The birthday girl and family and friends!

I hosted a 50th birthday party for my daughter at Oyummy last night and it was fabulous! The food was delicious, the ambience was great as they put us in our own little section. Shout out to Cheyenne our waitress she was on top of everything and so patient with us and to John the owner for going above and beyond to make it all very special for my daughter. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Kathleen Sannizzaro

I was really craving walnut shrimp after golf and found this place. I thought it was very yummy, it was the perfect amount of sweetness and loved the walnut crunch. We also ended up getting beef stick (I thought it was good, my bf thought it was missing some sweetness), General Tso chicken, and beef lo mein. I thought it was all pretty good, nothing overly special, but still yummy! And my bf got the scorpion bowl for one and he said it was a quality, traditional scorpion bowl. I thought the service was really great, super attentive, and we'd definitely go again

The sushi is just okay. There are much better restaurants for sushi in the area. worst of all, there were metal staples inside of my maki roll. Not only is this gross but it's also incredibly dangerous. Won't be ordering from here again.

Service and food always great, gyoza amazing and the Golden roll is absolutely phenomenal

Our order of calamari vs. what was advertised. At most 5 pieces for $10.

This was our first time at the restaurant. The food was OK. But was disappointed by our appetizer. Picture says it all.

Came here on a whim for sushi. Crab Rangoon were good. Seaweed salad was tasty. Service was prompt and the drinks were delicious. Volcano roll was very spicy but good. Shrimp tempura roll was also good Overall 5 Star. Service was good compared to the reviews. It must be tough opening a restaurant and working out the kinks.

    Great service!

She forgot about my daughter's food, I ordered a kids meal and OJ, and then I changed it... and she said OJ cost way more...and then she forgot about my change - which she got mad it. Why am I paying 11% tip if I had to keep getting up to ask her for things? $12 tip? More like $5.... If that. Mandatory tip is bs.

We were a group of 6 people and were seated right away. They have an extensive menu for food and drinks. Everything is Japanese with some Peruvian flavours. For drinks half of us tried the fruit juices, made fresh. The other half opted for beer. The fruit juice was more like a smoothie. It was incredible and I would have definitely ordered more if I weren't full. It came in a strawberry and a pineapple flavour. I got the strawberry-ginger and it was very refreshing. For appetizers we got vegetable tempura, a shrimp wrapped in plantain tempura, and a chicken avocado tart of some sort. The veg tempura were meh but the rest of the appetizers were phenomenal. Especially the shrimp wrapped in plantain! For mains, some of us got seafood soba noodles, sushi and a fish dish. The food was pretty unique. The soba noodles did not look like soba, I think they used regular ramen noodles instead. However the sauce and seafood flavours were such a hit! Great find in Lawrence! Overall great experience. The service could be nicer. Will definitely be back for an after work dinner.

When I'm driving on route 495 in MA I sometimes take an exit to get some food, and find myself driving so many miles out of the way...which is very frustrating! I saw the logo for this restaurant on one of those blue highway signs that say what is off that exit. I was skeptical, and worried I would end up driving forever to find it. Not only was it easy to find, there were even directional signs off the highway telling you which way to turn. Love that! I was alone so I sat at the bar. This is clearly a family run restaurant. Two adorable kids were helping their mom ferry the take out orders from the kitchen to the front entry host area where the take out orders are picked up. "Asian bistro" which is in the name of the restaurant implies they have a variety of Asian cuisine...and this menu did not disappoint! It had Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean items! Love that! They have a great selection to choose from. The bar tender took my order quickly, and the food came out fast. The Singapore noodles came out before the sushi which I did not mind at all. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. I took home half the Singapore noodles, which reheated really well! The spicy tuna roll was better than super market sushi, but not quite as good as a Japanese specialty restaurant...right in the middle, totally adequate for an Asian bistro style restaurant. Same for the Singapore noodles. I would have liked them more if they had more curry and more spice, despite that I really enjoyed the noodles. The texture was great, and the proportions of noodles to egg/meat/onions was good....they had a generous amount of meat (shrimp, chicken, pork), but too much....just right! The decor inside could use a little love. The bar area has lots of screens, some with sports and some with keno. The restaurant itself is very basic no frills and rather dark. The bathrooms are updated and very clean. The outside needs a little curb appeal. The lilies they planted in the planters had already bloomed and had gone by...I'm sure they were spectacular for the short 1-2 weeks they are in bloom. Flowers that blooms all summer in those planters would go a long way to giving the restaurant a more welcoming entrance area. I can definitely see myself stopping here again next time I'm passing through.

I chose it because I was in the area and have long noted that it comes up often in regional groups when members ask for Chinese recs. Went with my usual move of a combo and an app. Chicken Wings (appetizer): An order of four connected wings, equivalent to 8 pieces, or closer to 10 if you factor in that they were gigantic. Crispness varied greatly, but tenderness and juiciness prevailed in every piece. Slight marinade presence, but also close to supermarket roasted chicken flavor. Size matters and juiciness matters more, so well above average. General Gau's Chicken (on a combo): Small bite-sized pieces. Sweet, gloppy orange sauce. Mild heat. Minimal crispness. Average; maybe even a little below, but doable. Egg Roll (on the combo): Standard exterior, mostly cabbage interior, with tiny specs of red pork. Not much flavor but good freshness and crunch. Possibly average for those tolerant of cabbage, but below average for the celery-only crowd. Pork Fried Rice (on the combo): Not bad, but not much pork, not much warmth, not much moisture, not much flavor. Not surprisingly, not much better than not quite average. Hot and Sour Soup (with the combo): Thin broth. Some spice, but more vinegar, and some soy. More meaty than mushroomy. Average or a bit below. Duck Sauce: Bears mentioning. Large syrup dispenser filled with a pink blush mixture that's probably blended apple sauce and grenadine. Not a disaster, but certainly not a triumph, especially considering the many recs. There's still plenty to like: lot parking, good value, and an exceptionally friendly bartender whose good cheer might put regulars in a good enough mood to make the food seem better. The wings showed enough potential to try again, maybe with ribs or teriyaki. And enough potential overall to try again, but if I'm picking places in the area, this one wouldn't be first.
