The food and serves is excellent anyone who says other wise problems enjoy's fatty fast food more than most places. I find that the items on the menu are offered in vegetarian and taste great. food comes out fast and looks as good as it taste. The wait staff takes very well care of you and if any mistakes are made that dish is on the house no problem. They once served me chicken instead of shrimp so i got both for the price of one; both of them tasted amazing as well. couldn't be more happy with this restaurant every time. Normally we have great service but today was quite frustrating! There was a wait so we went to the bar for some cocktails. We were finally seated and then waited for a server to take our order. Almost 20 minutes later we finally motioned for the Manager to ask why we hadn't been served yet let alone acknowledged. He looked at our drinks from the bar and asked how we got them (almost questioning that if we hadn't been served how could we have drinks). He never apologize but did say someone would be over right away. He never gave us his name, so I couldn't tell you who we spoke to. He spoke with the staff in an area where I could see them and all the servers were shaking their head "no" as if to say we were lying. The server walked up, never apologizing for ignoring us, and took our order. The service was great and the dood was awesome. This place used to be so good years ago, however, not the same now. 230pm on a Friday afternoon, should be plenty of seats available right? There were but the hostess tried to sit us right next to the only couple in this particular section (I hate that). I objected and asked if we could have a different seat, she gave us one but not without making it known she was pissed off. Now, let's talk about the service, or lack there of. My wife ordered a speciality (non-alcoholic) drink which the waitress said the bar would have to make, but she would be back with a water and my iced tea in the meantime. We got the tea and water, no straws were offered, a bit surprising. I eventually had to ask our waitress where my wife's drink was, she was a bit surprised as if she forgot about it but returned with it a few minutes later and the straws I had asked for. As far as the food, not as good as it used to be, honestly Pei Wei has the same stuff and IMO its better. One of my favorite restaurants in Tucson, food is fresh and has great variety, execution and it has somewhat wow factor. Consistency in flavors for same dish is not great (pat Tai) but every single time it has a special touch (different) but good enough to make you keep eating more. I strongly believe reviews are to build up instead of just voicing a complaint. And also to recognize how well business are doing. The only advice for this place to be even better is to focus on customer service when sitting parties and getting the right server. Especially if you are like me that enjoys to sit far from the bar and get a fireplace in the middle of the table when it's cold. WOW! Had a terrific experience at this P.F. Chang's location. My family and I are very familiar with P.F. Chang's because of their expansive tree-nut free (for my 8yr old daughter) and vegetarian (husband) menu options and great food. This bistro went above and beyond with their customer service. PF Changs has great atmosphere, great service and really good food. Yes it a chain, but I have never had a problem with duplication as long as you're duplicating something that is really good and P.F Changs delivers on the goodness. My wife's and I favorites are Mongolian beef extra crispy with an extra side of Mongolian sauce spicy. The extra crispy caramelizes the flavor of the beef and reduces the sauce which thickens it and makes for a heavenly flavorful sauce. You can also order it with chicken but if you do order it with the non cubed white meat chicken (its much crisper with the non cubed). If you go for lunch during the week be sure to sit at the bar for great service from Dawn the bartender. Great lady, super quick on the refills, really nice and can always make educated recommendations on food and wine. The lettuce wraps are legendary and combine the cool crispness of the lettuce with the warm and flavorful chicken for a great experience of layered temperatures and tastes. If you're in the mood for noodles the double pan fried noodles with chicken is excellent. They do have some limited lunch specials that will save you a few dollars. This place is a bit more expensive than most Chinese restaurants but the quality of the ingredients, the atmosphere and the service are a fair trade off in my opinion. I don't drink alcohol based drinks very often, but they do have a great selection of wine, draft and bottled beers, and mixed drinks should you desire a drink with your meal. read more

We have been to this place since 2006 at still come to have dinner at least once a month. The decor, the atmosphere, the food, and the service are great. If there is a six stars rating, we would give them without hesitation. Once a while the flavor is off a little but that is a minor. It locate at Campbell and River which is only ten minutes from we where live. From time to times, we planed to have dinner at Sullivan or Zin Burger but we always ended up in PF Chang. Tonight I sat at the bar with my boyfriend, but I normally sit at the booths. Service tonight was good and I actually think they give you better service at the bar because servers are always walking back and forth so they ask customers if they need anything. I honestly think the food is decent and is definitely more Americanized. It's sort of comparable to eating chipotle when craving mexican food. Personally I think certain sauces (like the one in their pad Thai) are a bit heavy. However the tofu in their pad Thai was cooked perfectly. I like that PF Changs is a chain restaurant because the food always tastes consistently good, but at the same time I think the beef broccoli and dumplings taste sort of like the chinese food from the frozen aisle. One dish I absolutely love is their shrimp with the melons. Their cranberry juice is amazing and oddly I won't drink it from anywhere else. I also like that the food is not heavy and greasy. I never feel gross or wanting to take a nap after eating here. PF changs is perfect for a family dinner, a nice lunch, or a nice dinner date especially because of their dim lighting and secluded booths. read more

