They are not your financial partners anymore; they will trap you into fees and not respond when account becomes inaccessible -- I have been on hold for the last half hour waiting to close my account, because they keep charging me fees. The institution has changed drastically in their ability to meet customers' needs. It is of no benefit to have an account with them. Tropical Financial Credit Union is no longer customer oriented or even friendly; they would do well to remember that customers should be at the center of their business plans. My partner was robbed at gun point in Fort Lauderdale a week ago and they took their phone. The robber then proceeded to jail break the phone and liquidate our accounts to over 4,000 dollars through Zelle and Apple Pay. We still haven't got our money back even though they know the transaction was fraud. We are very upset that there are no security provisions and thieves removed large amounts of money out of our accounts. Do better!

My brother has been a member since he joined the USMC, and as a retiree, uses them for most of his banking needs. With two branches in Miami, we went to the closest one to the Port of Miami. I'm a member too (through him), so I did some banking while we were there. A lot of the transactions can get complicated, so the wait can be a bit long. There is a greeter who asks how they could help...any personal banker needs is directed to sit down while waiting for one of five bankers to get free. Things that can be done with a teller, is directed to a single line with 2 tellers. Once I got to front, it didn't take very long, and the teller was very pleasant, apologizing for the wait. I was done quick, with my brother taking a bit longer. He later told me, it had been a pleasant exchange.
