She knew exactly where the one I wanted was. I love checking out all the low sugar or no sugar snacks. I was surprised to not see any low carb tortillas though. I bought some organic spices and pork chorizo. The spices were about $1-2 more than organic herbs and spices sold on regular grocery stores. The produce looked really nice. The Romaine lettuce was big, leafy and fresh looking for $3.99; the same price I paid for non-organic and subpar product at Red Barn Market that is close to me. I've also noticed that the hot bar food isn't always kept at proper temperature, which is concerning, especially for a place that emphasizes health and quality. Overall, Lassens has a lot of potential and some genuinely great employees, but consistency is an issue. Better staff training--especially around nutrition knowledge and customer service--would really improve the experience.
