My review is due to my young daughter & her friend while visiting overnight had kid portion Lo mein & steamed pork dumplings. They were both up all night very sick ~ ultimately brought to the ER with food poisoning. I spoke with Cheryl the manager .. she said " no it must have been a stomach flu because I just had the same thing." I told her I'm a doctor and I don't need a tutorial about food poisoning. It was definitely food poisoning the doctors agreed. The both of them were violently ill & ate still recovering 12 hours later. I asked for a refund of my money and she said absolutely not our Dumplings are kept frozen and we sell hundreds of them a day.. SERIOUSLY? Obviously I will never return to this restaurant even for takeout aside from the food poisoning~ The manager is completely clueless & her professionalism isn't fit for McDonald's drive thru! Confusing experiences. I had a really great experience 1 time (5 stars) out of 4 recent visits. 1 x it was awful (1 star), 2 times it was mediocre (2 stars) for an average of 2.5 stars. The reasons have varied from having to have my tofu (Buddha's delight which was anything but) remade only to have it still have raw veg (unchewable) and 1 x a really small piece of ragged Chilean Sea Bass and no plates (it was the dine for 2) to share the entrée. 3x times, our bill was well over $100, so it kind of made us not want to return. The manager did comp us 2, 25 dollar gift cards, but when we used one today, again, not a good lunch. Service has been spotty as well. Wanted to enjoy ourselves, but will be going to Sullivan's or elsewhere on our next dinner or lunch out. Bummer. read more

Spring rolls , always great, the spicy green beans to die for, and an old dish that's no longer on the menu, chicken in black bean sauce, OMG, if you come order it, they will make it for you. I was erroneously charged the entire amount for our table of five. The other diners at my table were charged and debited correctly. When I called the restaurant the manager told me that it was probably a mistake and that the extra charges should drop off in several days. I was overcharged almost $200, and I need that money now, not in 3 or 4 days! The manager didn't even try to offer me anything for my inconvenience. I'll not be dining there again! The restaurant was packed, but it didn't stop the service from being nothing short of amazing. The timing of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees were on point. A few bday celebrations going on. Each table said the same thing as they were being served..."Wooowww!". A higher end Panda Express is what came to mind. Gone are the days of the server creating sauce of chili oil, hot mustard, and vinegar at your table. Insert sad face here. Lettuce wraps dry, chicken crazy sweet, noodles were just ok. Don't order the calamari. Greasy and rubbery. Was happy our server paid attention to us not eating the dish. Was going to pay and not complain. However our server took it off our bill without us asking. Overall a decent experience. Order the Red Dragon...the presentation alone will have you order a couple of them. read more

Usually the service is great but no so much on this take out order I just did. Ordered at 10 AM online for 4:30 PM pickup time. Arrived 4:45 and it wasn't ready and not only that but I then waited 12 minutes after THAT for the order. Got home and one of my items was missing but I had two additional items that were great (except not gluten-free). I can't really complain about getting extra food but this is not the way they normally handle take out orders, they're usually on top of it. I know it's a chain, I know it can be pricey, but the value is really great because the food quality is outstanding and portion size is great so I don't mind at all. Disappointing for this visit. I ordered my usual, Buddahs feast, and my guy went with the Won ton soup. He was craving ribs but changed his mind. Too bad, because he said the soup had Zero shrimp ,very little chicken and only three won tons.But it did have an exorbitantly large amount of water chestnuts. Why did he not say a thing or send it back? Because the server was not around and it took 40 minutes to get our food. P. F. Chang's is fine. Just... fine. They do decent pan-Asian food, and I will give it to them that they're definitely on top of the game when it comes to online ordering and curbside take-out. I've been quite a few times over the years; it's never my choice to go there, but I don't say no if someone else is really wanting it. My main problem is a general lack of flavor and spice in their food. When I compare their dishes to the same/similar dishes at independent Chinese/Thai/Japanese/Vietnamese restaurants, the local spots win in my mind every time. At any rate, the food isn't bad, it's just not my favorite. Among P. F. Chang's appetizers, I like the Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps, and the Shrimp Dumplings. The dumplings are well-stuffed, with good chunks of shrimp and very little filler. The Ma Po Tofu (fried tofu and broccoli in what they say is a spicy sauce but has little to no heat) is good, as are the Singapore Street Noodles (rice noodles in a light curry sauce with chicken, shrimp, egg, onion, and julienned vegetables), and the Stir-Fried Eggplant (eggplant in a sweet chili soy glaze with green onion and garlic). They also have a Pad Thai that's fine, but nothing special. P. F. Chang's food is okay, and I've never had issue with the service. But for my money, when it's up to me, I'll pick a local, more-focused restaurant every time. read more

