Last night my brother went to their new location in Hialeah next to Milander park. This place did not disappoint we ordered pan con bistecs. Steak quesadillas and chick quesadillas. Although he brought it home to eat at was delicious not greasy and full of meat and flavor. When I first had Trinkin Trinkin in 2017 it was soooo good!! Then over time it went down and now it's just nasty. The last time I had it was in 2019 and the steak was tough and it was barely any on my sub. I went today and nothing has changed. The steak is still tough and spares. $10 is not a lot of money to me, but it's a decent amount to get some good food with. I should've went across the street to Popeyes instead. I really want to like this place more, I really do. The service is good and the staff is incredibly friendly. You are greeted once you walk in, your food is made fresh and the restaurant looks clean and modern. So much good here, too bad that I just didn't like my food that much. I ordered a shrimp salad and I didn't even finish it. They drench it in their sauce (which is normally yummy when served in the right proportion) and there is a ton of cheese as well. The shrimp had a weird taste to it and the lettuce had to hunted down under the pile of toppings. I guess for some people may like a salad with 12 pieces of lettuce, but not me. I ordered a wrap for my husband and he was not impressed either. He also was not able to finish his food, and not in the "I'm stuffed" good way, more like the "I just don't want to eat this anymore" way. I think their food has a good flavor, but it just isn't for me. I would still recommend that you give them a try, just be sure to ask questions about the preparation of what you order so you can try to scale it back as needed. read more

Went to Trinkin Trinkin after months of following the owner on IG, really cool guy. For the most part it was a positive experience. Store was clean, employee was nice, food tasted good, and their sauce is fire. Ordered the steak wrap and asked if I can make it a combo, employee informed me it comes as a combo so I don't thought that was great. Wrap comes to the table and gotta be honest I was a little disappointed on the size, online it always looks massive, guess the camera adds 10lbs to wraps as well. Maybe the wrap isn't the move and the salad and sandwich is the way to go. Either way I kind of left hungry wishing I had more food to dip into my sauce. Now I understand the margins gotta make sense and that's fine, I'm completely ok with being charged more and leaving full, I would have gladly paid extra for the combo or paid $10 to feel full. I used to work in a restaurant where I was a Manager for over 7 years. I looked to the walls, grill, sandwich making station, under the the gril and all work stations were clean enough which it was phenomenal, music was actually perfect for the location, staff was extremely and beyond amazing, service loved it. I decided to go for the 2nd time and was even better, i tried steak sandwich and the dessert.. wowww I have never tried anything so real tasty like the desserts from this place. i went for a 3rd time and it was spectacular, can't complain, the place is new for what i can see and what they said, so far they are doing great and for sure im coming back. read more

Recently tried Trinkin I ordered a chicken quesadilla(soooo good) and a chicken wrap which can with chips and a drink and a special sauce. Excited to try them out everything on the menu looked good. When the order was ready I opened my styrofoam plate and was disappointed because the wraps were so small. Smaller then McDonald's apple pie. When cashier told me it was because I didn't get double meat which wasn't true once I got the owner involved she remade and apologized for the mistake. I would try them again. On 01/11/2018 at 6pm I called to place and order. The young man who answered the phone was very rude after I asked the question did they take phone orders. This was one of my favorite grubspots after leaving king of diamonds. But after today i will never order again unless its from the owner. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! MANAGEMENT SKILLS NEEDED !!! My credit card declined so i ended up purchasing 3 wraps from them with a gift card i was told that there was a remainder of 10 dollars left. So i decided to buy 2 wraps instead. I was told that i would have to buy all 3 wraps because there register would be short if i didnt. After asking to speak to the manager the lady told me that she was the manager. My guests were able to give the remainder amount in order to purchase all three . We were so disgusted because we use to buy from the owner all the time. The guy who made the food even told us that we would have to pay for all 3 wraps because we couldnt be refunded for the card we used (understandable) but eliminating one of the tilapias was not an option because the register would be short. For my understanding that register is not in reality short because the purchase would still be made but if your going into business you need to learn how to satisfy a customer in order to have them for a lifetime. read more
