I came here for a friend's birthday, and I figured it's finally my chance to try it out since everyone is always telling me "Roger, have you tried PF Chang's!?". I don't know if it's because I'm Asian or what?! Well from their claims, it's the best chinese food in town! Well let the adventuring begin... The place is really nice, not to mention you have a free valet person in the front who just works off tips. The place is pretty huge and they have some amazing decorations including some ancient samurai statues and two large dynasty horses. So the environment really does give you that "Chinese Feel". Now on to the food. I ordered the "Chicken Lettuce Wrap" for an appetizer and that was pretty delish! It has been awhile since I've tasted chestnuts which was really good, and the topping of the crispy rice sticks just made it even better! Honestly I could have just eaten this dish and been satisfied...that's how great it was! Ok ok, enough with the delicious appetizer, let's move on to my main dish...it was "Chang's spicy chicken". If you are looking for a sweet and spicy taste, this is the dish for you. With just the right balance of sweet and spice, there's not too much of one or the other. I wasn't disappointed and I'm pretty picky with my Chinese food, especially when everyone always compares chinese fast food to dining in. Another thing I love about here is that they always bring out their own sauce and mixes it for you to enjoy with your dishes...AND if you are a health freak like I am and don't want to feel guilty into devouring all this deliciousness, you are given a choice of white or brown rice! :) Overall this is a great place and is definitely on my list of recommendations for chinese food. If I have to eat Chinese, I want to go to P.F. Chang's. I really, really like the spicy eggplant dish, served with brown rice. The service is generally good, and the price -- at least for the eggplant -- is reasonable. That said, on the last visit the friend who was with me had the egg drop soup and was not happy with it, because it wasn't what she's used to. read more

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants but I love PF Changs. It's reliably good and often great. Started with the cocktail, Bloody Geisha--wow, loved it! I had the new Thai dish which was very good. My daughter had the orange chicken which had more orange and kick-- good update. Our server, Alexander, was outstanding. One thing--I wish restaurants would ask if we want a straw before putting one in the drink. We ordered water which came with straws in them. We're not straw people, never have been. This isn't a straw rant, but why create trash that's not even been used. read more

P.F. Chang's offers Tucson most upscale Asian dining. It is a good place to go for a group gathering or to celebrate an event. The food is good, however it lacks Chinese authenticity in many ways. However, most Americans are used to Chinese-American food and will enjoy the food. read more

We had an excellent lunch on the patio. The waitress recommended a new combo of Mongolian beef and Chang's chicken, with veggies and an ample supply of rice. It was perfect for 2 to split. The pork egg rolls were flavorful, but not greasy. Be forewarned that the horseradish sauce is intense! Attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. read more

They're pretty far up north from where I live so sadly I've had to go without eating their food ever since I moved. This was the first place we tried when we first moved to Tucson. The service and food are very good. I like the fact that they have the little sauces on the table so that you can make your own. The item I think about all the time is the chicken lettuce wraps. They are so delicious, you have to try them. Our waiter mixed us a sauce with the sauces on the table to go with our wraps and it was so good. You can make them as spicy as you like. I love PF Chang's. Our server was not on her game this night. We got the calamari and 2 orders of the lettuce wraps. It seemed our server was forgetting everything. She brought 2 straws for 3 people. Then, she explained how they only do the one sauce for the lettuce wraps, unless we request all 3. I asked her if I could get them all. Of course, she didn't bring them all out and I had to ask. The service and decor are wonderful and the food flavorful and delicious. Brown rice too, which is a real plus and a rare find in a restaurant. Chang's reservation system works better then any I have ever seen with a Confirmation Number and a seating exactly on time for the reservation. Amazing! Too bad it was so noisy. It ruins the experience. Noisy the whole meal, the whole night. My ears felt like they had been in a battle or a rock concert. Even the day after. Portions are far too small for the price. Pf changs is definitely better than its sister company pei wei... the food is not as salty... I usually order chicken lettuce wraps and dumplings for app.. entrees we will have changs chicken, beef noodles and pepper steak... the best part of changs is the banana spring roll with the coconut vanilla ice cream read more

