These are genuinely top-tier sandwiches (without resorting to cheats like MSG/nutritional yeast-laden sauces and dressings). Fresh and authentic. Lots of local workers picking up sandwiches here. This place was great. It's a no frills deli in the back of a small corner grocery store. There were cops and fire fighters lined up, which was a good sign. The person guy behind the counter was nice and helpful, since this was our first time there. The sandwiches were huge and super tasty. I had the Dagwood and my wife had the chicken salad. Both were on a large, braided roll, which was soft and kept all the goodness together. If you are near the area and want to support a local, this is the place to go. Then i was diagnosed with coeliac disease and couldn't eat wheat which was a very sad day for me bc it meant i could no longer enjoy the beauty of their liverwurst sandwich or the elegant tasting chicken cutlet.
