Food was very flavorful and higher quality than most restaurants today. The chicken was tender and well-cooked but not dry. We especially liked the hummus. We got takeout so can't speak to the ambiance but it's a small little place. I ordered online and ordered small size for the gyro, chicken kebabs and appetizer falafel/hummus and large size hummus and tabbouleh. It came with extra pita bread, yogurt sauce, and a spicy sauce. I was ordering for 3 people for dinner and it was just barely enough food. It was $100, which I feel is insane. I meant to take pics but we were hungry and I was not able to. Also, the proportion of meat to rice is another reason I don't feel like it was worth the price. I don't mean to be disrespectful or rude, but I think there are certain cuisines one expects to be more on the budget friendly side. For $100 I expect more. We were craving for the "old school" shish kabobs that one would get from a Turkish food truck-so when in the area,discovered Oyaz and decided to try their wraps-they do come close! Two types of sauce come on a side (mild and spicy), and both beef/lamb and just lamb kabob wraps were flavorful and savory. Cafe is rather small,but has outdoor seating. Service was super quick. We really enjoyed the food. Everything was very flavorful and abundant. The falafel's were very unique being crunchy on the outside while soft in the middle, not hard like most places. Mainly a place for take out but we enjoyed one of the few tables inside. I am glad we didn't sit outside because of the heat wave followed by Typhoon winds and rain. Delicious! We were at the brewery across the street and got hungry and found this gem. I believe they are newish as I recall this spot being a different type of cuisine last year. My wife and I split the Oyaz Special which came with 2 types of chicken, lamb and gyro meat over rice with lettuce, tomato, pita and sauce for $35. When I opened the bag, it didn't seem like enough for 2 but as we started eating it was a lot of food, we actually had leftovers. The gyro meat was my favorite, but it was all very tasty. Wow! Stopped in for a quick lunch with a work colleague today and I'm so happy we did. The restaurant is small, and definitely geared towards takeout, but there is enough seating for about 10 people at 4 tables. Table is service is handled by the cashier. I got the shish kebab wrap and it was fantastic. The wrap was lightly toasted on the outside and inside were tender cubes of lamb, roasted onions, tomatoes and lettuce. The sauces were delicious. I'd suggest getting a side (we shared an order of fries) as the sandwiches come complete. This is a new regular spot for my work colleague and I'll certainly be back next time I'm in the area. read more

My fiancé picked this up today because we had no idea it was so close to us, and it was fantastic! I can only speak for my takeout experience, but it's some of the best I've had in this area. The hummus was silky smooth and I loved the falafel which isn't usually something I love. The chicken was so flavorful! We got a generous bag of premade pita (6 pitas) but my only critique is that I wish it was homemade pita. I can't wait to go back and try their baklava! read more

My wife and I were happy to hear a new Turkish restaurant opened in a neighboring town. The other night we gave it a try and were not disappointed. We ordered "to go" and everything was ready when we arrived. The staff were all very friendly. Similar to the Chinese restaurant that preceded it, the kitchen is in view so you watch them cooking if you find yourself waiting. We tried the hummus, baba ganoush, falafel apps and ordered the chicken kebab yogurt & Iskender kebab yogurt for our entrees. Everything was delicious. The hummus and baba ganoush were nice and creamy and went along perfectly with the extra pita they generously provided. The falafel had that nice crunchy outside while still soft on the inside. The dinners were cooked to perfection. The chicken with a nice char, the doner tender and tasty. If you're in the area and looking for some great Turkish cuisine, be sure to check this place out. An old friend and I stopped here for a late lunch and we were delighted. The restaurant is small but the food is great and well priced. I had a delicious lamb shish kebab and she had the adana kebab, with some chai tea to warm up on a cold day. I've never had better Turkish food in my life. The staff is so incredibly sweet and generous. They gave us free tea and Turkish delights! Couldn't say better things about this place - the restaurant is so cute and in a great location. What a hidden gem! We ate in the cozy restaurant which is open 7 days a week and open until 10 pm and until 10:30 on Friday and Saturday. We like to eat later so we are so happy to find Oyaz Turkish Grill. We started with the Falafel and hummus appetizer, definitely the BEST falafel I ever had. Delicious, crispy on outside, moist on inside, hummus was very good, lots of pita bread. Tzakiki sauce was good and there was also a hot spicy sauce served with endless supply of pita. Our server was so wonderful and we felt like guests in her home. We couldn't decide between chicken Adana and lamb shish kebab so we shared a large and had one skewer of each. Lamb was tender and perfectly spiced, chicken Adana was also very good. Enter came with rice and some salad which included some red onions and marinated red cabbage. We had the milk pudding called Kazandibi to share for dessert. Amazing food! This take-out tiny cafe opened a few weeks ago, and two of my neighbors highly recommended it. We ordered the mixed cold appetizer and the Oyaz Special entree. The order was ready in 20 minutes. Both dishes were large, combined enough food for three people. A small container of side vegetables and three small cups of sauces came with the order. Both dishes were delicious. Food was ok but had no great flavors. Everything seemed bland because as far as I can tell it was not prepared with enough salt and/or other spices and aromatics. I am not talking about oversalting but using enough of it to bring out the best flavors in the ingredients. The pita was very thin and did not stand up to the gyro because it crumbled and fell apart. The pita was of poor quality and did not taste fresh. The yogurt sauce for the gyro was watery and had no flavor. I will go back again and will try once more since this restaurant was recently opened. read more
