My name is Behnaz Safavi. After much unneeded aggravation and harassment by this Riddhi Daftary lying that Humana will deny payment for gum recessions and bone loss for regular cleaning and will deny payment for perio maintenance and since I have not had any perio maintenance and some three letters she used as a code, like SPF, I was dumbfounded as to how she had charged for x-rays and comprehensive exam and taking pictures of my mouth and was refusing the cleaning? It was crazy. I would be happy to have my teeth cleaned and be stuck with that 53.00 cleaning, but she did not give me that option. What she was saying did not make sense and I told her. My last dentist for the last four cleanings had not said any of what she was saying. And then she zeroed out the balance and said she won't file with insurance and that she did. She is the most dishonest woman. And she has four locations and maybe more. Three are listed on Humana.com/Medicare. The one location I went to on Alma in Allen which is where I live obviously is not in Humana's accepted locations. But, she said she would not file and went ahead and filed. And they turned around and denied payment. That she told me she is going to zero out the balance and not file with insurance she lied about because I got Humana's papers today which is September 23, 2023 and a Saturday that she tried to bill Humana Medicare Advantage Plan PPO Dental Plan $416.00 dollars. I have always said if we reformed our education the outcome would not be this doggy dog dental practice. I will post photos when I figure out how to do it. read more

DO not go here! If I could give it negative stars I would. As of October I started Invisalign at this office. I paid up front for my whole treatment including retainers, teeth whitening and everything. The Dr that started my treatment was great (I had braces as a kid, but didn't wear my retainer so the bottom shifted, I wanted to get it fixed) easy peasy treatment, I was given 19 trays and a 5 year warranty. Come January the office changed ownership, my doctor left and I was informed the new Dr Daftary would be taking over. I was scheduled for my mid treatment apt in January with the new doctor. At my appointment, her assistant "polished" aka took sand paper to my teeth. The doctor never even came in to see me until the assistant was done to check over the work and send me on my way. A week before my treatment was supposed to be finished (Mar21st) I get a text saying I'm being dropped and all Future apts will be cancled. Dr Daftary is "not affiliated" with previous dr's treatments and "unable to treat Invisalign". Mind you this is after she continued my treatment plan in January. My teeth are still crooked on the bottom and I will need to finish treatment elsewhere and obviously I won't be receiving the retainer I paid for either, let alone all the other stuff I have already paid for.... I sent an email to the office requesting a refund to pay for the rest of my treatment that I will be paying for at another office. Basically a, hey these are my receipts, I'm giving you a chance to make this right before I take further action( write reviews ect). The email was very black and white.. bottom line I paid for all of this and you are abandoning me with no refund, including pictures of everything. Dr Daftary called me only to talk in circles, sound extremely condescending, and take absolutely no responsibility for anything. Didn't even get a response to my email, I'm assuming she doesn't want anything in writing? I never write reviews but this seems un ethical and extremely wrong on a moral stand point. I'm currently going through insurance and seeing what my rights are as a patient to get some of my money back to pay for future appointments with another doctor. I would not trust this new ownership at this office AT ALL. DO NOT GO HERE. Reading over the positive reviews, they are all from the previous office and doctors. I started going to PA Dental Arts in 2020 and began Invisalign with Dr. Christina Blacher. I finished my treatment and had a great experience with her and the office staff. In January of this year, I was notified that Dr. Blacher was no longer at the practice and Dr. Daftary would be taking over. I had my routine cleaning scheduled and was honestly a bit nervous about meeting a new doctor. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was very kind and attentive while checking me in. My hygienist, Fatima, was one of the best I've ever had. I have a bit of anxiety when going to the dentist due to some major childhood dental issues, but Fatima was amazing from the beginning. Dr. Daftary was also professional, kind, and honest, and gentle during my visit. read more

My experience with Dr. Daftary and her team was excellent! I felt very comfortable and they made sure to answer all my questions and provided me helpful option. They accepted my insurance which was a big plus and I even got a nice electric toothbrush from them. read more

First of all, the whole office is so beautiful, clean and warm that I felt I was in a hotel. That is ALWAYS a great sign for me. Secondly, Dr. Christina Blacher is the sweetest human being that cares above and beyond to make the dental experience anything BUT uncomfortable. The chairs have massagers, she gives you headphones as to not hear the drilling... I mean, I have never felt so taken care of by any doctor! Julie is an Angel as well; the office manager, and every woman that works here makes you feel safe. An all female environment is my personal favorite. Oh... I also flew in from LA just to come here and I will continue to do so. 5 star all the way! read more

I never write negative reviews but have to share my experience because I was completely blindsided at my appointment today. After researching dentists in the DFW area, I only chose to drive to this practice because I wanted to do my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Christina Blacher. I started Invisalign with her last year and she is so AMAZING at what she does. After waiting 30 min in the lobby for my follow up appointment to see her today, I was nonchalantly told (while laying down in the chair) that she no longer worked there and I had a new dentist. My visit of 2 minutes with what I think was a hygienist consisted of me biting down on a cloth to check how my trays fit...and getting no answer as to where the other doctors went besides "they didn't own the business??". That is so unprofessional to have such a lack of transparency for patients who are paying to come to your office for a specific doctor and staff. My husband saw Dr. Guak there and she was great too but also gone now. They are the reason P.A. Dental Arts has tons of positive reviews. This is really sad for people with dental anxiety and those having to take time away from their children or work to come to the dentist only to be blindsided that their dental work will not be in the same hands. Super shady. You guys definitely lost me and my family as patients and I will not be recommending this business to anyone. I had a filling pop out late last night. I couldn't even drink water without pain. I called PA Dental Arts first thing (before they opened). They told me to come in right when they opened. They took my xrays, confirmed the filling problem (from like 8-10 years ago from another dentist), gave me my insurance quote, numbed me up, and put in a brand new filling. Very quick and efficient! I'm so thankful they fixed my tooth so quick! Great service too- I love how they told me my price before the procedure. read more

Last week I had my first cleaning with PA Dental Arts and was extremely pleased. The most clean and sterile dental office I have ever been in. Super friendly staff and Dr. Akhavan explained, in normal "speak", what I could expect. After that initial experience I knew he would be the one to correct my not so perfect smile. I am currently wearing temporaries on my two upper front teeth awaiting veneers. I must say, even these temporaries are an improvement from my normal teeth. Couldn't be happier! The practice is very clean and welcoming, plus they were also on time. My hygienist was Adrienne and she was very thorough and took her time to do an amazing job! Once she was done, then I met with Dr. Blacher. Where do I start? She is AMAZING! Not only she was very knowledgable, but she also explained everything in detail and never rushed me. Julie was also extremely nice and caring. I am very picky with my healthcare providers and I will absolutely be returning to Dr. Blacker's office to see her and her amazing staff. Thank you, guys!
