Im a tenant at one of the properties they manage in Chula Vista been living at this property for 4 months and I had nothing but issues since the beginning. They seem to not care about tenants, maintenance request take weeks if not months to get done Im still waiting for them to fix the shower seal. 3 toilets had leaks, washer inside townhome was rusted, dishwasher rusted, one bedroom didn't have light because fan ceiling and light were broken with missing control had to be calling everyday, I can go on......and now on Thursday November 20 at 9:30am we notified them that we did not have hot water in the property and they never responded. It was not until we called them that they sent us a plumber and he said the water heater had to be replaced. Today, another plumber came to "complete the repair" and he told us the same "Water heater needs to be replaced" why do they send another plumber instead of replacing it???? . Now we don't have water on all 3 showers, still no hot water. We called maintenance and they said until Monday it was going to get replaced (Im doubtful). Thats 4 days without hot water in the property. Very frustrating, they lack communication with tenants. I read other comments and I wished I had read them before signing a 1 year lease with them. We are having the unfortunate experience of renting from Bridgehaus Property Managers who are displaying an astonishing lack of professionalism, responsibility, and basic human decency. This review serves as a warning to potential tenants who are considering renting from them. From the moment we moved into the rental property, we encountered numerous existing issues that required attention. However, despite repeated attempts to contact the landlord, I was met with complete silence on most occasions. My calls and texts went unanswered, and the few times I managed to schedule an appointment, the "Maintence coordinator" was a no-show without any prior notice or explanation. The state of the rental property was dismal, missing trim work in areas with exposed nails, carpets which were supposedly cleaned prior to moving in weren't and wreaked of animal urine/pet dander, lights flicking or just not working at all, missing screen door that was left against the side of the house, and an ant infestation... the list goes on. I provided detailed reports of these problems, accompanied by photographic evidence, but my concerns were blatantly disregarded. It became painfully clear that the landlord had no interest in maintaining the property or addressing the concerns of not just ours, but the owner of the property. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from BridgeHaus Property Management to think twice. The negligent behavior, lack of communication, and failure to address maintenance issues make for an unbearable living situation. Save yourself the headache and find a landlord who respects their tenants and takes their responsibilities seriously. Bridgehaus Property Managers are irresponsible and unresponsive individuals who have no regard for their tenants. Their failure to address maintenance issues, unavailability, and complete lack of professionalism make them unworthy of being a landlord. As another review stated Bridegahus is not military/veteran friendly and that should be believed. We had the unfortunate circumstance of being a BridgeHaus client after our landlord switched property management companies. Some repairs took well over a month to get fixed (new garage door and dishwasher heating element needed fixed). They said they contacted vendors but we never heard from them until we kept reaching out. The dishwasher vendor said it took over 2 weeks for BridgeHaus to return their call and to approve the fix. The last few days of living in our rental they had a locksmith come to change the locks. BridgeHaus told him the property was vacant and to change the locks. He tried calling BridgeHaus and couldn't get through. They seem to lie to vendors as well. The real issues started when we were planning to move and the security deposit. California law states they have 21 days to release the security deposit along with any receipts/reasons for deductions. We didn't get that until 26 days and we had to ask for the receipts. One of the things they charged us for is half the repainting of the house. According to April Yates, a rude employee, said that's customary for landlords/tenants to split the payment. That's absolutely false. We lived in the property for 3.5 years and it's normal for a house to have to be repainted anyways. Our pet deposit was missing and no mention of it from BridgeHaus. According to owner Brittny brown it's our fault for not bringing it to their attention in the first place. She lacks accountability and doesn't require it for employees either. It took over 3.5 months to get our security deposit back from them. Brittany and team absolutely know what they're doing in dragging out this process knowing that military members can't always fly back to fight in small claims court. Save yourself the hassle and do not rent from them. It also seems they get friends & family to write false reviews on google. Yelp & BBB have more honest reviews. read more

As new owners of our first rental property, we were skeptical of paying for a property manager. Let me just tell you... we are SOOO thankful that we did!!! Bridgehaus offers the best customer service for our tenants and my wife/me. We have never had to worry about a thing and are super glad to not take on the extra hassle of managing our own property. I am really astonished that BridgeHaus has the glowing reviews that it does, but upon further inspection they seem to be from all people who use them to manage their properties, not from the actual tenants themselves. We have had the worst experience with them from a renters standpoint. We moved in to a beautiful condo in Cortez Hill that naturally looked move in ready. After we moved in, we noticed several things wrong with the place such as blinds with mold, lights not working, mold and debris in the ice maker, drains that were clogged, antiquated thermostat, etc. We put in a ton of maintenance requests and most of them were taken care of; however, we were told the moldy blinds wouldn't be able to be replaced because technically the owner didn't have to supply them and we would have to pay for replacement if we really wanted it. In addition, our dining room light doesn't work. We put that maintenance request in in August and it still has yet to be fixed 3 months later. They finally sent a maintenance guy out to assess the problem after we tried to troubleshoot it ourselves and numerous calls to BridgeHaus. We were told it was a problem with the fixture, it would need to be replaced, and they would have to get approval from the owner. We have called multiple times to no avail. BridgeHause repeatedly gives some excuse about not knowing what the hold up is and say they will call us back but never do. They have a complete lack of communication which is extremely frustrating as we are unable to use an entire room in our condo until this issue is fixed. I would caution all to consider renting from a different management company as they clearly have a lack of consideration and do not put their tenants satisfaction first as they claim. read more

SO far the worst property management company I had to work with. From the beginning we encountered problems, that should have been a sufficient red flag, but in our situation at a time we needed to take the hook. As we were moving from out of state, they raised the rent on us even before we moved in due to increasing HOA and management fees, then again within a year of us living there. Any maintenance issues were disregarded completely or not taken care of in a timely manner. We have been out of a washer/dryer for over a month now, which is included in the premium price we pay. On the other hand they request you to do your rent check, which we all marked the issues, but obviously they do not care. Recently was the second time some homeless broke into our patio, the first time they took my expensive bike. Guess what, noone cared about that either. Please, whataver you do, save your money and time and do not rent from these people. They are the WORST and the prime example of taking your money, but not caring about any tenants. read more

Absolutely miserable experience with them, AC units were broken, leaking puddles of water upon moving in, had to call multiple times to have them seen, took weeks for them to figure anything out. The address was never updated for access to WIFI from local providers. BridgeHaus rents out the surrounding units as air bnb so those people would constantly take our parking spot and use our trash cans. When the issues were brought up and I asked if we're expected to pay for full price for the month for them not delivering on the things they advertised, they gave me an unprofessional attitude and refused to answer because my girlfriends name was the only one on the lease. The place had things falling apart like 2 days into the move due to bad craftsmanship. As of now I could not recommend leasing from this company. read more

I was renting a condo from someone who decided to switch over to Bridgehaus Property Managers. Less than a year since my landlord hired Bridgehaus we were given notice that we would need to move out within 2 months because our landlord was supposedly "moving back in"(we know they just wanted us out to raise the rent...which is very much illegal) This was considered a no fault just cause eviction. We were not given any relocation assistance and know we were taken advantage of. The issues was brought up to the attention of Bridgehaus but we were shrugged off. They have poor communication and rob people with the applications fees just to get a chance to apply for a property. For 2 female graduate students with excellent rental histories, they charged $168 fee for a chance to get property. The credit check was outstanding with the household income significantly exceeding the minimum requirement. The reason given "oh sorry, we picked someone else". $168!!! Seriously? I own properties in Monterey which I have a property management company running. I have co-signed for my 3 adult children for years. This is by far the most unethical property management company I have ever interacted with. read more
