I understand Improv classes are offered at different levels to prepare individuals to advance to higher levels of Improv. HIT is a performing arts theater. Tonight, the recent graduates of level 2 classes presented themselves to showcase what they learned as a group. HIT concession stand sells Merch (water bottles), bottled water, soft drinks, and snacks. Admission: $7.00 (to see one show) is collected at the concession stand, where snacks and soft drinks are available for purchase. It's also BYOB.

I really need to go a 2nd time to really review this place…read more I feel like it could be a hit or miss. I deff hit the improv theatre on a hit&miss night. I was SOOO EXCITED to go. I had only been to improv once when I was very young and was ready to really lMAO. The night started with the children show, which was so cute- I could have died. The kids kicked off the night with an interview style show. Which was great, I was guessing if the person being interviewed was part of the show or not because he was SOOOO FUNNY as well! Then the "real" show started- for the next 3 sets they followed the interview style show which was OKAY... but it got lame. It ended up focusing on one person, one point of view and it felt over played. I went into the night hoping to pee my pants, but instead just drunk the better half of a six pack (it is BOYB) and insisting on getting a night cap (which is also never a good idea). BUT I have an open mind and will update this review if I go again and do in-fact end up peeing my pants.

Well, that was interesting…read more The Good: This venue is very spacious and in a very rural part of PA. When I walked in with my family they had a very large ballroom completing Cowboy style line dancing. I am not knocking it, I would totally be down for line dancing, keeps you fit and I can say it is certainly something I have never done before. The Bad: I went to see the comedian, Kevin Nealon. I last saw him in Philadelphia over ten years ago and he was amazing last time. Would you believe he did the SAME act that he put on over a decade ago? He changed some of the jokes slightly, but I was kind of astounded he put on the same act! When he came on stage, he looked very high and I have to ask myself did he go to an old routine because he was high? Any who, my family who saw him enjoyed his act. One other qualm I had was whoever was instructing the cars to park would not allow us to come close to the venue to drop off people that have issues with mobility. The owner of the place did go on stage and was very friendly and did a short routine that was very welcoming, I would recommend if you are in the area to check it out. I do not think I will make it back to Pottstown, PA anytime soon but if you are in the area SoulJoel's could be a fun outting. As always people SYOY!!!

Then I found the Valley Forge Casino Resort. I would stay here again. The hotel was very clean. The sink was outside of the bathroom and the tub and toilet were a little cramped. We had issues with the TV and couldn't get anything the last night we were there. Although the hotel met our needs, it wasn't built for family vacationers. (The again it is a casino hotel). There is no business center. If you want a microwave for your room, it is a $35 upcharge. Also, there needed to be at least 1 more trash can in the room. The ice machines on some floors weren't working and one of the machines had an off taste. One advantage to the hotel is that there is a bus stop on the street outside our parking lot. We took the bus into town the days we went into town. The hotel is also near a large shopping mall.

As an exclusive slots player, they have a nice selection of slots. The casino is a little dark, but cool atmosphere. The people that come here are a bit snotty and unfriendly, but given the area that makes sense they just give off a very obnoxious vibe. There's nothing free here you can't even get a drink of water for free. I don't appreciate that. The slots are ridiculously tight of the four times I was here. I lost every time you can't win on anything you barely get a line hit on slots let alone a bonus. In for visits, I got two small bonuses under $20. That's ridiculous. I'm a minimum bet player if I have to be a high limit five to $10 a spin player just to make some even money at this casino then I don't belong here. On top of it, casinos in PA have some of the worst return to player percentage in the country Can't see how this casino could stay around in the future it doesn't have that much going for it