Not sure what is going on PF Chang's but our lunch today was probably some of the worst Asian food we have ever had. One of our lunches came with "lo main", at least that is what PF Chang's calls it and the "lead" that we spoke to, questioning what it was, called it that to. Also, she could have given a crap that we were not happy with our food. It was a lump of cold noodles with absolutely nothing on it or in it, not even salt. They charge an extra $4.59 for it which, I do not mind paying, if it's something more than what a six year old could make. Not sure what has changed with the fried rice but it came in a close second to the "Lo Main". The two lunch meals came to over $50.00 and no, we did not order a drink, appetizer or dessert. We should have gone to Panda Express because the last time I was there, my sister loves it, Panda blew PF Changs away. We usually stick to the smaller, non chain, asian resturants and now I know why. read more

The very first time I went to a PF Chang's was in New Orleans and I was very impressed I was never to particular into eating Asian food but, after tasting PF Chang's I am hooked. People tend to believe that being a chain restaurant it's not going to taste as authentic but it's actually very good I haven't been disappointed not once I've gone several times since coming back to Arizona, Not only is the service excellent but the food is always hot, fresh, & quick. Some of my favorites that I like to get when I'm there are the combo fried rice , Mongolian beef , beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken , as well as the honey glaze chicken. They also offer a delicious drink menu so I'm sure there's something to please everyone. And the good thing about P.F. Chang's is that you can bring the kids & the kids menu is very cost-effective. read more

Don't know if it's the franchise or this local location but P. F. Chang's has really gone down. The lettuce chicken and the hot and spicy soup were plausible. The Mongolian beef and the shrimp lo mein both had to be reheated and were still terrible. My wife and I left thinking we could have done better at Panda Express. read more

There are so many vegetarian options for a vegetarian. I love their appetizer dishes, such as the Kung, Paul brussels sprouts, and the chili, garlic green beans. As a main entrée, I'd like the Mapo tofu with a sweet spicy red chili sauce and steamed broccoli I've been coming to P.F. Chang's for so many years, but it almost feels nostalgic at this point. As we sat there the wait time grew to 25-30 minutes with empty tables all over.. Maybe someone didn't schedule enough wait staff. Anyways our waitress was very nice and friendly but then got busy with a large group so her attentiveness declined. We ordered egg rolls and the meal. Egg rolls came out and were dripping in fryer oil. Pics attached. When we told her about it she said sorry and she'd let the cooks know. We then waited about 20 minutes for the food. I've been eating at PF Changs & this location for many years. Food is always good and consistent and I love the wait staff & bartenders. The beer is cold & the wines are nice quality. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef with fried rice. My husband gets the Short-rib rice with two side portions of grilled chicken & the Edamame! So good! So is their soup. The food is a little salty at times but you can ask for low salt - I mean it is chinese food!!. Dont forget to ask them for their trio signature sauces. P.F. Chang's serves Asian fusion cuisine. Many of their dishes are quite good. It's not authentic Chinese, but I have found tastes that I enjoy. They change the menu fairly regularly with promotions. I like what they call the "Street Fare", a collection of small plates. The dumplings are also good, and made fresh. For sushi, there are a number of maki rolls, your typical American college kid sushi. Not really my taste. For sides, I like the Sichuan green beans. The Hot & Sour soup is not authentic. I had it once. They do serve a good wonton soup, however. For the entrees, I like the Signature Black Pepper Chicken, the Mongolian Beef, the Walnut Shrimp with Melon, and the Salt and Pepper Prawns. The Ma-Po Tofu is bizarre. Perhaps people who have not had the authentic Sichuan version might like it. I actually tried to request an authentic preparation from the server... I might have well been speaking to her in Armenian. The prices tend to be on the high side. The best value I've found has been the lunch bowls, with the add-on sides. read more
