Good food, poor service. The place was packed with people so we sat and had dinner at the bar. Do order the the White Queso, it is unique and very tasty. Tacos Al Carbon is a little pricey but tastes very good. Pablo's Tea is a very smooth 3 Tequila drink. Highly recommend this drink. Even though there were 3 bartenders we did not get very good service. Delicious food, great quality, alot of food, and great margarita! First time coming here from SL and heard great reviews online and Facebook during this crazy quarantine time. So glad I came and got the fajita special. The service was great and the waitstaff was super attentive. Even when I didn't receive my margarita and had to turn around they already had the drink ready in hand for me to come by to pick up since it was forgotten. Got a recommendation from my Dentist to try this place, So glad I did! I knew the place must good because there was a line, but after a 25 minute wait we got our table and were not disappointed! Best cheese enchiladas I've ever had (most cheese ever). Margaritas were good too... Mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm! After passing by so many times, we finally tried the food via curbside pickup. We were not disappointed. My go to are the sour cream fajitas. They are seasoned just right! We dined in over the weekend and we're pleasantly surprised at how nice the place is. The wait was 25-30 minutes on a Friday night. Not much social distancing going on, but the masks are required. My husband received a gift card for his birthday for Pablo's from his cousin because she thought the restaurants food was life changing. Last Sunday night, we decided to utilize the gift card and try Pablo's Mexican Kitchen for the first time. The restaurant was packed for a Sunday but the wait was only estimated to be 15 minutes for the two of us. While we waited, we were able to sit at the bar and order are drinks including the margarita pictured. Within less than 15 minutes, we were seated at a table. Our waiter was extremely friendly and quick. The waiter was able to provide us a recommendation when we were unable to decide between two different options. Pork tacos or Texas Chili Enchiladas? He quickly recommended the Enchiladas. After reading some of the reviews on the crawfish Enchiladas we were hesitant to order them but my husband was glad he did. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite and then a few bites of mine!! Let me step back to the most important item we ordered. The queso! Pablo's serves white queso, and wow!!! It's delicious! We highly recommend getting a large bowl if your a queso lover....ours didn't even have a chance, gone in minutes!! The salsa served at the table was extremely tasty too, lots of cilantro! Yum! Now back to our Enchiladas. Both the crawfish and Texas chili enchiladas were tasty!! We both got a side of rice that is served with the meal, in addition to your choice of beans. The whole meal was good and I ended up taking the left overs home because I stuffed myself with the queso. In conclusion, even if your not an enchilada fan, we recommend giving this place a try and trying something else. They even have ribs!! Enjoy! read more

Met some friends for happy hour on Monday @ 5:50pm but apparently no happy hour prices like it said on the menu. First I Ordered a Margarita at bar, but no HH! We sat down at a table and My friend asked if it was happy hour and server said I'm not sure, but I'm sure it will be. ??? Umm ok! Then she gave Margarita happy hour prices Only to one of us on our bill. WTH? At least food was great and the server did great over all. This is mexican food for white people. Flavorless and cold the tortillas were very obviously store bought compared to a place like Ninfas where they are homemade!! My chicken was dry and unseasoned and the beans and rice were salty and stale. Even the chips and salsa were nasty. The chips were very stale and the salsa wasn't evenly spicy. I spent $30 on tacos and some nasty beans and rice. Save your money and go to Ninfas to get you some good mexican food or go support one of the local taco trucks who have way better food! read more

It's VERY hard for me to give a Mexican restaurant 5 stars because usually something is lacking, so to be able to give Pablos 4 stars says a lot for me. I have heard great things about Pablo's and finally tried it. Their margarita selection is amazing and their salsa is some of the freshest I have tasted. They have white queso which is always a great start. Ordered the combo with one enchilada and one taco to try each. Sour cream chicken enchilada was hands down one of the best I've tried. Taco, eh was just ok. Do love that they have black refried beans. Their rice is nothing special. Over all great food and a fun atmosphere. This is the place to go for local Mexican food. The trick is to go on a weekday and avoid going during peak times like Friday or Saturday night. When they are not in the weeds, this place is amazing. I'll recommend their white queso, their triple dip appetizer, the chicken salad, and the fajitas. Their service is so great and their attention to detail is absolutely special. Most times we have been there our waiter asks and checks on us. We have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes before someone refills the glass or refills the chips. If you do go during a peak time CALL AHEAD. They don't do so reservations so if you don't call ahead you may find yourself waiting an hour and 15 minutes. We are so lucky we called ahead on a Friday night because our wait was only 15 minutes. I'm rating it 4 stars because some of the staff is really special but others are not detail oriented and forget to bring you chips and salsa when you order the dip, or forget to bring you the togo box, or don't bring you the beans you ordered for the baby. This does not happen every time so I will say maybe they had a bad day or the person was new. I definitely will be going back to this place and taking my parents. Highly recommend. Here is the list of things that went wrong: - Food was cold , so cold i had to microwave for over 1 minute. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ROCK SOLID QUESO - the fajita for two was all onion barely any meat. It felt like fajita for one with extra onion. Honestly it felt like I got someone else's order. - my soup was much smaller than what I got in the restaurant. For a $10 cup of soup, I know it should not be that tiny. - i hate pico. I made a note not to have pico. And still came with pico I spent $70 on my take out lunch and I received taco cabana level food. I used to love dining in here, but clearly, the restaurant can not keep up with demand or management/ chef need to be changed. read more
