The only thing to be aware of is that the house is close to the freeway, so there is some traffic noise. It truly felt like a great home base for our time in San Diego, and we would happily recommend it to friends! Not the greatest, this place did not live up to the expectation of how a resort should be. Complaint 1, The Icemaker in our fridge was spitting out 2 ice cubes every 4hrs. By the time morning came. I only had only 7 ice cubes. There is no other ice machines in the area. Complaint 2, this was a big one for me. Local channels were not available on their cable network! I wanted to watch the NBA FINALS which was being televised on ABC. This is unacceptable! Even their network is lagging. The response time is terrible. I had to download an app just because this Resort does not accommodate local channels as part of their cable network. This is a must. Unacceptable coming from a Resort. Complaint 3, the USB ports were not working properly! Only 1 USB outlet worked out of the 8. So annoying. Complaint 4, Went swimming and had to dry my clothes. The dryer was not getting hot. My clothes were not drying. Unacceptable Most part, this Resort has potential to be great due to its location. The amenities really is not the greatest, if it is not being maintained. Staff is friendly. You get charged by the day for parking. The swimming pool is tiny. There are over 400 rooms and this is the best this resort has to offer.. at tiny pool with a tiny recreation workout room and small jacuzzi. Overall, nice location and clean resort. This place can use some maintenance and upgrades to accommodate their guest. I am neutral..since my experience was not to good. But eventually will give it another go in the future. I was impressed with all the little extras like organic soap (made locally), luxurious shower with two different heads, reverse osmosis drinking water, free wi-fi and cable. It was also nice to get to do my laundry there (another freebie) while sitting in the hammock under an amazingly fragrant trumpet tree. It felt good to know that the owner of this property cares enough about the environment to install solar panels on this property. When was the last time you noticed solar panels on the local Marriott? The location to this place was so conveniently located to Balboa Park as well as South and North Park my girlfriend and I usually just rode our bikes. I can't wait for my return trip to San Diego because I will be definitely staying at the Eco Studio again. Thank you to the extremely hospitable Sean for making our San Diego stay so memorable!

Jefferson at Carmel Mountain Ranch, a Greystar property, refuses to get dumpster emptied daily…read more Only willing to do it every other day. All dumpsters on the property overflow daily, and the property has rats. Staff claim people intentionally overflow dumpsters, and post signs instructing residents to use a different dumpster if one is full, but they're all full. I have photos I've taken daily to prove staff is complicit in maintaining status quo despite overflow and rats. Residents cannot open windows due to the smell.