Service here was abysmal to say the least. If I could rate it at zero stars, I most certainly would. I went for dinner on a Friday night after getting off work. They didn't close for approximately two hours, and the taller male bar tender was already preoccupied with busting down all his wells and doing closing duties. I managed to get his attention after two-three minutes (understandable if the bar was full, but I was the only one sitting down at the time). He reluctantly took my order, then five minutes later decided to tell me they were out of a particular dish. It always amazes me that staff members like that can become so lazy in doing their duties, that they completely ignore simple things like "oh, wait, perhaps I should make sure we still have this". For the price, you can get twice as much food from Panda Express. Even Pei Wei (which PF owns). I would be embarrassed if my staff and crew members were this lazy and disrespectful. read more

this place was aiitteee. i havent had pf chang's for maybe 10 years, but there arent a lot of lunch options near my client, so we phoned in orders and picked up. orders are ready way before the time they quote you - so that is a plus! i got the shanghai waldorf salad with chicken and miso dressing - it was pretty good. chicken was seasoned nicely, and they give you quite a few pieces. my fave part of the salad was probably the sweet and crunch walnuts and granny smith apples - haha. kale was slightly too tough - the kale salad at next door zinburger is much better treated for salad. but nonetheless - fast, friendly service and reasonable prices for a large salad! they also put all the sauces in a ziploc bag with i thought was a great touch! read more

This place sits you down at a table and forgets that you came there to eat. Sat at table for 20 minutes, no drinks, and no greeting from waiter. While we were waiting two waiters crashed into each other spilled water on my leg and were more concerned with their uniforms being wet than their customers. If you know my reviews and know a little about my style you know I am not a fan of chain restaurants. Keeping this in mind we can go from there. Went for a happy hour with our dear friends who also enjoy more casual earlier night snacks rather than a huge dinner. So at the suggestion of our friends we did the Happy Hour at P.F. Chang's. They do have quite a selection from dumplings, to chicken lettuce wraps, to sushi, plus ribs. We all had different assortments of the dishes and all of us enjoyed what we had. Can I say, was this the best Happy Hour, I don't think so, but it was tasty and amply filled us all up. The server Josh was a most delightful young man and did a great job of making sure we were happy. Went there on a Thursday for the Happy Hour which is 3-6 daily and it got really busy. I love to see that all our Restaurants are busy. Very nice ambiance, nice shopping in this outdoor shopping strip. Came for lunch. Very nicely greeted by a young hostess, so friendly. It really makes your day when someone is as nice as she was. Thank you for that. Our server seems a little condescending, but maybe that's just me. I asked if he could recommend a frappe and he said well... Our drink menu is right there. Of course it is!!! My bad. We ended up ordering a piña colada ( Virgin ) and a beer. We got our appetizer , pan fried dumplings. For some reason they were served with a spicy sauce that we hadn't had before. We tried it and ended up scraping away the spicy sauce. When my husband asked if the dumplings were always served that way he said " do we not like them? " I felt I was in kindergarten. I don't think he was purposely trying to be rude. Maybe it just came out that way. He did say he was sorry and did we want another prepared differently. By now my husband is thirsty and his drink is nowhere to be found. When our server comes near we ask about the beer and he apologizes once more and asks if the the "other person" had not brought it out. Well we wouldn't be asking if it was here! Entrees arrive and we ask the young girl who brought them if she would please bring my husband a soda , by now he didn't want the beer. A few minutes after that a very nice lady came to the table and apologized for my husband not having received his drink in a timely manner. By now I am feeling sort of bad. Anyway the food was soooo good it made up for everything else which was minor stuff!! I do have to say that after we were seated and my drink brought out I was writing this review. I have had Celiac's Disease for almost 15 years, and P. F. Changs was one of the first Chinese/ Asian influence restaurants to come out with a gluten free menu. Since then, it has been one of my favorites. Over the years the menu has changed and improved, and we have tried just about everything. As I am gluten free, my options are limited, so when I saw that they added two new menu options I was very excited. Today we stopped in for take-out to try these new dishes. We took a peek at the new menu and were unpleasantly surprised. They had removed the lemon chicken, yet again. They had redone it for their last update, which was fine, but now it was gone altogether. There was really no variation to the new gluten free menu, with limited flavor options between sweet, savory, and spicy. It was mildly disappointing, but we usually love the food, so we ordered anyway. Then the service was sub-par. We sat at the bar for several minutes before being acknowledged. I told him I was gluten free; however, he still did not provide us with a gluten free menu. I ended up grabbing one for myself from the host stand. We then waited while he waited hand and foot on a patron who had ordered takeout and had arrived several minutes after us. At first, it was no big deal. After 10 minutes, it was irritating. At 15 minutes the person was still there, apparently waiting for something that the server had forgotten. A manager came out from the kitchen and asked this other person if they had been helped. The patron said yes and, before we could even say that we had not been served, the manager disappeared. When the server returned around 5 minutes later, the patron actually informed him that we had not been served and he no longer needed help. After a total of 20 minutes waiting to order take out, we were finally approached. I then had to inform the server 4 times that our total order was gluten free. We ordered the new fire cracker chicken, the ginger chicken, egg drop soup, and shrimp fried rice. The was all packed up and served at an incredible speed. After we had waited for such a long time to be served, it was a shock. We took out goodies and returned home to enjoy. The food was bland, with little flavor. The fire cracker chicken was covered in black pepper and cilantro, reminding me more of chicken fajitas than something of the Asian persuasion. The spice was peppery without any layers of flavor and the sauce was watery. We expected the ginger chicken to have a mild sweetness, but it didn't, tasting more like the mild version of the fire cracker chicken. That sauce was also watery. The fried rice was good, but not as good as it has been before, coming off as bland and flavorless. After this visit, we were extremely disappointed. Not only was the menu limited in flavor, but the food was as well. As someone who is gluten-free, I would like variety, just like everyone else. I don't want to order 2 different chicken dishes that taste exactly the same. Considering that we spent 50 dollars on food that was sub par, we were not very happy. We will probably be back to try the other menu options, but this last visit left a not so great taste in our mouths. read more
