn't able to find what I was looking for because I'm too picky since it's for my business space. PASS. I honestly dont get why this place has such good reviews lol. The place looks the part but as soon as you look like your thinking about leaving the place the wolves descend. He asked me what i thought so far and i said its to expensive here. I found similar rugs on offer up from the dealer for half the price of the ones here so ill probably just go with them. And thats when he told me he had saw which rug i was looking at and could knock $175 dollars off the price if that sounded good? Bottomline he should be selling them at a fair market price or a slight mark up but to be comfortable knocking $175 off the top out the gate tells me their either desperate fir sales or cooking the books. I used outrageous rugs for the first time, only for a Matt to place under a very expensive rug. I am moving and it has to be done in stages and knowing when this Matt would be delivered so the rug could be delivered was important. As soon as I gave my cc number...Mike's attitude totally changed. He was rude, and degrading. I had to keep calling for when this Matt would be delivered as I had the company delivering the huge rug, calling me. I even left a key under the Matt at my front door for easy access for Mike and this company. When I simply called to again inquire if they had indeed dropped the Matt inside, Mike told me that I was a nuisance and to quit calling. ????My friend followed up Tuesday morning as I was feeling to intimidated to inquire yet again, about this matt When my friend called, the Matt had been delivered the night before. I received no call to inform me of this. He basically told my friend, cut her off on the phone, " it's there, we dropped it last night and I don't want to hear her name ( my name) again" I have NEVER experienced such rude, terrible, unprofessional treatment ever...ever ..and I'm 55 years old and come from the old school of respectful exchange in any situation, whether it be in my personal or professional life. So, I have only submitted 2 yelp reviews ever. 1 was to thank and praise another company for just being reliable. This is the 2nd one. I love these guys. I was looking for a rug with a specific blue color. I happened on their store and George and Armando showed us dozens of rugs until we came to the right one. I needed a very large size which was a special order. They said they would deliver as I am a senior. When I got home I realized that I has not taken the floor vents into consideration and really needed a smaller rug and a runner. I call them and they were gracious in changing the order.