I'm so glad that I do not allow negative reviews to keep me from experiencing a restaurant for myself. It's funny how I never seem to get the atrocious service or the rude waiters or the terrible food. Just went last night for the first time ever and the young wait staff were courteous and right on point. The food was beyond 5 stars and the overall experience was great. I would recommend this place 100%, just thinking what the negative reviews are really based on. Sometimes I think some people have nothing kind to say "ever" when it comes to restaurant reviews. Oh well, sorry to all of you out there in "yelp" land that had a bad experience and I wish you well on you next review, hopefully it will be awesome because tou finally received service and food to your liking. read more

My favorite is the honey chicken, the chicken lettuce wraps, and the egg drop soup. I would say that PF can be a little pricey so if you can go for lunch or do the 2 for $40, Do it! I have gone to this location and received bad service and great service. All the food has been great and consistent. Ok, I'm updating and amending my first very MEH review. After going here a few times recently for happy hour with friends, I like this place a lot better than before. The happy hour has some nice food and drink specials, and the bartenders are awesome. It's much more fun to sit at the bar than in the restaurant. My favorite part, though, is that it's easy to low-carb here. I told the bartender that I was low-carbing and she suggested what ended up being essentially a big bowl of stir-fried shrimp and yummy veggies in olive oil and garlic with some soy sauce on the side. It was delicious and I didn't feel like I was missing out at all. So I like this place now. It still feels not very authentic as far as Asian food goes, but it's fresh and yummy. read more

I went for dinner, but it was busy and would have taken a while to get a table. However, the bar was wide open and my friend and I were quickly seated there. This worked out well as there was a handful or bartenders, but not many bar patrons. The food and drinks were pretty good, and because we spend so much time and money at the bar, the bar staff was quite kind to us. read more

Outside patio table on a sat . nite.....Ordered cocktails and appetizer...Noticed table was dirty and waited for waitress to appear with cocktails and settings to ask for rag and some water ( never offered )...But busboy brought appetizer next ( STILL NO DRINKS, WATER OR SETTINGS ) and asked him for settings and rag to clean table ..he brought settings and never appeared again with rag...( we did ask another wairess wiping down another dirty table that newly seated people complained about to help us and she did )...eventually our cocktails came but of course main courses came right after, well before finishing appetizer....and we ordered main course after receiving our late cocktails while still eating appetizer...lo-mein good...shrimp dry, waitress personable but clearly overwhelmed as service should never be like that.....think we are done with P.F. It may be commercial (and I never knew it was a chain), but the food is divine. Particular favorites include the lettuce wraps, as always, and the Ma Po tofu and Chang's spicy chicken. I've never had a bad meal here. Of particular note is the wine list which includes some New Zealand favorites (Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc is worth a try, although a gewurtztraminer might pair better with spicy Chinese food.) read more

June 11, 2021 went to PF Chang's for celebration-ended up dropping big bucks for little bang. Food overly sauced with some sweet sauce that they use on every other dish, the rice was a cold lump in a bowl, Orange Chicken for our grandson he could not eat because it had chili flakes on it, who makes Orange Chicken with chili flakes! Wrong Entree Salad , had to send back, on top of this wrong salad order brought to our table at least 10 minutes before other entrees were delivered. Flys, and more flys coming in the back door to our table by the kitchen, can only guess what the kitchen must have looked like. Very, very bad service from our waitress, if it had not been for her bussing help she would have crashed and burned. Management needs upgrading. Terrible experience will not ever go there again. Worst experience Ive had tonight at this restaurant. Waited over an hour and was told we were about to be seated then dont get sat and have to wait longer. Next we asked if they can push tables together and they said yes and proceeded to do it when someone from the bar just took our table. Instead of getting the next table that got up to push them together they gave it to another reservation. Was NOT pleased with the service from the hostess and lack of communication from them and management for caring about guest needs. Also glad to know guest that walk in are not treated the same as one with a reservation. Very upset with this service. read more

This is the restaurant of choice when I dine with my girlfriend who has celiacs - not only do they have a good selection of gluten free entrees, but they're generally prepared to answer questions about ingredients. Also good with small kids, who love to wander around and look at the horse statue, etc. That said, I'm really not that fond of the food which is a fusion Chinese that does not improve, imho, on traditional Chinese recipes. Parking when the place is busy can be difficult, involving hunting through a large back lot and/or driving a significant distance away down the strip mall. read more
