Food was amazing. Started with dynamite shrimp (think of bang bang shrimp) ended with Singapore noodles and miso salmon - both were awesome. Ended up getting an mixed up order and was reconciled immediately with another full dish - delivered with a smile. Chanel gave service that was top notch. We took all of her suggestions even down to the chocolate cake and our new favorite (apple dish - forgot the name). We were delighted to meet one of the manager's Ken- who trust me, is a true Doll! First time in Birmingham & 1st time in a P.F. Chang's in a while. Ambiance was nice. Music was not overbearing. Cute for a casual date. We were here for a subtle business dinner. Will definitely ask for Chanel if we are able to return before leaving this week! If you're thinking about it - just go. Haven't been to this location in a while and was disappointed. Went in for lunch. Service was great. We were seated immediately and had an extremely helpful and friendly waiter. Restaurant was clean, comfortable and our food came out super fast. The only problem was that the food was pretty bad. It tasted like it was microwaved. The orange chicken was soggy, room temperature and the fried rice lacked flavor. The Mongolian beef was tough, room temperature and just had a funky taste to it in general. I'm a fan of this chain but I cannot see myself going back anytime soon. read more

Had a delightful time this afternoon. Made a reservation online, once we got there, it was an additional 20 minutes for an outside table. Outside was lovely. Server was fanatastic. Had so much personality. The food was as wonderful as I remember (as it had been a few years since I've been) Lost a star because my appetizer of Wontons was delivered burned and cold. Good food but not special. Our party shared lettuce wraps, crab wontons, Changs spicy chicken, sesame chicken, and combo lo mien. It was good. The Changs chicken used to be my favorite but its not spicy anymore and does no have much flavor. Sesame chicken was the winner this night. Combo lo mien had beef, chicken and shrimp in it. We finished with our usual dessert of banana spring rolls. We had excellent service this evening. We had reservations and were seated upon our arrival with no wait. For our anniversary dinner, we made reservations at PF Chang's. We were pleasantly surprised by a handwritten note congratulating us, which I thought was a special touch, and a free small dessert. Otherwise, unfortunately our experience wasn't as special... our service was extremely slow, and the fried and brown rice was dry and flavorless. Mainly, I felt that the small portion sizes of the appetizers were on the expensive side, and my husband found his Mongolian beef dish bland. I did, however, love the taste of the appetizers, the sangria and my grilled salmon dish with its mix of vegetables. We also noticed that they have an impressive happy hour for $5/$6 appetizers and drinks, which is what we will consider instead for future visits. read more

I have eaten at this location previously and it was superb. This time, however, was quite mediocre. It took quite a while for our food to arrive. The Resturant wasn't packed at the time. My husband ordered a salad and I ordered the lettuce tacos. Mediocre is the only word I can find to describe our experience and the food. read more

Our dining experience this past weekend was terrible. After ordering, it took over an hour and a half to receive all of our food. It came out in shifts with my child's meal coming last. Not one time did the manager come over to say anything; he just left it to the poor waiter who had to take our anger in stride. Not blaming him at all. Sat at the bar ordered 2 cocktails. 3 appetizers and the manager came up to me and told me I was in trouble for daring to take a picture of my surroundings (aka the bar) and sending it to my girlfriend. Do not ever dine here. Management and service is rude. Took a client here and was completely embarrassed. Wanted to dine as a family but since we have 4 kids (8 and under) and there are two adults (total party of 6) we have to wait until after 8pm to get a table. Mind you our youngest is 10 months. I've been here several times and the food is usually ok, but last night I was decidedly underwhelmed. I started with a strawberry cucumber limeade which was incredibly lime-y. It was impossible to taste the strawberry and cucumber at all, and it was served in a very small glass (about half the size of my water glass.) not worth the 3+ dollars it cost. The steamed dumplings I had as an appetizer were ok. My friends had the cheese wontons and a sushi roll and they were also ok. The plum dipping sauce for the wontons was delicious. I think my biggest disappointment of the meal were the charred Brussels sprouts. I was expecting blackened and crisp, I received burnt and soggy. There was so much of the oily sauce on the sprouts they were just a limp mess. The other disappointing part of the evening was when the manager stopped by and asked us if we need anything. We asked for refills on our drinks and he never brought them. What kind of a manager does that? I can say our waiter was excellent and our food was delivered quickly. read more

