We both got our dishes, tried them and I thought my Lo-Mein wasn't very good, and my chicken was extremely dry. honestly the food court Asian food would have been better. The dish was very average for the price I was paying for it. On the other hand my husband was ok with his dish though he said that it definitely wasn't worth the price, he said it was very plain. he asked to try a few of their sauces to add to his dish to make it more flavorful and it took well over 10 minutes to come out, turns out the waiters forgot to bring the sauces out. Fairly standard fare with consistent quality. Any chain restaurant loses a star in my book but we went with the family as it was nearby and had some kid friendly options. Drinks were good, shrimp was tasty. We even opted for desserts which were good but not Asian-inspired. read more

Second time in a week I have dined at this upscale Chinese restaurant. Yes...it is that good. I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff, as well as how attentive they are. I had different severs both times and still received excellent service. Appetizers: Sushi - kaleidoscope roll- amazing, perfect blend of flavors. Chicken lettuce wraps-omg soooo damn good!!! Dinner: sesame chicken and my boyfriend had kung pao shrimp. Both had great flavor and fresh. Dessert: banana spring rolls with vanilla bean ice cream- dear God I am in heaven! I hadn't been to PF Chang's in 2 Years....We sat on the patio, there was a cool breeze but the sun was enough to keep us warm. It was Mothers Day day and my son paid for lunch, he's 17. We had 2 appetizers and 3 dishes (we had a lot to take home). I had 2mixed drinks (the local favorites), they were absolutely delicious with layers of flavor.....not too sweet and very refreshing. Our dinner was really good and haven't had Asian food in quite a while. The service was perfect and fast. The food was hot and delicious. We have mixed feelings regarding our luncheon, however it was a disappointing experience overall. The first clue was the rude greeting from the hostess. She gave us a once over, made a grimace, and led us to our booth. The plate setting was another clue. The square black plates were dusty and had a sticky feel, like old oil. We decided to chance it, and ordered a couple of entrees, plus fried rice from the kids menu for our son. The chicken and shrimp were over cooked. They were tough, and overcooked to the extent that some chicken pieces were hard. As a former chef at another PF Chang's, I was extremely disappointed. I know what the dishes are supposed to be like, and how the food is supposed to be cooked. I was embarrassed that I invited my family to dine there, as I've hyped them up based on my recollection of how good the food was supposed to be during the time I had cooked for this franchise. The server and the manager, on the other hand, gave 5 stars customer service. They were apologetically understanding, a vast contrast to the attitude from their hostess. The manager said that they have two new employees cooking in the kitchen, and insisted on remaking our dishes, saying that it would be good practice for them to get it right. Although we didn't want anymore food, they made it anyways. This time the chicken and shrimps were still tough. A bit better than the first time, but still overcooked. At least it's headed in the right direction. We had them pack it up, and rushed home to use the restroom. That food did a number on us. R.I.P. Our toilet did not survive. read more

I always loved coming to PF Changs in Akron, but it has all fallen apart. I ordered Crispy Honey Chicken with white rice to go last night. I picked it up right on time. The chicken was so greasy and had an odd taste, like the fryer grease hadn't been changed in a while, chewy and just blah. The rice was stale and dry. I absolutely love the food here, so my family took to the Fairlawn location for Mother's Day. We sat for 20 minutes before our waitress, Cassandra, even acknowledged us....we didn't even get water while we waited! She wasn't even apologetic! She bussed tables and took orders from other tables while we sat there waiting. As a former server myself, I would have been more forgiving had they been busy or short staffed, but that wasn't the case. We enjoyed our entrees very much, but I would rate our server a 1. Had to go to the apple store to get my phone fixed so we stopped in for lunch since it was close. My husband and my two kids, the kids each got the kids lo mein, my husband and I got appetizers to share, the chicken lettuce wraps, the crispy green beans and the tempura calamari, everything came out hot and delicious, you can tell they do pride themselves on fresh ingredients, you can taste the difference between this place and a regular "chinese" restaurant. We tried P.F. Chang's because we had received a gift card for it. I have to say when I walked into the restaurant, I didn't feel that oriental vibe that should have been there given the type of restaurant it is. Since I was on a time crunch, we decided to take out. The staff was pretty friendly and it took roughly 15 minutes to receive our food which was decent. I was excited to try something new, as always! I ordered the Chicken with white rice and my boyfriend ordered the steak with brown rice. The chicken was the quality of mall food and the rice was just sad and flavorless. My boyfriend's steak on the other had was delicious, that's the only reason I gave this review a 3 star instead of a two star. I don't think I'll be going back, I'll just go to the mall for Asian food instead. read more

