    Espresso Martini

This place was highly recommended at a different stop along our way around the lake on Saturday. I am not a coffee drinker but was told they make the best espresso martinis. I have to say I was not disappointed and would order one again! My husband had a mule which was on point, as well. The place has a very cool vibe. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Recommend a stop if you're in the area.

Very nice bar! Our server was super friendly and even showed us how he made some of our favorite cocktails since it was a slower night. Not much offered for food as far as dinner but they do have small bites /cheese and meat. The Seneca cheese company is located inside. Definitely a great stop in Watkins glen

I visited this place when I was in Watkins Glenn for a weekend trip. We stopped in for a snack and a drink. The ordering process was a bit confusing, unless you were at the bar, then of course they served you. But outside or at the other tables you had to walk up to the bar and order yourself. We ordered a beer and the soft pretzels. Overall it was an average experience. We tried to ask the bartender about local beers and she wasn't sure. It would have been nice to have something that was specific to the area. This place is nice to stop in if you're by the area just for a relaxing drink or snack, just be prepared about the ordering process.

Great place to have some drinks -- the drink menu is very expansive. If you like Bourbon, this is your spot! Food menu is very small and has everything "cheesy." Food was good, but $18 for tomato soup and grilled cheese seemed a bit high to me. We visited on a Friday night -- someone brought us menus but we were told we had to place our order at the bar. It's a cute little place with seating and an outdoor patio upstairs. Parking is off street in a dirt lot right next to the restaurant.

I'll be generous and go with 4 stars but really like 3.5. We stopped here for dinner after reviewing their menu on line. I feel like there was a difference between the menu online and what was available in the establishment because there really was not much here for dinner. It's more like apps and cheese plates. We opted to each do a bowl of tomato bisque which was excellent and a cheese plate. The cheese plate was nicely presented but I wasn't really wowed by any of the cheeses. The wine flight of local reds was also similarly underwhelming. Lots of outdoor seating which was nice but there the music was kind of loud and clashed a bit with notion of enjoying wine and cheeses IMO. Service was fine and prices were fairly reasonable but I was hoping for more from this place in terms of food and wine. Not sure I'd return here.

Bourbon mania here!! Along with local and California wines. Artisanal cheeses galore. Spacious indoor and outdoor area. Great for groups.

We had a party of 7 and came here for a late lunch. It was pretty empty, just 2 other parties sitting at the bar. They also have a nice balcony area if you want to sit outside and see the lake. Everything was delicious here, we shared the ultimate cheese board and added charcuterie which was delicious. I also got the soft pretzel served with craft ale cheese and brew pub mustard which was so yummy. My friends also tried the tomato bisque & cheese toastie combo, the white cheddar mac and cheese, and the cheesecake. Everyone was scraping off the last bits and no crumbs were left behind! We also tried the Michael's Mule and Mudslide cocktails both of which were really good. Come Again? Yes! If I'm ever visiting the Finger Lakes again I'd be sure to stop by! We had a wonderful meal and everything was so tasty.

High fashion. Not a fav of old fashions, but third twist made with gin was so good!

The most amazing cocktails I've had in a long time and the biggest whiskey selection I've seen! Truly the best mixologist experience I've ever had. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Rooftop seating was a plus and great atmosphere at the bar. Loved it so much we went back the next night!

So glad we stopped here on our most recent trip to Watkins Glen. Such a great atmosphere with delicious drinks and assortment of all kinds of cheeses. My husband loves whiskey and they had many different choices along with wines and beer. Such a great find!

We stumbled upon this place as part of the First Friday wine tasting as tourists tonight. Bob was so nice to help us out - he gave us this great platter of cheeses to taste from. This place has an extensive beer list to choose from. Highly recommended!

    Cheese board and tomato bisque!!

Love this place! If you find Tomato bisque better than here tell me :) Amazing cheese board with perfect lake view from Patio. Quick service. Excellent bar

The macaroni and cheese here is INCREDIBLE! We stopped here after visiting Watkin's Glen for some like food and drinks. You will not go wrong with the Mac and cheese, the pizza was alright. I had a pomegranate martini which I loved. We also purchased some Buffalo cheese curds and salami to take with us. Both of those turned out to be tasty too. The owner was very friendly, he gave us several recommendations for the area while we were visiting for a long weekend. I would come back here!

Of course, the Finger Lakes are KNOWN for wine so we're just thinking we're making reservations for a wine bar (with "speakeasy" vibes). Which that would've been totally cool with us. After continuous back and forth, changing our reservations 50 million times, adding and taking people out, we finally made it to Vinifera on a Friday night and were super apologetic since we had to make yet another change. The staff was absolutely incredible and accommodating, they made sure our party of 10 would be in the same room/table. The only "downfall" was that we'd have to share the room with another small party. Which was absolutely not a problem and we ended up being BFF'S with them by the end of the night. We met the owner Jim - the most incredible human - and he took us down to the speakeasy (which passes right through a super secretive door in the back of the main room upstairs). Side note - the main room upstairs is a vibe on it's own btw and we would've been absolutely fine and happy there. It's an actual wine store and you can purchase all kind of local wines. Be sure to ask and get all the recommendations you want. Not only did we get to enjoy an incredible time but we got a super cool VIP experience and learned the story and so much history about this place, the concept, the origin and what sparked the idea of creating it. That itself, was a treat. On to the actual speakeasy experience. When you go downstairs (through that fun super cool super secretive door) - you're instantly transported to another era, another time. It's dark, it's velvety, chandeliers, spiderwebs (the aesthetic kind, idk if there were actually any but it fit the vibe in my head), Leonardo Da Vinci, Mona Lisa, candles, curtains. There are two super cool rooms, one to the right (which is where our large party sat at) and one to the left - totally recommended for smaller groups, it's cozy, it's chill, you can interact and share with other guests too. Just by this, I'm wowed. As if this wasn't enough, the drinks were absolutely incredible. I ended up ordering some kind of a smoked drink and they happily substituted the regular old fashioned for mezcal. What a dream. Everyone was happy with their drink orders, some ordered some off the menu things and they happily made them - even though they technically only serve what's on the menu. Wine flights are also available if you're in the wine vibe. Bottom line: we loved this place SO much, we came back 2 night's later for our last night. We sat in the other room and absolutely loved and enjoyed it. I had a lavender drink and it was delish. This place is a GEM and you should absolutely check it out and support it if you're in the area. If you're not, well now you have a place I know you'll love to go to!

Right at the base of Seneca Lake, they have beautiful views of the lake (especially from their outside seating). The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, and the service was great. We enjoyed our beers (they had plenty to choose from), and the food menu is great. Unfortunately, they were out of a few things on the menu (the first beer I ordered and the salmon belly BLT), but we really enjoyed the shrimp burger (shrimp patty with lettuce, tomato, sliced avocado, and Thai chili guava jam on a brioche bun) and some wontons filled with cheese, chicken, spinach, and artichoke (I can't find them on their online menu, so can't remember what they were called). I really appreciated that they had some traditional brewery pub dishes with some less expected, fun (and seafood) dishes as well! With plenty of parking by the restaurant, this spot was a great choice for our lunch in Watkins Glen.
