I paid $70 for nail tips and Gel with a cat's eye polish. I was told is Gel is better than acrylic so I went with it. She did not give a hand massage or apply lotion. A week later one fell off and another was loose. They repaired the one that fell off and only glued the loose one. I asked the lady Fernanda if that would last and she assured me that it would. two days later that nail fell off. I went back today and they charged me. it was $5 but that's not the point. My bestie left her wallet there on accident and the employees proceeded to not stop me as I was leaving even though it was out in the open and easy to see and then proceeded to not even contact me about my forgotten wallet. I am not one to complain or even write a negative review but i have to share my story so people can avoid the pain that I've been dealing with. PLEASE do not ever come here! I got a gel pedicure back in August for $85! (and still tipped $10) Just for a staff worker to irresponsibly pull a ingrown toenail that I didn't even know I have, not only did he pull it out, he then uses his fingers to hold my big toe down knowing he is causing me severe pain, when this is supposed to be a luxury experience. I could barely walk for the next few days until my toes started to turn BLACK AND BLUE, It's been over 2 months, not only was I not able to show off my pedicure because my toe looks so damage but I paid almost $100 to get an infection and not be able to walk properly TILL THIS DAY! Jennifer is very unprofessional. I don't get my done often so I do admit I was indecisive about picking a color and such during my pedicure. I eventually picked a color in plenty of enough time before it was even time to begin the polishing. She then asked me if I wanted to get my eyebrows done approximately 3 times. The 1st and 2nd time I told her I was thinking about it and the third time I agree to do them but then changed my mind. She then made a comment about how quickly I can change my mind. I absolutely love this place! The staff pays an extreme attention to detail, providing you with exactly what you ask for. I went in for a full set with a gel manicure, and was out in less than an hour. I would definitely recxomend Pro Nails! Update After a few visits, I learned Pro Nails is VERY hit or miss when it comes to the tech you get, which is very frustrating. I have had no issues with Andy doing my acrylics since last year, but today I came in without an appointment and was sat at desk 12. I come to this nail salon for the convenient location and Erik, who does the best job on my nails EVERY time. He never disappoints. However, the customer service is horrible! The owners, especially the wife, Jennifer I think, is the worst. They seem to only be nice to customers who shower them with compliments. They seem so offended when I request only Erik. They should be appreciative of my business regardless of the fact that I won't let anyone else in there do my nails. Rushed manicure, didn't even make sure all my hang nails were clipped. I was going to get a face wax after my nails dried but they didn't let my nails dry so they got messed up. I been there about 4 times to do my nails and more often to do my eyebrows. My mother told me stories about how the grandma was so rude to her and I didn't believe it until I just experienced it myself. I was getting regular polish with a fill and design and it came out to $27. Lisa was doing my nails and she smudged the clouds and sent me to dry. I went back and asked her to take the clouds off and she got really upset and said I should've told her before she was done. Like uhm you saw that you smudged it. The clouds were ugly too. I wasn't happy with it. Then my father tells her I needed another coat and she gave attitude and told him she already did which she didn't. So he tells Jen and she asks Lisa and then when my father walked away Lisa called him "stupid" under her breath. Then I went back to dry and I asked Jen how much it was now and it was still $27 even though I took off the clouds which was $5. They have terrible customer service. Their excuse was that she already finished and then I didn't like it and there was no smudge. How would I know if I don't like it unless it was finished already? Even then, if it's finished and I don't like it then why should I pay when you did a bad job? Absolutely horrible. They filed my natural nails down until they bled before adding acrylic over it. He filed my skin more than my nails and gave me attitude when I asked him to shorten them. Me and my friend were the only two people in the salon and they still set us all the way across the business from each other. This nail salon has reasonable prices ($25 for a gel manicure) and I am always pleased with my results when I go. My only concern is the cleanliness. I'm not sure if they properly sanitize their tools. For example, most nail techs there keep a bunch of nail files just sitting in a cup at their station that they use on every customer. But because of the great quality and price, I continue to go at my own risk - just wish the place was a little more mindful of sanitation. read more
