I had 2 issues that needed attention. 1. I had a leaking toilet that was leaking from the base on every flush. This was my priority fix. 2. I had another toilet that needed replacement. It was a lesser used toilet and had been broken for a few years. We started searching Yelp for plumbers and H S Goldberg Plumbing & Mechanical caught our eye. They had great reviews so I gave them a call. Harry returned my call and said he could have a team here in the morning. I was floored. A prompt reply and quick service. Then I talked to Harry and he gave me an estimate and some toilet options that was reasonable. It was like I hit the lottery. The next day Brenden and Jake were dispatched to my residence. Professional and courteous even though having to deal with my dogs barking at them until they settled down. My leaking toilet was just a wax ring replacement as Brenden said the the flange was in pretty good shape. They called it a "Pull and Reset Service". My toilet replacement was a little more complicated. Once they pulled the toilet, they found the metal flange had rusted and deteriorated. They repaired the flange and set the new toilet. Yes, they arrived with the new toilet and took away the old one. I was glad I didn't have to deal with that. These professionals came fully prepared and were very respectful of their surroundings. They did their job, tested for leaks and cleaned up as if they were never there. Again, Brenden and Jake were truly professionals. Thanks guys. At last, I have found my go-to plumber. Luckily we were home and cut the main water off but needed a plumber first thing in the morning on a Sunday. We were striking out. No calls back. Voicemails upon voicemails to several companies and local plumbers. We were fairly new to the home and area and did not establish any plumbing service with anyone. Some companies were only responding to established customers first. We found several people on social media (FB) had recommended David's Plumbing on local community pages. We gave it a try. He picked up but you can tell he was moving from job site to job site. He squeezed in a visit to our home that same day in the early afternoon. The pipe ran along a very poorly insulated and tight crawl space. In about an hour, the pipe was repaired. He released the air and pressure from the entire system. He examined the basement and the system. He tested and ensured all worked properly. David was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He showed up in his company vehicle with everything needed to complete the job on site. We found his rate to be extremely reasonable given the repair, the location of the burst-pipe, and the same-day service call. We highly recommend David Plumbing and will be using him moving forward for all our plumbing needs. He is fully licensed and certified.

This happened over a week ago. But imagine (if you will): awaking in the early morning attempting to get ready for work on a typical New England wintry day, when you notice the hot water is gone. As my heart sank to my nether regions, I feared the worst. Upon reaching the basement, my greatest anxieties were quickly realized as I witnessed what can only be described as a literal geyser erupting from my now dilapidated excuse of a water heater. In short, ladies and gentlemen, this thing was toast. With my basement partially flooded and my family potentially facing frigid showers, there was only one thing to do: contact the heating company who would quickest solve this dilemma for us. After scouring the four corners of Yelp for a little under an hour, A.J. LeBlanc was the first to respond. Due to it being incredibly snowy and dangerous out there (not mention having 3 other jobs earlier that same day), it took them a while to arrive. Once they did though, they were extremely accommodating, professional, and precise with their installation. After working out the quote and payment details, they were able to arrive with the necessary parts THE VERY SAME DAY! I don't think I need to tell you how important this point was for us, considering not all companies in the area can necessarily pull this off on such short notice. I won't tell you how much we spent that day. But let's just say it was just shy of a king's ransom. Nevertheless, it was quite worth every penny. They say you can't buy peace of mind, but Leblanc's prompt service comes damn close. What impressed me the most was not only the superb install job (which you can clearly see in the photos I posted); but also their brief yet thorough instruction on how everything works on the brand spanking new heater. It's worth noting that they made a big deal about making sure everything was done strictly to code. And we are eternally grateful, especially after learning the former water heater (which I *think* was around 8 years old) was severely outdated. I mean, the thing didn't even have a drain pan. Imagine having just a water heater sitting on the ground with nothing to catch any leaks. *sigh* Anyway.. The new water heater comes with a 6 year warranty. So, should anything unexpected happen before 2029, we'll know who to call. These guys probably saved our lives that day. Because I know I certainly didn't feel like catching hypothermia via shower due to an out-of-date, busted ass water heater from 2015. As such, I'm giving A.J. LeBlanc Heating, Inc. 5 state of the art water heaters out of 5.
