Happy nails is not the main place where I go to get my nails done, but I do like to go here and there. The reasons are 1. There's a credit card fee that they didn't have before 2. It is usually wayyyy too packed, especially if you go on a weekend. However, I went on a Thursday afternoon and there weren't too many people there. Both my mom and I were able to get dip manicures done in under an hour. I'm really happy with the outcome. Kevin did an amazing job with my nails and he was super kind! read more

Have been going here since they opened and I have nothing but positive words. The nail techs are AMAZING, they remeber you and are personable. I never go with anyone specific in mind to do my nails and everytime I've been happy. Longest I've ever waited on a walk in was 15 minutes on a busy Saturday. Came in for a pedicure, was a little concerned when the tools were laying around but didn't give it too much thought, by the end of the night two toes were red and swollen... sprayed them with antiseptic and oh the burning... definitely an infection brewing, I won't be back. read more

Been here once or twice and it wasn't the greatest but out of convenience my friend and I decide to give them one last try. We're both really sorry I did. The girl that did my nails was nice enough but seemed extremely rushed and was really rough. My dip nails turned out OK but I have cuts on every single one of my fingers. I'm understanding... I had a 9:00 am appointment for a mani/pedi with Tina. After waiting for the door to open at 9:10 I waited for Tina to get there at 9:30. After my manicure I was told by the owner to make another appointment for a pedicure since the chairs were all taken. 4 people didn't even have a nail tech (nor a 9am appointment) and they were just sitting there in the chairs taking up space. He said "what do you want me to do, kick somebody out?" I wanted him to keep my appointment I had made 3 weeks earlier. I was offered nothing as compensation. Not even a glass of water. Nails was basic nothing great and charged 100 for gel pedicure and full in . The lady cut my cuticles till the bled and stung and told me I'll be ok. Then we I went to give her a tip turned her nose up and said to keep it I needed it more than her lol after paying 100 for basic job. I went in to get me and both of my kids nails done when I usually go to nail care systems in Delaware but wanted to keep it local today and after explaining what I wanted they didn't have anything that could do any designs I wanted. So I let my 15 year old daughter get her nails done and my other child got a quick pedicure. After the pedicure was don't I informed my child and manager that I would be outside waiting for my daughter and that she has the money to pay for what she wants. The manger waits for me to leave to the approach and embarrass my 15 year by insinuating that she would not be able to afford her nails in front of those in the store making her feel uncomfortable and canceling getting her pedi. My daughter comes out to me in tears about the encounter she had with the guy that I had to go in and say something to this man who at first tried to deny the whole incident had occurred. But not only that the design done in stones look nothing like the picture to me compared to where I go it was a trashy job. Overall horrible experience... I will pay high prices for amazing service and designs at Nail Care Systems then to deal with the trashy way they treated my daughter. read more

Now that they think they have the right to ask to see my vaccine card is enough for me to turn around , walk out, and never return. Easily one of the worst mani/pedi I ever received. I got the mani done first and the tech pulls out a case with tools that clearly were dirty. I saw nail file shavings/dust in the bottom of the case and pointed it out. I asked if the tools were clean and the tech said they clean them before using. (Why not after using so they're not sitting in bacteria?) So she then proceeded to spray them with some unknown liquid and wiped them with a rag. Now why I stayed for the pedicure is something I still regret. I wanted to leave before the manicure was finished, but I was with a friend who goes there regularly. Luckily my nails were fine and it was a decent enough job. I shouldn't have stayed for the pedicure, though! For one, it was way overpriced. When I got home, I noticed the polish was not applied evenly on most nails. The tech either missed spots or got polish on my skin. And now I have a problem with the skin on the bottom of one foot. I honestly can't prove it's from the salon, but it's the most likely cause. If I had to pick three words to describe this place, they would be unsanitary, expensive, and mediocre. read more

I've been here three times. The first time was when they were newly opened for a pedicure. It was good enough that I went back for a manicure. That visit was less than stellar. I wasn't greeted, I was seated at a table and then sat there, for forty minutes waiting!! And I'd called ahead for an "appointment!" How the mind forgets. That was over a year ago. Yesterday, I went in for a French manicure and partial wax. Again, not greeted. Seated... And again wanted without being advised for how long. Twenty minutes later I was ready to leave when a stylist finally came. She was friendly and attentive to detail. I didn't get gels... 24 hours later only two of my ten nails are not chipped. I guess I should wear gloves to shower?? Won't be back. read more

Poor health habits. This facility is using instruments without proper sterilization and cleaning. They are putting used instruments in the same plastic sterilization packs they came out of, immediately after using it on someones feet/nails, then proceed to use it on someone else under false pretenses that it is a new pack. There is no seal to be broken like in reputable facilities and the same bags are being reused throughout the day. In addition, they pull out cheese graders to scrape the dead skin from peoples feet, and this is definitely a no no and 100% not being cleaned between patrons. A swish of the grader in the spa bath water and then put back in the basket is atrocious. The customer service of the male receptionist is lacking and one nail technician "Anna" is rude and unprofessional. I asked that she fix an issue I spotted with the painting of my nail and she mumbled under her breath because she didn't think I could understand her reasoning as to why in her mind there was nothing wrong with the paint on MY toe. The health department/ licensing agency needs to look into this place's day to day practices before someone seriously gets injured or obtains a staph infection from their cheese graders. read more

I highly recommend this place, everyone greets you and makes you feel welcome. Staff are nice and funny. They get supper busy and crowded really fast because they do an fantastic job WHICH EXPLAINS THE CROWD. They are reasonable people so if you have a chip nail, polish peeling or whatever just let them know and they'll fix it for you. If I could give a zero star I would! The man who runs this shop is SO rude and pretends not to understand english. The first time I went in they ripped my toe nails up so badly that I bled for a few days ... I was desperate and went back thinking I would give them one more chance months later - my full set of tips with gel that costs more are breaking and falling off not even a week later!!! I am SO done with this place. Go somewhere else, even if you have to drive a little further to get there - I wouldn't go here again if it was free! read more

Took forever to be waited on and the guy kept stopping and doing something else. Was there for over an 1 1/2 just getting a full set.

The service was great, the guy who did my nails was very nice and accommodating. However, the qualify of the nails are the worse I have ever received. Only four days after getting the acrylics, my nail broke in half. A week later, two more nails came off. I have not done anything strenuous for them to come off so easily. As of today, a total of five nails are broken (less than two weeks later). This has really damaged my nails and I would not recommend anyone to go here. read more
