I had a flat tire and found this auto repair shop online. Their address came up, and it said they were open, so I decided to drive there. I only had one chance to make it somewhere because my tire was already losing air very fast. When I arrived, the place was completely closed, despite the website saying it was open. Day ruined, I thought when I saw an indicator lit up on my dashboard that a tire is running low. Parked right away. Looked at my front tire and there it was - a nail sticking right out out of it. I must say that I'm happy that I spotted this before the tire ran completely flat. Having to swap the tire or even calling a tow truck would have been even worst. So I got into my car and started calling various tire shops around the location where I was at a time. Pep Boys were the first store that offered to fix the tire if I bring and leave my car with them for a few hours. No way! I definitely did not have time to drop my car off for the rest of the day! A few other places I called were also giving me problems with either being over booked or beeing too expensive. At some point Overland Tire Center came up in my list and I called them to check if they can fix the puncture in my tire on the spot. The guy on the other line said that it would be absolutely no problem and it would only take a few minutes to do so. Off I went. The whole thing really did take about 20 minutes to finish. I believe it was the shop owner who took my car in while I sat down and waited at the office. A few minutes later the car was done and I was ready to leave. Quick and easy exactly what I needed to go on to continue my day. Fingers crossed I will never have to come back for this again but if it's so happens that I need to revisit to fix a tire or to take care of another car issue I will definitely consider this shop as my to-go to place. read more

Guys, stay away from this shady place. I went there today with a flat tire, and the guy saw that I had a nice car, so he tried to charge me 2.5 times the regular price. Fixing a flat tire usually costs $25-$40, but he wanted to charge me $100 and started lying about "some complications." With people like this, you can be sure they'll try to rip you off. I've been coming here for a few years now and Moses and his team always do a great job with my car! My car is an older (1994) model, which has been breaking down in new and interesting ways in its old age. Sometimes I'll leave my car overnight and when I come to pick it up, Moses will casually drop that he figured out the latest strange problem while he was tinkering with it at 9pm the prior evening. They will price you based on what you drive. I brought my Tesla in to get a nail removed. It wasn't in the sidewall, so it was a very easy patch job. The guy quoted me $100. He said because Teslas are very difficult to work on. Those of you who know cars know that this is complete bullshit, and if you have your pads, it actually makes the job easier. I took it up the road and got the patch done for $20. I will never ever go back to this place. Not saying that some of the work they do isn't quality, but they tried to rob me just cause I'm driving a nicer car. I would recommend going to somebody a little bit more trustworthy. read more

I came here and Moses helped me pick out tires for my car. They didn't have them in stock so he ordered them for me. When they put the tires on my car, I noticed the tires had a completely different name. I Googled it, and they had put a much lower quality, inferior tire on my car. Yet they were trying to charge me for the more expensive good tires. I asked about it, and Moses became very wishy washy, avoiding the question. I could tell he was lying. Moses is the man. After the dealership told me I needed new tires that were only a year old (nail in 2 of them), I came here for a second opinion. He was able to get both tires fixed. He also pointed out that my tires hadn't been rotated in a long time (something the dealer should have caught). He got everything done for me in an extremely quick amount of time for a great price. This place is extremely fair, honest, and knows what they're doing. It's a tire shop but they're full service for all auto repairs. Today was one of LA's heaviest rain days. I had just finished getting the 2nd vaccine shot for my kids when I got the low tire indicator. I knew immediately I had gotten a flat. Luckily I opted to head the rest of the way home to Culver City through Overland vs 405 and I was a few blocks from Overland Tire Center. I had been here before and had work with Moses who replaced my 2015 VW GTI rear tire. I was hoping that since I caught this early, a simple tire repair would do. Moses took off the tire, pulled out the metal object, and repaired the tire quickly. What could have been a $500 replacement for my Kia telluride was now a simple $30 fix. I came in for an oil change with a Valpak coupon for 27.99. The guy at the shop charged my $40 saying that the taxes and disposal fees made up the difference. I looked at my last oil change at another local, reputable auto shop, and the itemized receipt had the disposal fee at 3.50 which was included in the cost of the oil change ($25 coupon 3 months ago). To say that taxes and disposal fees add up to $12 is blatant deception and dishonesty, I would never recommend anyone to come to this shop where they lie about prices. read more

I went here with a coupon for a $20 oil change and was told I needed 4 new tires for $400. I felt pressured and reluctantly agreed as the guys kept talking about my safety. The tires were supposed to take 30 minutes. When I came back over an hour later, they hadn't started. I politely asked to skip the tires because I had to go to work and they were nice about it. The next day my tire light came on and I had to go another shop. I'm not sure if they did something or if in the rush to get me out the door they forgot to fill my current tires with air? The new shop told me I could wait a few months for new tires and fixed it so that my light went off. Moses never seems to disappoint. It started six months or so ago. We got an oil change for my fiance's car, and he mentioned: hey, your tires are worn down and your breaks could probably be replaced. But yeah, your oil is done. At the time we (moronically) just got our oil changed. We went to costco to get the tires changed, and just went on with our lives. Didn't forget anything, did we? Then for the past month, the car was making all sorts of crazy noises. Noises backing up, noises accelerating, noises breaking, noises turning. I had no idea what was going on. The world was ending. He could have told me anything was wrong with it (because I'm a moron), but I just drove up and he said, "sounds like something is wrong with your breaks." Turns out he was completely right. He replaced them, gave us a discount, and I paid a few hundred less than I anticipated. Pro's: - Very kind customer service, Moses is the best - quick! Never had to wait more than a few hours - Close to my apartment (yes, that's a pro) - never feels like I'm being taken advantage of, he always double checks before working on the car, upfront about cars - Cheaper than most places as well Con's: - He's busy. Call ahead if you can, try to show up early - Sometimes he is late to work. Be Aware! After receiving coupon for oil change in Value Pack, I called and made an appointment to take my car the next day. When I got there I was told they do not have the oil to perform the service! I asked them why they told me to go there next day, I was told the person who made the appointment did not know about the inventory of the oil! Therefore I had to go all the way back to my home with my ride driving behind me, and loose part of my work day. I suspect, they did not want to perform the service because of the %50 off coupon. This place is more of a scam than anything else. I will definitely not go back there, and will NOT recommend them. read more
