My favorite coffee shop in Boulder!! I stopped in multiple times when I was in town, and ordered my usual cold brew with a splash of oat - it was AMAZING -- smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I ended up buying several bags of Ozo's own micro-roasted beans, so far all have been just as fantastic at home as the cold brew - bright, aromatic, and bursting with complex flavor. We went here because of the suggestion from Reddit. This location is in a nice small shopping center next to Snarf's. Plenty of parking. We walked in and saw the sign for the Pumpkin Graham Latte and decided to give it a try. Let me share a little "secret" with you: Ozo is known for their Mochas... so do yourself a favor and order one! Don't order lattes or Cortados.. They offer a variety of unique flavor combos. Personal favorite is an iced almond joy. They are not overly sweet like the usual traditional mochas you might be used to. Here, their perfectly balanced and rich without being overwhelming. If you've ever had Philz Coffee in LA, Ozo's mochas have a similar magic to them. Their iced drinks come in a hot cup which is a plus. Delicious oat milk latte and they're pretty consistent about it. This location can get pretty busy as it's in a strip mall with a variety of other businesses and the construction on Arapahoe this summer (2024) definitely make entering the exiting the parking lot slightly more chaotic. It's typically pretty busy here the times I've been in, with most of the foot traffic being take out. Drinks are made pretty quickly considering the volume they get, regardless of the time of day. I'm not sure I'd decide to do work here though it's pretty loud in the shop but it's perfectly adequate for grabbing a coffee before moving on to the rest of what you need to do in Boulder. read more

Ozo Coffee will take your morning coffee game or mid-day coffee pick me up to another level! My recommendation is to grab one of their Breakfast Blend bags. It is my new favorite black coffee go-to. It's rich in flavor while still being on a light/medium roast level with no signs of bitterness. Honestly, I'm getting excited just thinking about having another cup of it! The grocery stores around me have been out of the blend recently, so I popped into this storefront. I was greeted by a lovely barista who happily answered my questions about other blends before ringing up my tried and true, Breakfast Blend. While I was on my way out, I took a look around. There was a good handful of people enjoying coffee while working on their laptops, as well as, a small crowd on the patio outside. It seemed like the neighborhood hangout with great vibes! There's just something about Ozo that I love, truthfully it's one of (if not THE) best cappuccinos I've had in the area. They always have a great product and the wait isn't normally too bad. Even though there are multiple locations, I see Ozo as an "independent" coffee spot which I prefer over the large coffee options as well. Had breakfast here while in Boulder CO. It's still difficult to review a place completely when the restrictions make it impossible to see the inside of coffee shops! We had a latte, sausage and egg sandwich and the everything bagel. The staff was friendly- didn't really engage in banter or small talk- just took our order. Located in the plaza where the Wendy's is, Ozo Coffee is yet another coffee shop in Boulder. This one boasts a friendly hippie vibe, with old school music resembling what you'd hear on Disneyland's Roaring Rapids. There is plenty of parking outside in a private lot, and the interior is very spacious with countertops and tables, and even outdoor seating. They offer free wifi for an hour, but not sure if that's a hard limit or if it could be refreshed. I came near closing time, so I just ordered a simple Latte and was a bit surprised to given my drink in a glass cup with a sleeve on it; the first time I've seen hot coffee served in that I'd say. The latte was solid and full-bodied with still enough espresso flavor coming through that seemingly-giant cup. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get any coffee art, but pickers can't be choosers! You can customize your drink with a bar of simple syrup and add-ons on the side. Not the absolute best in Boulder, but definitely worth trying. They serve food & pastries as well. read more

This coffee shop is actually pretty decent! I only tried the coffee so I can't speak for the pastries they have in stock. I think the price isn't too shabby when you consider how expensive coffee can be, and the menu seemed to have a good amount of espresso based choices which is always a good thing! Around the shop there is a lot of merchandise from the "Ozo" brand, and a large amount of take-home ground coffee. However, I'm not too sure if it's worth making a detour to the place. It's plainly average. Most of the people who frequent the coffee shop live or work next door or pass by it on their way to work. Yet, if you find yourself semi-close, passing by, or tried of your local Starbucks, this isn't a bad choice at all! read more

This is a perfectly nice location of Ozo. Lots of close by parking, plenty of seating indoors and out, though it still can be very full. And noisy inside. Staff is very nice. It's a good place to meet with someone and the tables outside are spaced far enough apart to have a private conversation. Maybe not so private indoors. There are lots of selections in pastries and snacks, many the same you might see everywhere else in Boulder. Prices average for such locations. I have been here before, the first time during my personal local shop decaf espresso tour, which is the only form of coffee I can drink. It was not nearly as good as my everyday favorite brand available most everywhere. It's the bean itself, I am sure. I have tried this drink at nearly every independent coffee shop/roaster around here and they all taste the same to me, no matter that each claims to roast their own. It leaves a sour aftertaste to me, that my usual brand does not. I suspect all these shops/roasters probably buy their decaf bean from the same source. A lot of these shops do not care so much about decaf because they sell so little. But it really matters to me to have a rich roast but neutral, not sour, not acidic, flavor comparable to full octane coffee. It can be done. So I go to these local shops to meet friends, have a nice snack and get a flavorful iced tea after I have had my morning espresso elsewhere. It was my first time at any Ozo location. The place was packed! I thought it was simply a morning rush, but when I asked the cashier they told me that it is always busy... and that what I thought was a rash was actually fairly laid-back. Service was friendly and quick. The Sherpa chai was exactly as they described. It's not the best chai iVe had, but it definitely ranks as one of the best at a coffee establishment. I also got a latte. The latte was less impressive, but still fairly good. Certainly better than Starbucks but that doesn't say much. I would definitely come again for the chai and even the latte. I would likely just get a different size so that the ratio is more to my liking. read more

I ordered one of the refrigerated turkey wraps from the counter and I didn't love it. There is some kind of sauce on there that was honestly, pretty repulsive to me. I went up to the counter and asked if they had any sauces, in which to drown it in, to get it down (I was short on time/in between meetings). She didn't have any but offered to give me a new item. Awesome! Now I don't have to choke down the wrap lol. I chose yogurt and went to sit down with my colleague, now happy. A few mins later, she comes over and gives me a card for 1 free drink, plus she said she was refunding the price for the wrap. Wow!
