She was super nice and made me feel like her long time friend. She had a gentle touch and worked on my nails at a slow pace, which was nice. Unfortunately I will not be returning to PA Nails. My tech was Raina and while she did a good job on my nails, she was very distracted with her phone. At one point she was on a FaceTime call with a friend, after that ended she then started watching a movie on her phone as well. While she was doing my pedicure she was so entranced with her phone she literally scrubbed skin off my foot. I cannot even wear regular shoes right now because it hurts so much. While I did appreciate the time she took to make sure my nails were done nicely, I just can't look past leaving with a wound on my foot because she didn't care enough to pay attention. I'm just hoping I do not get an infection after I saw they clean their nail products and hot rocks with soap and water in the same sink we wash our nails in. There is also a dog caged in the back which just seems super unsanitary as well. Coming from OKC where the salons are significantly more strict about hygiene and their techs not being on their phones, it was just a bit shocking to see how this place is run. read more

LASHES; if your planning to get your lashes done (quick or individuals) please ask to see pictures before moving forward with this service. I asked to see pictures the woman there seemed offended as if I was asking for too much. I moved forward with the service and the woman ( first chair) ignored my request and attempted to pull my lashes off after I asked her not too. Do not go to this place if you are trying to remove your gel extensions!! They do not know how to remove them properly or safely. The woman i worked with started filing off the top gel coat of my nails and she just kept going. When i asked if and when she was going to soak them, the guy sitting next to her says that they dont soak them and that nothing can take off liquid gel accept to file them off. His exact words "you can soak them for hours and they still wont come off" -I should've just walked out then. She basically did her best to file off all of the gel leaving my nails completely uneven and weak. In the photos, you can see the striation created by her filing tool. You can also see the paint still on. And of course, after all of this, i still have gel on my nails. read more

No need to call ahead to make a reservation because when you get here, it's first come first serve. This is the reason for the 4/5 stars. There are 8 pedicure stations and more than enough stations for manicures. Delayed greeting upon walking in but my technician was a lovely 19 year old from Vietnam. Initially the salon seemed apealing, but here are some things that were red flags to me.. 1. Pedicures were not calming- always some trash on tv & the technicians are constantly talking during your time of relaxation *constantly complaining & ive hears many convos about them being unhappy with their paychecks. Where is the professionalism 2. Nail techs are inexperienced unless you only get gel polish 3. Andy is extremely unprofessional & told me he couldn't do my nails since he would be leaving to run errands ( which is fine ) but he never left & sat on his phone on a pedicure chair. I asked him to please make sure I am with someone experienced. I got taken and sat down by his aunt who forced me to change shape, was absolutely terrible with her manners, tried to make me cut down, would constantly tell me she was fixing my nails. I will not be returning. There is no price list which means they can charge whatever and they did. I sat down and waited about 40 minutes since I did not have an appointment which was fine. Someone had done a gel pedicure and was told it was $50 which shocked me. I had not been there for awhile and this was the service I went there for. I did not ask the price and there was no price list. This young girl did my toes. She scrubbed my heel which was all good but when she was done I realized she did not put the white under the neon green like everyone else does in EVERY OTHER NAIL SALON. she said to me I didn't tell her I wanted that. I shouldn't have to tell you, it's your job. Then I went to pay, I was told $55. I asked why, the owner asked her why and I guess she told them callous removal WHICH SHE NEVER ASKED ME IF I WANTED SINCE THIS WAS AN EXTRA SERVICE WITH AN EXTRA FEE. I saw nothing different from any other nail salon that she did. Then the owner says $58 cuz the callous removal is $8...something that I never asked for. Something that was never offered to me!!! I paid ..gave a tip and was on my way. My nails look like doodoo. I actually did not have the time to remove the polish but I will tomorrow. Never again. Not worth the time or money !!! Well today was the longest nail salon day ever but when i tell you the end resort was worth it, it was worth it!!!. I have not been back to PA Nails since Jason was there. After he went to Cali I didn't go back. In desperate need to get UV Gel removal and reapplication i took a chance and went there. Andy and his wife are the new owners and Andy did my nails. I am a picky and fussy person when it comes to my nails. I can honestly tell you that i sat in that chair and not once did i have to tell him what to do or how to do it. If you ask for it, they can paint on any design that you want them to. I have been to 4 other salons in the Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg area and left unhappy every time. I started coming here about 3 months ago, I had a full set on from "Doctor Nails" and they were awful, so the owner Andy took that whole set off and did my nails all over again even though they were very busy at the time! He did such an amazing job, I was honestly floored after having 4 bad salon experiences! I continue to go back every 2-3 weeks. I'm a full time bartender, so I use my hands a LOT and I've never once even chipped a nail. Sometimes I can't get to the salon for 3 weeks and still I don't have a single broken nail. They make them not only beautiful but very strong. I went back yesterday for another fill, and I had Jazleen as my nail technician for the first time (Andy usually does them). I was excited because I've watched her do other people's nails before. She spent time making everything perfect and she was so gentle.
