This is our local pizza/bar/music joint for the past 15 years. So I'll rate it on the local pizza/bar/music scale. Food first, pretty good if you avoid the frozen crap like fried shrimp, fried cheese stuff. The prepared dishes that they make are pretty good. Every once in a blue moon they do a pastrami sandwich special and that is phenomenal! Katz deli kinda of phenomenal. The pizza is fairly meh. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it mushy with 1/2 cooked dough but usually it's ok. The bar scene is pleasant but the mixed drinks are small. They have a decent selection of beers. The decor is standard for a local pizza/bar/music establishment and the staff has always be attentive in my experience. The manager is a great guy. They usually have a band or group on Fridays ranging from local talent to some pretty serious high quality acts. Always fun and it's not an expensive nite out so thumbs up for that. read more

We were walking back to our hotel after dinner and heard music coming from this bar/restaurant. My wife and I stopped by for a drink and to listen to the trio. We can't remember the bands name, but they were great. Unfortunately, we got there with only about 30 minutes of music left in there set. Based on Yelp reviews, we stopped off for a late dinner. Easy to find, thanks to the gps, we found parking right in front. The place was roomy, and we sat ourselves at a table. We waited quite a bit, but it appeared there was only one waitress running around. When she had a chance, she stopped by, wiped our table and gave us the menus. We quickly agreed on a pizza and sodas and placed this order. Took a look around and saw about three other couples enjoying their meal. Our pizza was delivered piping hot. Tasted real good. I ordered a Stromboli and got a calzone. It was nearly burned on the bottom and very greasy. No broccoli, which I ordered as an extra. My garden salad, was just a bunch of browning iceberg lettuce, two tiny cherry tomatoes and a few slices of onion. All around a hugely disappointing take-out meal. Pretty much inedible. In the future, I'll stick to pizza, though some of the pasta dishes looked inviting, and I won't do takeout. I'll skip the salad too. It WAS Saturday night, and the place was screaming loud. I stopped I. Owego on a business trip. This is a great small town with a proud history I ordered a Calzone to go. Then I realized there was an attached bar. Won't go back. If you have a wing special and normally include bleu cheese and celery with your wings you should tell your customers when you decide to charge for it. I ordered six dozen wings tonight. Two people at the table use bleu cheese. I was asked if I wanted bleu cheese and said yes and was charged for six bleu cheese dressings. I mentioned this at the time of checkout and they said sorry but decided the extra few bucks was worth losing a customer I guess. Can't say I'd have come back for wings again anyhow. We visited this place for lunch on Tuesday. We were curious about it because there seemed to be another shop nearby that had the exact same name. However, since that one appeared to be emptied, I'm guessing it's the same restaurant that happened to move into a larger space. This place is spacious and our waitress was friendly. I ordered the $2.99 lunch special and it was a bargain as it consisted of 2 large slices of pizza and a medium soda. Their pizza is New York style and I two plain slices that I had were somewhat comparable to the pizza I had in Manhattan/Brooklyn while growing up. The only thing that was off was the crust as the dough appeared to be on the chewy side. I didn't mention the dough to my coworker until he remarked that the bread of his sub seemed unusually chewy. Hands down, the best NY pizza outside of Brooklyn. The most authentic tasting pizza I have found since I left nyc. All entrees are freshly made and very tasty. We are especially fond of the naked wings with medium sauce on the side to dip in. One evening, the owner Rob made me a fish dinner with red snapper, calamari, fresh tomatoes over pasta and it was heaven. Tonight's chicken parmigiana portion was simply huge, that I legitimately thought they used a turkey breast it was so huge, and there were two of them! Again, freshly breaded and made to order which was crispy and juicy. Freshly baked bread hot out of the oven when you sit down is yummy, but unfortunately they get their desserts from a mass produced outside source and is the only thing I wish would change. Service is always friendly, efficient and accommodating. As we are now regular customers, we always receive a warm greeting and a handshake from the boss. We enjoy their late Night dining hours! My husband Dave and I love to come here and relax or mostly get takeout after a long night at our shop. The waitresses are super friendly and courteous, and very attentive. Their homemade bread is delicious even though I can't eat it Dave has some once ina while, it smells and looks amazing and I remember when I could eat it it was scrumptious!
