Historic old business: 5/5 stars Service: 4/5 Buffet food: 3/5 Menu food: 3/5 We enjoyed the adventure, and the cobbler was great! But the buffet was picked over and the menu items we ordered were average (at best). We left disappointed.

Food was really good, large portions, and prices are reasonable. Service was great and all the girls are so nice. Ambiance was quiet. Definitely will stop by here again.

It's a cute place. The service was good, especially for a small town where sometimes it's hard to get employees. The food was good, but nothing to really write home about. The salad bar only had iceberg lettuce on it, but was relatively cheap. I had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese with 5 different cheeses in it. I do gotta say that their drink glasses are HUGE. The lemonade was delicious.

Not many places open on a Tuesday in Jaspar, but quaint homey place to enjoy a meal and some great fountain ice cream desserts. Service with a smile, courteous, friendly. Serving up some bigger entrees, lunch choices.

It's cute and fun, and in a historical building. Loved the staff and the ambiance. Food is pretty basic and simply prepared- standard American fare. Their milkshakes aren't great, but their ice cream sodas are delicious. Burgers are okay as well.

We wondered into Jasper exploring because the Buffalo was too high to float. Ozark Cafe was the only restaurant we could find open for lunch on a Tuesday. Their menu said they have the best veggie burger around and it did not disappoint. Black bean burger perfectly seasoned with lettuce, pickles tomato and onion on the side. Comes with your choice of fries. I went with the fresh cut. Cute restaurant. Friendly staff.

Spicy chicken sandwich with curly fries. Generous portions even while I was rummaging for fries on the way back to our cabin haha ‍

Sitting in this quaint little town is one of the absolutely best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delicious, flavorful, and an absolute generous portion. We also had the chili cheese burger and the beef was juicy, tender, and tasty. The chili alone made me want to drive right back into town for a second order! Haha The service and hospitality was super and our server made us feel more than welcomed! The ambiance was perfect. After a long day of chasing waterfalls, the dining room felt so cozy yet welcoming. My first time visiting such a tiny town and we can't wait to be back!

Great spot!! The nostalgia, the food, the service, ALL WONDERFUL!! we went in late Sunday evening with some friends to get some dinner while on a weekend getaway in the mountains, this little café, knocked our socks off!! There is something on the menu for everyone! If you're lucky enough to be in town on Sunday afternoon, they have a wonderful down home country buffet. But if what's your craving is a burger look no further. They have things you've never even heard of.!! Anna our waitress was an absolute doll!!

Ozark Cafè is an institution in and of itself. It's not nearly a meal. It's a destination. A definite must if you're traveling highway 7. One of the oldest continuous restaurants in the state of Arkansas. Southern comfort food such as chicken fried steak and fried chicken . Always friendly service. Take a step back in time. Many black & white photos framed on the wall.

The breakfast special is a great value

We stopped in for a quick break and grabbed coffee, hot chocolate, and a pastry. Everything hit the spot and was exactly what you want on a travel stop. One thing I really appreciated is that they have a separate line/cashier for food, which keeps things moving and makes the whole experience feel efficient, even when it's busy. The place itself was clean, the staff was super friendly, and service was quick. Overall, just a really solid stop to recharge before getting back on the road.

You could get an answer like "we are not allowed to tell you." That was recent will review that. In that case drive or run away! This is a cute place, unique and does have a sit down restaurant inside. We didn't do that but the menu is very nice, as what they are known for bread bakery items. The breads are out where you can look and purchase. Everything is fresh and fresh made. Recommend!

I recently returned a year after the first visit, and it hasn't changed a bit. The menu is extensive insofar as classic American fare is concerned, but this isn't the kind of place you'll find 4 clever variations on Eggs Benedict. Anything named after Benedict Arnold has no place in the Ozarks. A year ago, I ordered a western omelet, which commanded my attention and exertions for the better part of 20 minutes. The portions are definitely generous - the pancakes are the size of pizzas. If you're on Ozempic, either skip this place or confine yourself to a single slice of wheat toast. Some gals in the group demurely ordered half portions of biscuits and gravy, thinking a dainty portion would show dedication to preserving their girlish figures. These "half portions" filled the entire (largish) plate. I made a mental note to opt for this on any future visit, and that future arrived this week. Biscuits were country-good, and the gravy was substantial, not that watery stuff that is sometimes drizzled on Pillsbury-from-the-tube biscuits. If you're in Branson, head a little south of the dam to Hungry Hunter. Get there early, because this place is deservedly popular and there will probably be a wait. And the parking can be a bit contentious. It's not open on Monday or Tuesday.

There was something off-putting about the CFS. I didn't care for the coating or the gravy. I'd give it a 2/5. My stepmom gave it a 4/5. Her tastebuds are broken. My dad enjoyed his omelette and said the veggies were lightly sautéed and not greasy. The service was good. The wait was not worth the taste of the CFS, but honestly, 0 minutes of waiting is not worth the CFS. I typically love CFS, but in this case, I wish I had tried the French toast instead. Me: 2/5 (based solely on taste, 5/5 for portion size) Stepmom: 4/5 Dad: 5/5 then amended to 8/10, which is 4/5

We had the meatloaf sandwich which was moist and juicy perfected by just the right amount of mayo and large fresh juicy slices of tomatoes. We had a side of chili which had great flavor but a little bit too watery for my taste and definitely not warm enough for me. On our way out we grabbed some apple butter and peach whiskey butter. And of course after eyeing the dessert we went with the carrot cake and 2 cookies because we couldn't decide. The carrot cake was moist and flavorful and crunchy and smooth frosting was perfection. By far the best carrot cake I've ever had. The cookies were snickerdoodle and blueberry lemon and white chocolate.
