Owl and Lark is a must try in the La Grange area! It continues to be one of my favorite coffee shops in the west suburbs. I always look forward to being in the area knowing I can get a coffee as a treat. The inside has a modern/boho vibe wish some table and lounge chair seating. I love the mix of textures, fun lighting, and all the plants they have! My favorite lattes are the Rose Cardamom and Lavender Honey Latte; it's never easy to choose! This visit, I chose the Rose Cardamom 12oz latte which comes with fresh rose petals on top! The flavor bursts with every sip and never has the overly syrupy notes as you get to the bottom. Their food always looks yummy and I'm making a note to try next visit. Could not recommend trying Owl & Lark enough! Its definitely in my top five coffee spot in Chicagoland!

Great place to go and do some work or spend time with another. Try the coconut matcha latte, it's so good. Same with the honey lavender latte ! Both are my go to drinks :) It can get loud sometimes, but other than that the environment is chill. Employees are also chill and understanding. Quick to receive and make your order to completion.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend to catch up. She has been here plenty of times and ordered her go to, an iced vanilla latte. The also ordered a slice of banana bread as well. She said the latte was good; nothing special but solid. However, she did not like the banana bread. She said it did not have a very prominent "banana flavor" and that the texture seemed off. I ordered the peanut butter smoothie bowl, which was topped with coconut flakes, granola, and sliced almonds. It was good, but I probably would not order it again as it was a bit too runny and almost $20. I cannot say much in terms of service. You place your order at the counter and then go up to pick it up. The girls working were very nice though. The ambiance was quiet and the cooler color palette makes it a calm space to either get some work done or talk with friends. If you are in the area and need a quick snack, maybe check it out. I would not go out of my way though.

Going somewhere else and I came across this coffee shop in LaGrange. It's one of a few in town, and one of the best to be sure. Owl And Lark has lots of coffees to choose from, as well as açaí bowls and healthy things like that. For the quality the prices are pretty good. The inside isn't that big, but there's enough room for some comfortable seats to sit and relax. As expected, it's busy early. It still wasn't that long to place an order. There also wasn't that long of a wait to get my stuff. It's about $5 for one of the best drinks, the Coconut Matcha Latte. Really soothing. Also it has a cool color. There's also food. It's about $12 for the smoothie bowls. Many good ones. The Peanut Butter Bowl was full of flavor and protein. Good breakfast. This was almond milk, bananas, peanut butter and vanilla puréed together, then topped with agave, almonds, bananas, cacao nibs, coconut flakes, and granola. For sure it's among the best places in town for breakfast. It also has things like salads for lunch. There's always something healthy including many choices for vegans and vegetarians.

We learned our lesson. You need to arrive at coffee shops early if you want a seat. Well, 9am on a cold, wet Saturday morning, we had perfect timing. This place is small as most are, but there's extremely limited seating. When people are waiting for their takeout orders, they're practically on top of you. This is due to how busy they are, just a FYI. As for the food, I got a peanut butter bowl, muffin, and a 12oz mocha. Everything was huge. There's a lot of food. The muffin was delicious, the peanut butter bowl was filling, and the coffee was good, too. Service was friendly, but it can get confusing because they call your order items, but not customer names or numbers.

Nice atmosphere, good amount of seating. $10 for a smoothie. I got the green passion. It had too much ginger, it overpowered the smoothie. I was glad to get some vegetables in. Would try coffee next time!

Very cool shop it's on the smaller end but it seats I would say at least 15 people at a time the baristas and the cashiers were so nice. The coffee was amazing. The baked goods looked great and they had a small freezer for specialty drinks as well. Parking is rare as this is in the heart of downtown Lagrange but there is a garage walking distance. Great art, lots of plants which is right up my alley. Cannot wait to return.

I got a soecialty drink, the coconut matcha. This was so good - a perfect balance of coconut and matcha! The cafe is really cute too with some tables to get work done but it is small, so keep that in mind. I'd recommend trying them out if you're ever in the La Grange area!

Always a buzz here

Owl & Lark is a coffee shop with 3 other coffee shops in the same block: Starbucks, BlackBerry market and Wheelys. This is by far my favorite though! The strawberry matcha is delightful and my favorite drink here! The baristas are polite but not over chatty. This spot is always busy, not can't-hear-your-conversation loud but definitely always folks here chatting. This is not a place where you'll find people on their computers though! It's always people chatting, conversing and catching up. Bathrooms are hidden back by the ivy wall. The plants in here are the loveliest touch- so green and full of life!

Love the vibe and aesthetics of Owl and Lark. Upon entering the cafe you feel relaxed and at ease with the love greenery and earth tones. They have a large menu--so there's something for everyone. I tried the butterfly lemonade and while it was flavorful (and purple!) it wasn't my particular taste. We also tried the Vietnamese coffee, which was delicious.

Was in la grange with my siblings and my brother suggested we stop here, glad he did cause we loved it! I can be particular about matchas, this one was amazing! I got a coconut matcha with macadamia nut milk and it was so delicious. We also shared a lemon bar! My sister got a black tea too which she liked, and my brother had a ginger shot. Limited seating in here but it is super cute. Glad we stopped by!

I absolutely love their iced mochas! They add the perfect amount of their home-made chocolate. It is amazing! I highly recommend.
