Update update!! One…read moremonth left with braces.... I don't think I've ever been to a doctor or dental office that made me feel so welcome. Every time I walk in, it's like they know me. They talk to me like we're friends. Every member of the staff. I would usually prefer to not get poked and prodded once every six weeks, but, I can handle it when I'm treated so well. They listen. They're respectful. They're funny. It's been about two years of seeing these women on a regular basis. And I don't dread it. Ever. I've recommended that everyone looking for some kind of orthodontia go there. And I mean it. Dr Fleming is just a beautiful person, with more knowledge and confidence than I've ever experienced. And you can tel she educated her staff, and treats them well. I'll miss them! But I don't miss these wires in my face!!

This location is pretty convenient for those in the Richardson area, or even neighboring cities because it borders Plano as well. Charlene (front desk admin) is very friendly and efficient. I always get text notifications (you can set this up with them) two times prior to coming in, and a confirmation call. This is really useful for me because I make the appointments 6 months out and don't remember the specifics. If you need to change your appointment, it's also quite convenient to change times / days. Just take a note to the days they aren't open! The process of cleaning and results are always clearly explained to me when a question arises. The cleaning and polishing process is a painless experience, and fairly quick for me (under the hour). Everyone here is so nice- Recommend this dentist!

He is quick…read morebut the fillings will be too big and under filled where brushing after every meal will not be enough to prevent cavities around the filling. The best he will offer is to redo the fillings and "will probably lead to root canal and crown." I had four fillings done by Nishit and all four failed the following month. I told him when he finished the fillings that when he used the floss it cut the floss. He said it was nothing to worry about and that he would make any touch ups for free when I come in a month later for cleaning. I said ok and brought it up again first thing when I came back for my cleaning a month later. The AI scan of my teeth confirmed the new fillings had all failed. I'm afraid to go back Richardson family dentistry as my teeth or so damaged I'm afraid to smile or take pictures anymore. My insurance was maxed out so I have to wait a full year to find a new dentist that can help me fix the mistakes. If you need any dental work beyond a cleaning. Please beware. I really hope no one has to be put through what I have been put through. The staff is nice and very polite including Nishit. He is just inexperienced with fillings.

Dr. Lo is one of those people. A natural educator in a dental scrubs, Dr. Lo took the time to explain common misconceptions about dental hygiene with kindness and zeal. Like I said, I've never felt more excited about flossing and brushing. I took advantage of a new patient promotion for the office and am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and take the time to answer questions. I was not upsold on any service. From what I could tell, this dental office is more interested in giving patients what they actually need and does not try to sell products or procedures that are not necessary. It sounds like they offer a membership for self-pay patients as well that would offest the cost for those who are underinsured as well. Happy with the discovery of this dentist. My father-in-law is also a dentist, so we really appreciate the good decisions and excellent care we've received here. When my FIL sold his own dental practice about 25 years ago, we had such a hard time in those first few years trying to find a dentist we could trust. Dr. Bridgeman has been wonderful! He is more than fair in his billing, and the entire staff helps us get our girls' schedules worked out now that they're in college out of state. Although we really do take good care of our teeth (daily brushing and flossing), my youngest and I have significant dental challenges due to the fact that we have Celiac disease. (i.e. low enamel, grinding at night, extreme tooth sensitivity, etc.). Dr. Brett is excellent, compassionate, and he goes out of his way to help us stay within our budget, to help us prioritize treatments, and to help us with all the extra challenges we face as Celiac patients, etc. A bad dentist can cause many problems, as my sister can attest to. She wasn't so lucky with her search for a new dentist. Don't mess around. Get a good dentist that's honest, works hard, cares about his patients, and knows what he's doing. Dr. Bridgeman is that kind of dentist! His staff is really wonderful, too! A few tips from my FIL who owned a dental practice for many years in another state: always arrive on time for appointments, pay up front, and treat your dentist with respect. Arriving late, refusing to pay, and treating your dentist with contempt and lack of trust won't work in your favor with ANY dentist.

They are never really pleasant but I didn't have any big issues until recently. I chipped a tooth on a glass while at dinner and came to them to get it fixed. It was poorly done and chipped off again 3 more times within a month. They verbally guaranteed their work for up to a year, ie, to fix it for no charge. On my last visit Brett was in a foul mood and seemed irritated to see me again. Just so we are clear- I am not a clencher, or grinder, nor was I careless with my teeth. I don't think ANYONE wants to see the dentist more than necessary so I took very good care of my tooth and its constant chipping was not my fault. I was making my way out and the receptionist stopped me. I told her this was another redo and she insisted that I pay! I tried to explain the guarantee giving to me and she tried to tell me that it only covered 2 visits! This was NEVER disclosed to me and I was NOT happy. I asked her to get doctor B and she went around the corner and told me that he was busy. I told her I wasn't paying. She went around the corner and came back with him (aparently he wasnt too busy to get his money!) and he said "whats the problem here?" I explained the situation and reminded him of what he said and he told me that he was "sick and tired" of having to repair my tooth and demanded I pay! This was in front of the entire staff and I was almost in tears. I am still kicking myself for shelling out another $200 to these crooks- I guess they tried to intimidate me and it worked. I am going to report them to the BBB and now NO ONE in my family will EVER step foot in their office again. You may have won $200 in the short run, but your bad business practices are going to cost you THOUSANDS when I am done.
