Blain from Gold Standard Floor care was fantastic. We called him to come take a look at our master bathroom shower tile and grout which had some black mold and the red mold also. The store bought tile and grout cleaners just weren't even making dent for removal of the mold spots. Blain came in with his high powered water jet cleaner and some other penetrating products and made the shower, tile and grout look like new. He's VERY thorough and did a awesome job in restoring the grout and removing the stains. He even re-caulked around the shower pan and all the other necessary places. Cannot, cannot, canNOT recommend Blain and Gold Standard Floor Care enough. He is so responsible and knowledgable, he makes everyone else look really terrible. Our house was set to go on the market on a Friday, painting was to be done by Monday or Tuesday inside, house cleaning Wednesday, tile and carpets Thursday. I scheduled with Gold Standard and Blaine made me feel very comfortable that he was set with his schedule, he knows his own schedule, and he was not a flake. As the house was going on the market, you can imagine how important that was to me, I was a bit of a nervous wreck, let me tell you. Thursday Blain showed up on time and called to let me know he was at the house (my husband was out for a minute so had left the door open). Blain wanted to be sure and talk to me before going in the house, which was very professional. As Blain was cleaning, his machine broke down. He called me as well as talked to my husband so we both knew, and he took the machine to be fixed. He told us he would not wait more than a couple hours (it was still early afternoon) before getting a backup person to do the work so it would still be dry by evening. The machine DID get fixed and he finished working just a couple hours behind his planned time. Because of the "delay", he apologized, which surprised me as I know things break and yet he was prepared with contingency plans and got the job done. Blain, can you please allow yourself to be cloned and run lots of different businesses because you set the standard for how things should be DONE. The tiles and grout looked as good as they ever could (grout is old and cheap, but some of it that was not too damaged did clean up nicely) and the carpets were (a) clean! and (b) dry by night. He has services for carpet care and floor care too -- he cleans and then has long-term care things, we did not use those as we are moving but I will absolutely hire Gold Standard when we move. read more

Description Of Work: Carpet cleaned in LR and 3BRs. Tile/grout cleaned in Kitchen. Granite cleaned and sealed. Couch upholstery, 2 chairs and throw pillows cleaned. We have owned this house for 10 years and have had several different companies clean our floors throughout the years. This service was by far the best job we've had done and we are recommending him to all our neighbors. Member Comments: Showed up on time, set up his equipment taking care to insure the hoses did not scrape corner of walls (used corner protectors) and wood floor did not get scuffed (using floor mats). Utilizing a van-mount system, I was surprised by the actual carpet cleaner that had a rotating head design. It did a much better job than the standard wand-system we've seen other companies use in the past. Once an area was done, (including Scotchguard) a large fan was deployed to accelerate the drying process. Carpet was dry enough to walk on within 30 minutes and fully dry within 2 hours. Tile was cleaned using a special cleaner and good, old-fashioned elbow-grease. Blain worked each grout line with a wire brush after applying the "Viper Venom" and then ran the rotating head cleaner over each tile to shine everything up. Grouts lines were then sealed by hand using a simple foam brush. Looked like new. Granite was cleaned, polished, and sealed. Blain left a buff towel and daily cleaner for us to use afterwards for our day-to-day cleanups Upholstery was cleaned and my wife was very happy with the smell of the furniture. Apparently, this was WAY past due. All-in-all, it was a long day but the extra time spent was well worth it when you compare the results to past experience. I wasn't disappointed in my previous carpet cleaning vendors, I just know I won't be paying less for a "quickie" cleaning in the future. read more

We had our porcelain tile floors cleaned today by Gold Standard Floor Care. The 18" tiles have pits in them to make them look like travertine. Nice effect, but the pits load up with dirt. Mopping does little to clean them. After requesting referrals from our neighbors on NextDoor, we chose Gold Standard Floor Care and are glad we did.
