It's a cool local place that I will skip on future trips to Miami…read more I went looking for chicken wings, walked away with tamales and pork that I trashed. I entered and it was clearly a spanish speaking establishment which is cool. I was sat and given a menu. There was a language barrier so I pointed to menu items. Full list of list of drinks and beer but every beer I pointed to they did not have apparently so I got a margarita but that was full of a premade mix so I asked for a glass of sparkling wine thinking no one could mess up a simple pour. Weirdest glass of sparkling wine (they call it a martini and garnish it with a sugar rim). Fine. I ordered the tamales and she brought pork with it which was nice but I was full of the margarita mix so I couldn't possibly finish. I trashed the take out on the way to the airport. The language barrier was too great but I recommend to other who would have no such issue.

We just did a mud run so I yelp the best restaurant near us…read more They had almost 5 stars so we stopped in You must speak Spanish ! No one understood me and it was a little confusing of where to sit and what to do but they are very friendly! There was a manager I think who spoke English and helped me out I will say the cafe con leche was the best I have ever had! So as far as our food My steak was pretty good but the fries seemed like it was out for a while and not hot or fresh and my sons shrimp Alfredo was yummy but there was so much butter you could have had a heart attack! So just be cautious of what you order or ask for less butter As far as the ambiance it was nothing to really talk about Linda like a cafeteria style

We've been coming to Trigo Café for years, and it has become one of our family's favorite places…read more Julio, one of the owners, always makes us feel so welcomed and truly treats everyone like family. Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. The food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. While brunch is our favorite, their lunch and dinner are just as great, and the new tapas and wine area they recently added is a fantastic addition. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

I have always passed by trigo cafe and never really stopped by until recently. Let me just say…read moreTrigo knows how to make an exceptional sandwich let me tell you that. I stopped by after the lunch rush to have a hialeah heat sandwich was the perfect version of typical cuban sandwich with a kick. I loved the touch of spicy in my sandwich. I also had a cafe bom bom that was really good. Loved the condensed milk. The girl who served me was very attentive to me when I visited and helped me with any questions i had; made me feel very welcomed. When i couldn't finish my coffee she packed it up for me in a to go cup.