We chose this spot as our date night tonight. We made a dinner reservation and got sat immediately. After about 15 minutes nobody had come to take our drink orders. I got up to get the attention of a hostess to ask if we could have someone order our drinks. A waitress named Chanel immediately came over to help us. She told us she wasn't supposed to be our server but that she would be happy to help us. She was very attentive and kind and the service was great. She even gave us a free dessert. My first time at PF Chang's I've always passed on it because I thought it was just overpriced Chinese food but it is so worth it! The staff was so nice and polite and hands on with everything. The inside of the restaurant was so neat and clean and well designed it was just a very comfortable place to dine in. The food was really good! Also we made a reservation, I would definitely suggest making a reservation ahead of time especially on weekends I am very glad we did. I will definitely come back. read more

The absolute worst experience tonight! I along with dozens of other families who have had reservations for a week or two for Christmas Eve show up at our reservation time to be told "I'm sorry we are running an hour behind on tables, people are sitting longer than we thought" after talking with the manager who was clueless and no help at all, we will never be back. read more

I hate giving one star reviews, but this was warranted. I place a pickup order through DoorDash. It never updates to tell me my order is ready. I work at the summit and am trying to plan my break around when I can get my food. I give it 45 minutes (hard to call sooner since i am working) and then I call. The man on the phone tells me my order is ready, so I go ahead and leave to pick it up. I walk in and the hostess is very nice and points me to the pickup counter. I am ignored by the two people behind the counter and then they walk away. Over the next maybe 5 or so minutes, a couple of other employees walk by and no one acknowledges my existence. I'm on a time crunch now since I am on break and finally, an employee comes up to give another woman her pickup order. I stop her and ask if mine is ready. She goes around the counter where my bag is sitting and has been for who knows how long. She brought the other person their orders from the back. I have to hurry to be able to eat during my break, so I grab my bag and go. I get back to work, no utensils and it's cold. I understand you're not DoorDash, but if you're going to be partnered with them, you need to know how to let the customer know their pickup is ready. As usual the wait was 45 minutes to an hour on a Saturday evening. We opted to sit at the bar. The bar tenders were very attentive and very knowledgeable with the entire menu and made great drink recommendations too. We only went for appetizers and cocktails. We started with shrimp dumplings, half steamed and half pan friend. They were both good, but the pan fried was so much better! We followed with chicken lettuce wraps which were amazing. We had lemon drop martinis and they were as good as any that I've ever had. The feature drink for the Chinese New Year was the Red Lantern, which was made with Reyka Vodka, Solerno Liqueur, blood orange puree and lemon juice. It was very light and refreshing. It was served in glass with a light stick to the bottom of the glass which made it appear to glow, pretty cool. read more

However, the manager ended up noticing our table being unhelped. Long story short, he gave us our appetizer on the house to compensate for our long wait. Me and my friends came to P.F. Chang's after a long, rainy and cold day. I was in the mood for some Hot and Sour soup to help warm me up. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted and the Host was really nice. He started a short conversation with us as he took us to our table. We were greeted immediately by our waiter. He was really nice as well... very prompt. We already knew what we wanted so we didn't ask for any suggestions. Besides the Hot and Sour soup, I ordered Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice and some Spring Rolls. My friends ordered Mongolian Beef and the Crispy Honey Chicken dish. Our food was freshly cooked and hot. We had no complaints on the food. It was also very prompt with the restaurant being half full. We were so full from our dinners that we didn't order any dessert. The only complaint we have is that the floor on the way to the restroom, right in front of the kitchen is VERY slippery even with sneakers on so please be careful. All in all, I will be back to visit soon! read more

The dumplings were my next favorite then the wontons. I didn't try the soup, but hubs said it was great. Jacie was out waitress & she was so great. We'll def ask for her again next time.
