It's morning and I don't need coffee but want a beer to study with! Where should I go on Boulder? HERE!!! The tune up! Nice sized, smaller, beer menu. All craft (duh)! Nice outside seating. What more do I need? Oh, yeah... my books!

Stopped by after a hike to grab a beer, and was pretty impressed! I tried their blackberry lemon sour and it was one of the best I've had considering you can't find them on draft often. The only thing that I wasn't impressed with was their food options. They must have limited their choices because not everything that I saw on yelp was there. It's mainly burritos, tamales, salsa or street corn. Therefore we skipped on food but I'd definitely go back for a beer if I was ever in the area again.

Stopped by a few weeks ago for a quick zoom meeting and to get some work done since it looked like they were open later than most other coffee shops in the area. I was in the zone working and mostly oblivious to what was going on around me until someone came up to my table and said it would be okay if I sat there for a few more minutes but I would need to leave if I didn't have a ticket. I think it's awesome for the em yo host events but it would have be nice if someone mentioned this when I showed up, ordered a drink and started working. By the way, the drink was fine but nothing special. read more

A one stop shop for coffee, bikes, beers, and comedy. Seriously this place has it all. A well sized outdoor seating area and plenty of bike parking make it a great place to meet up with friends for a bite or brewski. There are ongoing events each week. My favorite being the Saturday night Open Mic comedy. Free to attend, loads of local talent, and sometimes even a $100 bounty - audience chooses the winner. Lots of options for beer as well as alcohol free offerings (booch, bubbly waters, and more). Tables and floors are super clean which I really enjoyed (it allowed me to concentrate on the comedy). It can be a little cool if the doors are open so be sure to have your coat handy. read more

Fantastic place to study and get work done. New location giving off great vibes and great beers, especially when you want to double-fist coffee and beer at 2 in the afternoon on finals week. Very friendly staff, and although I am not much of a biker, everyone seems well informed and the ambiance of the bike shop directly adjacent to the bar flows nicely into the seating area. Would highly recommend coming to this place during the day for a relaxing vibe, or at night for one of their fun activities such as Trivia Night read more

It was my dream back in the 90s to open a coffee shop within a bike shop. After all, what gear head doesn't love her triple shot half-caf mocha latte?? Well the dream was realized, even if I want the one to open that shop. Bike need a little work? Drop it off in the shop.... Then head right over to the TuneUp for a cup of your favorite Java. Visited on a Sunday evening. Great food and beer selection, but they were out of a lot of food items. Their delivery for food comes tomorrow, but the food all looks great! Solid selection of beers as well! All in all a great food/bar spot inside of a bike shop. Great idea! read more

Wow this place is a gem! Great atmosphere and is certainly the place to drop by in the afternoon for a beer. I stumbled across this place when visiting Boulder and needed an emergency repair on my road bike. While the super helpful staff at Full Cycle attended to my bike, I enjoyed a nice locally brewed craft beer. Great selection of draft beers at reasonable prices! Oh and they also serve great coffee! This place has a great vibe about it. I recommend dropping in and trying some of the local beers! read more

This was the day of my first kombucha experience in Boulder, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The Tune Up was one of the few places in the area that had hard kombucha in addition to the regular, so that was a plus. Our drinks were tasty and we enjoyed the relaxing environment. I would go back for another glass of kombucha! read more

Very interesting concept, a bar inside of a bike shop. Not so far fetched for boulder's pearl street. This very calm environment was populated by individuals working on their laptops, and what seemingly was very very niche regulars. Not a bad place to grab a beer, especially being 2 or 3 blocks from my place. Chelsea was quite kind and a great host. read more

I really really like this place. They almost always have a New England ipa from one of my several favorite breweries on tap (outer range or odd13) or they often have Melvin beer. They have a good amount of both indoor and patio space and delicious paninis!! read more

I bought a great bike at Full Cycle. But in the first month it developed this loud squeaky/squawky noise. I took it in a few times & the Full Cycle crew happily replaced the bottom bracket. The squeak/squawk remained. These guys are MASTERS at what they do & I had no doubt they could fix the problem. But their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO GREAT that, rather than asking me to put my bike in the shop a few more times trying to find the source of the mysterious squawk, they REPLACED THE ENTIRE BIKE! What's more is, when I picked up the new bike, I watched Joe work on it. The precision and care he put into his work was astounding. Everyone at Full Cycle has this increasingly rare thing called INTEGRITY. This the the best bike shop, with the best product choice, the best service, and the best beer in Boulder (a town that sets a high bar for sure). But I'm guessing it's one of the best shops in the nation. I mean, what could be better? They have it all: product choice; expertise; friendly crew that is //never condescending//; master mechanics; very cool owner, plus beer, coffee, and munchies at their friendly bar. You don't even have to be a bike freak to enjoy Full Cycle. But if you are a bike freak, well, seriously, this place is great. Along with everything else, Full Cycle CREATES COMMUNITY. We were only in CO for a week and this was the worst thing we ate.

While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. One of our favorite things during the pandemic when restaurants could reopen was picking up their in house chicken pot pie. It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. But we're cooked to perfection and delivered piping hot. $20 for a large juicy burger and fries. Not much more than most other burger places, but SO much better! Next time will probably split the burger and also get an app.

One of our favorite things during the pandemic when restaurants could reopen was picking up their in house chicken pot pie. It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. And we can come back again for a lunch or dinner as the have more items for people like me who cannot eat fried chucked, with their grilled chicken or salmon.

I would not have passed the Bar if it weren't for the staff at full cycle. Their coffee is top notch, their service is immaculate, and the owner is actively involved in making sure everyone in the place is taken care of to the fullest extent. Witty trivia on Wednesday, every major sporting event all other days, and full service for bicycles any time. Dogs seem not only allowed, but encouraged. There's also an awesome patio section that sits right in pearl street for all your people watching needs. My only critique is their breakfast burritos: they're too pricy and are 90% tortilla. This is a great place to study and hang out! The entire staff is friendly and genuine. The muffins and pastries are delicious and I've been told that the coffee is excellent. Although this is my first review, I felt compelled to give the Tune Up 5-stars because they have always treated me well and it truly is an awesome place, you won't regret giving it a try. Also, trivia on Wednesday nights is one of the best trivia nights around. Challenging questions that are not impossible with a fun and engaging atmosphere. Thats the general feel of the Tune Up and I would highly recommend checking it out. read more

This place kills it. Hard to beat the vibe. Amazing beer selection. Bike races to watch all day. Trivia night on Wednesday is the best in town. I hear they also have Open Mic comedy on Saturdays. Bartenders are super friendly, too. read more
