Nice little spot in the middle of Barbourville. Very nice staff and hot meals. No real complaints, will probably eat there again for breakfast. Love the shabby country chic decor great for small town charm. The food is not gourmet but better than cooking. Stop in and support this local business until COVID and college return to normal.

Food was good but everything was cold. I took it home and put it in the microwave. The baked potato was way too cold to eat.

I don't know how this is in tiny little Corbin, KY but I'm SO glad we found it via Yelp, & yet…read moreagain the great reviews were very trustworthy. We stopped in on a Saturday evening right after opening time, hoping we would be able to get a table. The place was mostly empty, but WOW was it gorgeous! So much decor, and not a speck of dust or cobwebs on any of it. Looked like a victorian era mansion inside the dining room they took us to. It was all autumnal decor, so beautiful! The place is probably an old department store or something with many different rooms, each with its own decor theme; lots of space for special events. Some families were seated in private rooms. I walked through several of the other rooms and they were all decorated for different holidays, Christmas & Halloween mostly. Although those rooms had a lot of kitschy decor, they were also very beautiful. There were giant carved fireplace mantles, grand pianos, a hall of mirrors, and gorgeous carved wood antique furnishings everywhere. We were coming from a family reunion & a trip to Cumberland Falls, so I feared we would be underdressed (and felt we were a bit), but the staff was very welcoming and we had no problem being seated. Several other diners were dressed very well, and others were wearing jeans and t-shirts. It appears to be a very popular date restaurant, and it would definitely be a great romantic spot for a special dinner. The server was quick, efficient and friendly and made good suggestions. We ordered side salads which arrived quickly and were beautifully arranged. Super fresh ingredients, and delicious dressings. My husband kept exclaiming it was the nicest side salad he's had anywhere, so he was apparently pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken piccata, and my unadventurous husband had a burger. He liked his burger, and ate most of it. My chicken piccata was excellent! The generously sized two pieces of chicken were a bit thicker than usual for piccata, but they were cooked perfectly. Crispy exterior, and very tender and flavorful on the inside. The sauce was a bit thicker than normal piccata sauce but man was it good, and they did not skimp on the capers, which is my favorite part of the dish! It was served over a delicious rice blend which went so well with the sauce and served as a nice foil to the rich saltiness of the chicken. I ate way more of it than I even intended to and was stuffed. As much as we ate for dinner, unbelievably, we forced room for dessert and got an amazingly good chocolate cream cake of some sort which had thick layers of whipped filling between layers of chocolate cake, all topped with ganache. It was like a homemade hostess ding-dong, except way more moist. We ate most of it, despite our full bellies. My husband also raved about this cake, which is unusual because he usually hates things with whipped fillings, but he loved the cake & we had it eaten in no time. Finally, when it was time to pay the bill, it was actually a lot more reasonable than many other places that aren't half as good. Server did a great job. We were super happy with our dinner experience, and both of us agreed that Seasons is a major blessing for downtown Corbin. We will definitely stop in again without hesitation. We walked off our meal by meandering around town in the beautiful evening weather, ending up a block or two away at the pinball museum, so we had a fun date night, all in downtown Corbin!

It set the stage perfectly for what was to come. Our host was quick and helpful, immediately bringing us big cups of water, which was a nice touch. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and was impressed by its tenderness, pairing it with crispy onion rings. Nicole and our little one shared the mixed platter, which came with two ribs, two pieces of chicken (choice of dark or light), and pulled pork, plus sides of beans and mac & cheese. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Even Floyd and Casey got to enjoy some scraps, which they happily devoured. Dessert was a highlight: two cinnamon apple bread pudding cakes with whipped cream. Rich, sweet, and indulgent -- we left feeling full enough to skip dinner and ready for a nap. The only drawback was the grease factor. Toast was overly buttered, and overall the food leaned heavy, so be prepared to grab plenty of napkins. While the flavors were excellent, the richness sometimes felt a bit overwhelming. Sonny's BBQ delivers hearty portions, smoky flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere with attentive service. It's a great stop for comfort food on the road, though a touch less grease would make it perfect.

You can walk inside to a small counter with just a handful of tables, where everything feels warm, familiar, and unchanged. The regulars swear by the juicy double cheeseburgers, big footlong chili dogs, and some of the best coleslaw you'll find anywhere. They have a good line of milkshakes either, especially the butterscotch shake. The place fills up fast, and most of the customers there we saw did not even need a menu because they already know what they want. That is not the case for us, as we were just paying thru the area. But this is the kind of diner where the food tastes the same as it did years ago, time seems to slow down, and you're treated like family the second you show up. We both went with the Double Cheese burger with all the topping expect the chili one. The onions on these burgers were an outstanding. I could have ate a whole cup of them by their self. My wife had a large onion rings for her side, while I opted for the large curl fries. My wife noted that the onion ring were breaded correctly and the onion did not slide out of the breading when you bite in to them, the curly fries were also firm and just the right amount of crispness. The service is attentive and makes you feel like you are a regular, and expressed a fine example of true southern hospitality. This place is good choice for a solid quick and traditional meal with a very laid back environment that is very welcoming. If you are in the area we highly recommend that you give this place a try.

I tried the prime rib special with two sides. Requested medium rare with sides of fried okra and green beans (before realizing green beans aren't in their menu). Our friendly waiter recommended broccoli or asparagus. I chose asparagus which was completely overdone to charred, woody and inedible. I've done that myself at home but this should not have been plated. I didn't mind no asparagus but was surprised it was an up charge (premium side - should've read the menu more thoroughly). Overall, you can't go wrong with the regular fare like burgers and appetizers. It's a clean restaurant with very friendly staff - they make you feel special, almost like family. Give them a try but don't expect quality restaurant cuisine. This is a diner with ambience.

The restaurant was playing "old style" Christmas music (like from the 40's-60's) over the speakers that was very pleasant. There is a full service bar on one side of the restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant was very clean. Our server came right over and took our drink order, then our food order. She also brought us a loaf of brown bread with soft butter. We decided to split the grilled salmon with the house made potato cakes and steamed broccoli. It was all delicious! The potato cakes were killer! The best we've ever had! The server said they make them here. They also have them on the appetizer menu. We HIGHLY recommend them!! The broccoli was cooked just right with what tasted like minced garlic and a little Parmesan maybe. Very flavorful. The salmon was topped with a diced tomato relish that was nice. We really enjoyed the entire meal and experience! Our server, Aerial, was wonderful!! We go back and forth between TN and Ohio quite often. We will definitely be back.