I hate to write a one star based just on service but it was that bad. We came in on Mothers day and our server treated us as we were the biggest inconvienence. He rushed us to order and when we didn't let our selves be rushed he huffed and puffed and made very blatant comments to us such as "great take 28 minutes ladies to order your entrees." Mind you we ordered drinks, two apps, three entrees and two deserts...we never sat there with food not in front of us once the apps arrived. The food was very good and we were completely happy with it. My husband even greatly enjoyed my leftovers. I did contact corporate customer care and they apologized and sent us a gift card. They said the restaurant manager of the location we went to would be calling me and that never happened. That furthered my disappointment and I will not be back to this location as it us obvious the management doesn't even care which explains why we were treated so poorly. read more

My hunch is after covid it's now more of an "assembly" of food made and packaged in a factory and warmed up. This was one of the worst meals I have ever had in a restaurant. We went here for lunch today, about half the place was filled, mostly couples, one big table. Not much has changed about the decor, in the past decade with this chain, still dark and loud, although with half the tables empty it was a little less noisy. Food choices, plenty to choose from, soups salads, rice dishes, noodles. We started with the lettuce wraps, our favorite app, they are so refreshing to eat, the crisp watery lettuce folded around the soy sauced garlic infused chicken with the crunch of the fried rice sticks, the best! My wife chose a new dish, Miso Glazed Salmon with spinach, nice center cut, charred on one side, a bit overcooked, still had enough moisture to deliver the flavor. The Miso Glaze slightly fermented and sweet wasn't overpowering the dish. I went with the Lo mein noodles with shrimp. The shrimp were overcooked, dry and rubbery, they had a solid soy sauce grilled flavor and were complimentary to the oily egg noodles and vegetables. Portions always fill us up, no room for dessert. Service was great at the front of the house, kitchen was slow for the amount of people in the place, I went through a refill on my tea before the entrees came out. read more

We haven't been to PF Changs in a long time, and now we remember why. As the hostess was trying to seat us she had to walk by a ton of dirty tables to find us a clean one to sit at. Service is extremely slow, it took 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order. Then it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Our meals were mediocre at best. The oolong sea bass was still raw in the middle. We ordered a side of charred brussel sprouts when they arrived I kid you not there were three brussel sprouts in the bowl and a ton of pineapples. Everything else we ordered had zero flavor. The server disappeared the whole time, the hostess had to refill our drinks and this was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Double date amazing! We went out with two friends last night to the same place we had our first date with them three years ago. We were even sat at the same table by coincidence. From start to finish, we were treated with kindness and efficiency. Our server, Alissa, was as sweet as can be. The restaurant was packed, but she was as cool as a cucumber. The Asian pear mojito is still my favorite drink, and I applaud P.F. Chang's for having an interesting GF menu. Cheers to a great night! read more

I'd like to give PF Chang's a higher rating. The thing is, while the food is good enough, the prices are a bit high for the size of the servings they provide. I've been here 3 times - once for lunch with coworkers, once on a date years ago and then this last Friday with Danielle. Danielle and I ordered from the "PF Chang's For Two" menu - each got a cup of soup, an entree and shared an appetizer and a dessert. Danielle had Egg Drop Soup and Crispy Honey Chicken. I had Hot & Sour Soup and Chang's Spicy Chicken. We shared Steamed Pork Dumplings and Sweet Vanilla Cream Dessert Wontons. Danielle didn't like her soup, i tried it and didn't care for it either. My soup, however, has created an obsession for hot & sour soup. I can't get enough. We each liked our entrees, though i think i liked mine more. This is my biggest complaint. The food was great and i really wanted more, but the portions seem like smaller lunch portions even at dinner time. i want to leave feeling full/satisfied and i leave just feeling hungry and wanting more. Same with the desserts. Our shared dessert consisted of two very small cream filled wontons w/ raspberry sauce. i mean it's not a dessert, it's like the sweet, end of the meal version of an Amuse-bouche. All that said, i want to go back and have the Spicy Chicken and the soup again. yum. read more

Wow where do I start, holy shit the prices are insane! For $17 dollars I got kung pao chicken that tasted like panda express. I'm not joking. The quality is absolutely terrible, I honestly can't believe this restaurant can just trick people into thinking it's high quality by garnishing it with chopped scallions. The thing is I wasn't really mad, but more entertained by how fancy they think they are by selling entrees that are $15-$22, for food that tastes like it was microwaved. I'm stunned. This is one of our go-to places when we can't decide where to eat. Even though it is a chain restaurant it is very nice. The atmosphere and decor are up to date. The servers are always friendly and attentive. The food is very good. I have recently discovered the lettuce wraps. They are so fresh and tasty. My Daughter and husband are not adventurous so they always have the Sesame Chicken. The Garlic Chicken, Honey Chicken and Fried Rice are also very good. read more
