Chang's seems like they are back up to their regular service...I was seated right away, but had to wait for at least 20 min to have someone attend to me and let me know that the server was busy...I was a little agitated but Ms. Ashley, who is the hostess, came over and apologized and told me that my server is just attending to a couple of patrons and should be with me shortly. I had the most amazing birthday dinner and Adrian, our server was the best ever! He really made the day. I joined the rewards program. The food was wonderful. I got beef and broccoli and my husband got sesame chicken. I got a free edamame because I signed up for the reward program! The atmosphere is beautiful. Friend and I had lunch here today. First visit for both of us. I had Dynamite Shrimp appetizer and side of Garlic Noodles. Friend had Crispy Honey Shrimp. I ended up asking for a side of honey to dip my shrimp in (it was very spicy), and made it perfect!! Garlic Noodles were excellent. Friend really liked her Crispy Honey Shrimp. Even though I had my food delivered to me, my food was great! I ordered the combo fried rice which comes with chicken, steak & shrimp and it was so good. I loved how balanced the sauce and seasoning was inside the rice, and the hefty amount that they gave me. Beth our server was incredibly! Beth made great suggestions to drink, eat, etc. Our food came out fast and delicious! We had a wonderful salad, followed by pork egg rolls. We shared Changs Spicy Chicken, Mongolian Beef, noodles, and fried rice! It's all delicious! And the best view in Waco Texas! It's a treat my eyes and my belly! Stopped here on the way out of town for a late dinner. The Google reviews are way better than Yelp, so that was misleading. I should have known when we pulled into an empty parking lot on Saturday night that PF Changs isn't what it used to be. The ambiance of PFC used to be intimate and classy. This just felt like a fancy looking Panda Express. The hostess and waitress spoke so low and without enthusiasm we could barely hear what they were saying. We ordered dynamite shrimp, pan seared pork dumplings and crab wontons to test if we wanted entrees or not. All of them were fine but nothing special and definitely not convincing enough to order more food. We ate our apps and asked for the check. If this is a reflection of all PF Changs since it was bought out, I definitely won't be back. I'm still trying to figure out what all the Google reviews were raving about. read more

I have eaten here many times! The California roll sushi is so good, and so is the peach popping boba drink. I wish they offered more for non-alcoholic drinks, but the sesame chicken and orange chicken is amazing! The service is usually very good, once or twice it's been a little slow, but nothing to complain about. The lighting is always perfect, they have shades to pull down when it's bright outside and there are lots of windows to see the pretty Waco view. read more

Believe the reviews on Yelp! Google gives it a 4 star rating but those must be aggregate and old. We took the risk because our guests really wanted Chinese. Service was bad, food was tasteless (Why was the lo mein just sautéed spaghetti noodles with no flavor or veggies?! ) and worst of all, one of our party got food poisoning! I ordered the beef with broccoli and my husband ordered miso salmon (I think that's what it was called. He said the salmon was very good so that's the only reason I'm giving a 3 star rating instead of 2. The beef with broccoli was tough, chewy and lacked flavor. The broccoli was fine. The restaurant is older and seems a bit run down. PF Chang's has always been reliable good but sadly not his restaurant. On the bright side the service was very good. read more

I'm in Waco for the weekend. I decided to grab dinner at P.F. Chang's, as it is very close to my hotel. The first thing I noticed was that building itself looked brand new. I was politely greeted and once I was seated I asked my server if this restaurant was new and she said it had been there for about five years, but had recently been remodeled. It was very clean. My food was excellent. I had pork potstickers, orange chicken, and a beer. The service was excellent. The restaurant seemed to be a "typical" kind of busy for a Friday night dinner service. I don't know what the bad reviews are about but I would highly recommend this PF Changs if you are in Waco! read more

Anthony was so great he was talking to everybody and very nice with all his tables. He stopped to check on us as he passed by just because very nice server!! Chris who was our waiter he was so nice and respectful he was excited for Everything we got he kept us with water which I loved! The Changs Spare ribs are great and the Ma po tofu was very flavorful would definitely get again!!! However, the lettuce wraps were FLAVORLESS and the buddha feast stir fry bowl which said had 5 spices had maybe 1 spice if that!!! Flavorless. We then got the apple crisp in hopes that it redeemed the meal AND hot dog it did it was so good! Definitely worth getting. Service was great over all. Horrible, very upset. Hot and sour soup was cold very sour with no tofu. Caesar said was old and gross. And you got my order wrong. I ordered salmon told them it suppose to be salmon not orange chicken. She grabbed the plate after I had touched it with my chop sticks and took it to another table of people. Gross!. Then I had to wait for my salmon. Once I got it I retrieved my fork from the napkin to find it greasy with food and lipstick. After another wait she finally came to check on us and I gave her my fork. She brought me a second fork. It was also dirty with food stuck in the tines. She came around again and I ask for yet another fork. My husband watched her take the fork and clean it with a dirty rag used on tables and brought it back to me. She kept promising over and over that it would be better next time we come. My food was now cold at this point, the rice wasn't even cooked all the way. I really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere was nice and the our server was very attentive. My husband ordered the chicken kung pow that was supposed to come with some spicy scichua (if I spelled that correctly) sauce, but didn't. My son ordered the change spicy plate and he said that the flavor was a bit overwhelming. My husband and son usually eat all of their food, but just couldn't last night. I hope that they work on the flavor of their foods. The one amazing thing that we really did enjoy and had no complaints about was the dynamite shrimp. read more

My wife and I decided to go to Waco for a day date to have lunch on Memorial Day. This was our first time at this location and we left with a full belly and a smile! The restaurant was easy to get to and very clean. The staff was very personable especially our waiter. It was Memorial Day so it was crowded at all. The restaurant had beautiful murals on the walls and soft music playing. The food was delicious! As an appetizer we got shishito peppers and edamame. As our entree we got vegetarian lettuce wraps and crispy honey shrimp. My wife and I both needed to-go containers and our waiter bagged it for us and in front of us. A lot of restaurants don't offer that and I appreciated him putting it in the containers in front of us. Overall, we both enjoyed our lunch and we will be back again! read more

This location is great with a beautiful view while you eat. The pond was a fun thing for the kids to watch while we waited for food, even though the wait time was short. The restaurant was decently clean. The women's restroom was also mostly clean. Hope was our server and she did a great job of attending to our needs for the kids and adults. The Mongolian beef lunch bowl was delicious, but less food than those that got chicken. The children's portions are very generous. The Great Wall of Chocolate is HUGE and can be shared amongst a large table of people. Great lunch date! read more

We visited during lunch hours on a Tuesday. We were one of six tables that were being served, so it was pretty slow. Ambiance was nice, our food came out pretty quickly too. Our waitress started off super friendly, but never really came over to check on us, and it took her close to 25 minutes to come get our card to check us out which felt pretty ridiculous. We ordered the Crispy Honey Chicken lunch special and the California Roll. The Crispy Honey Chicken was out of this world! Absolutely delicious flavor and perfectly crispy bites! The noodles that it was served over were mediocre at best. My California roll came out with pieces already completely unrolled, it looked lazy and completely inexcusable. The roll tasted fine, nothing special or good about it. Overall, everything about this establishment screams gilded laziness.
