Wow what a bargain but even at full price, the pasta entree, Rigatoni Ragu was spectacular! A huge portion prepared to perfection. While dining, owner/chef Antonio came out to greet my wife and I. The interior is decorated very nice and it's comfortable! Almost reminds me of a coastal decor and I love the yacht rock they have playing. Upon being seated our servers have always been so nice, usually the owners son. What a great personality he has! Now to the food, it's delicious! Our favorite appetizer is the meatballs, so tender and love the side of ricotta that comes with it. Between appetizers they serve a complimentary mixed greens salad, very good. For entrees the sausage signature dish is out of this world, so flavorful! Chicken francese is delicious, however, in addition to the veggies it comes with I wish there was a starch. The spaghetti carbonara is soooo good, very rich and the pasta is always al dente how I like it. An added bonus is it is a byob. Another perk is on Wednesday and Thursday they have date night which is bogo entrees for couples. Caffe piazza is a treasure and we are so grateful to have found it!

After walking around a street fair on a beautiful summer Sunday, we came in for lunch. This was...confusing to say the least as other parties were already seated outside but there were many high top tables remaining. Service continued to be mostly a miss. Not knowledgeable about the menu and brief to the point of feeling dismissive (it didn't feel intentionally rude, but it didn't feel particularly helpful either). The food sucked. I had a gnocchi special which had a flavorful sauce but the gnocchi themselves were not the right texture, and the sauce itself had these big tomato wedges that were barely cooked down (think of like an orange wedge you might get post-meal, they were that big). These tomato wedges also found their way into the pappardelle bolognese. They weren't very good their either, but the real problem with the bolognese was that it just wasn't good at all. It tasted like someone had stirred some ground beef around in a post with tomato puree for 20 minutes. Absolutely not the rich and complex sauce that it should be. At this price point ($40 a plate!) the food or the service needs to be better. I will never return for a sit down dinner, but I still might try a lunch special.

Staff was always around our table prepared to portion food, change plates, fill water, etc. They were helpful and friendly through the entire meal. The menu has a promising selection of seafood and Spanish classics. Our party primarily ordered seafood dishes. The quality of ingredients is good, but some of the preparation fell short. The shrimp appetizer was slightly overcooked and mealy, and the special broiled red snapper was similarly dry. I enjoyed the octopus, flavorful with a satisfying chew, and veal cutlets, well fried and sauced. There might have been an off day with some of the seafood preparation, but I can't see myself coming back soon - maybe if I wanted paella. Based on one experience I wouldn't come back for the seafood especially considering the relatively high price of items.

We were brought downstairs to a large room full of tables and were the only ones in there. We're all in our 70's and hearing/speaking can be challenging in a crowded/noisy dining room. We remained the only ones there for almost the entire 2 hours we were there and really enjoyed ourselves without having to yell or ask "WHAT!?" We shared a couple of salads (Greek and Arugula) and calamari, all very good. My wife had the seafood capellini and one sister the seafood fra diavolo, which they both enjoyed. My other sister had a seafood salad and my BIL went for the double cut pork chops, which he too enjoyed. I opted for the Halibut / risotto. Halibut is not an easy fish to make 'moist or juicy'. I make it at home and it comes out 'pretty good' (at least my wife says so) but here, this portion was fantastic! So light an flaky and tasty. Definitely give it a try if you enjoy Halibut. We all shared a couple of desserts... a home made carrot cake and a chocolate cake from 'outside'. Both good, but the carrot cake was served warm, which was a first for all of us... and it was terrific! Without a doubt the best carrot cake we'd ever had, so save a little room for their carrot cake if/when go.
