Pablo's is our go to Tex-Mex spot. They do a great job with service and food quality. I love the fajitas! If you like spice, make sure to ask for the habanero seasoning. It is perfect. My favorite dish is a new offering, Snapper Diablo. It comes with brussel sprouts that are out of this world. My wife likes the spicy ground beef tacos. They are seasoned very well. read more

This place is definitely quite a ways from home but I saw the reviews and felt it was worth the drive. Arriving here I was very impressed by the overall look of the restaurant. We came on a Friday night around 9 o'clock and there was still a good amount of people which made us feel like we made a good decision. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the host in the front and he had such a funny personality. Great job on the hiring management!! Our server was Rennisha. She was very helpful and sweet. She was fast on her feet and got everything out pretty fast! I ordered the chicken Diablo and so did my friend. We added an extra side of flour tortillas.. My friend also ordered a beer Rita. Ihad to taste the beer Rita and it was spot on and very good!! The chicken Diablo definitely came with Tex mex style chicken but the habenero sauce was so amazing!!! Definitely made me forget about the texture of the chicken. The chicken had a rubbery and slimy feel to it.. But it was so much better with its smothered in the Habanero sauce and cheese. What a great restaurant. Red sauce is really good. We tried their guacamole and it was excellent. Cheese enchiladas and beef fajitas are very good. Only reason for one less star was our waiter. I didn't know what to expect when I first went here with a friend. We went there for lunch and I must say not bad. The fajitas were ok I had beef but wished I had gotten chicken it looked better. Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my family here. Pablo's is a lively (not intimate or quiet) atmosphere with fantastic food. Upon arriving, our hostess sat us in between 2 full tables, which we found odd because there was a whole row of empty tables in the adjacent row, providing an opportunity to stagger tables. The staff was, however, all wearing masks. Our server, Stefan, was really nice and recommended the seafood enchilada, which I ordered a la carte. It had scallops and shrimp in almost every bite and came topped with a delicious white wine sauce. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and the service. We will definitely be back! read more

The food is always good. Our kids love eating here, and it as a tradition everyone they pass to another grade in school. We probably eat here once per month. The restaurant is loud as hell. Disappointed in their take out. This place is pricey, but food is usually on point. I ordered fajitas for 4 with a large queso and large guacamole. The bag of free chips was half full, and we all got one tiny salsa to share. Guacamole was a tiny scoop on a bed of lettuce. Queso was not warm, and starting to harden. Fajitas were room temp. When we entered the establishment we were greeted by the Hostess, which seems to not happen as much at other restaurants. She asked for my name, how many were in my party, which was 7, and my phone number. She said it would be about 45 mins and it turned out to be less. They sat us in a roomy booth. The ledge on the booth needed to be wiped off but overall the rest of the restaurant was clean. Our Waiter was nice but soft spoken. There was no special for the night. The chips and salsa were good. The salsa had a nice smokey flavor. We ordered some Queso which was good. I ordered Shrimp and Mahi Mahi soft tacos. I choose the refried black beans with the Cilantro rice, both very good. It was on the pricey side for Mexican food but we will go again. We may try during the week rather than a Saturday. read more

Fantastic neighborhood TexMex that does everything well. Had dinner there with friends recently and ordered seafood enchiladas and chicken quesadillas...they were both very good...Pablo's also does the side orders well, not as just an afterthought, from the charro beans, to the guacamole and don't forget to ask for the cilantro rice, it is quite good. My daughter told us to try this place because she said it was just as good as Pappasito's but cheaper. Pappasito's is really the only Mexican restaurant that I go to until now. The shrimp quesadilla was outstanding and so was the fajitas. The chips are thin and hot when they arrived. The pico was fresh! All in all, a great experience! This spot is one of my faves for many reasons but first and foremost I'll start with their totally tasty tacos, unequivocally yummy quesadillas and last but not least mucho bellisimo margaritas. Literally the quesadillas are large enough for sharing and ya might wanna do just that because there's so many delish items on the menu it's virtually impossible to choose, sharing several each is clearly the easier (guilt-free) way of ordering. To top off all the awesomeness Pablo's has to offer, the service is fantastic and their general manager happens to be a legacy player for the Pecan Grove Hurricanes which is the team my sons both played for!!!!! Sigh. I am not one to give out one star ratings. Having spent years working in the restaurant industry- I can be quite forgiving. Husband and I dined here for the first and last time this evening. The food was ok but the service was just not good. Not that anyone was rude but just oddly not good. Issues with wrong food and speed of service. The parking lot and the restaurant was packed. We got seated right away. That was great. We were sat in a room that is off to the side- somewhat enclosed in glass- and a fairly large group was in there. Really loud and i usually could handle that but I couldn't hear my husband talking at all. So we moved tables (something I rarely do). We ordered appetizers and only got one out of the two we ordered. We waited. And waited. And it never came. The second appetizer - which was guacamole- took too long so we canceled it. Over 10 minutes between when we got our nachos passed. Odd that a cold dish took longer than nachos. Anyway - we ordered food and my husband and I got the same thing. Pretty easy. I also ordered a side of sour cream. Food came. No side of sour cream. Asked the gentleman who brought our food about it. He said he'd get it. Never came. After the food came out we realized we got cheese enchiladas instead of the beef ones we ordered. It's so loud in there I can see how beef sounds like cheese I guess. We told our waiter and he graciously got us beef ones. Never got the side of sour cream...but was on the check. Listen. For those who know my husband and I and our dining habits- we are usually the ones that establishments remember. We usually have a lot of fun with our servers and our tips tend to be close to 100% of the bill when pleased. Clearly people love it here and that's great. Just wasn't great for us. read more

Good food and beverages compromised by high prices, lack of parking and really loud dining area. We came in here for supper with the idea of trying something new. I'm not sure we will come back. The problem is the lot is really small so we had to park behind an urgent care center and walk. For starters we ordered their large guacamole. When it came I had to ask The server if they accidentally brought the small. No, the large is two baby scoops of guacamole ...$7.95 Main courses were better. The food was really good actually. The dining area is really LOUD! Maybe 95 dBA. So loud you have to scream to talk, which only makes things worse. read more

I like this place because it's basically Pappasitos but more conveniently located to my house. Their happy hour nachos were really good and my mom enjoyed the margarita. For Mother's Day we got the fajitas for 2 all beef ($45). -Meat was delicious and tender -Grilled onions were undercooked and not grilled enough -Tortillas were awful like store bought from the fridge. Also for a pound of fajitas they gave us 4..... that's ridiculous. Should definitely ask for extra when getting to-go. -Beans and rice fine nothing amazing -Garlic butter sauce and green sauce were extra which is so annoying. Hate when places nickel and dime. They were good though. You would think since they essentially took Pappasitos entire menu and cooking style why not provide these for free as well just like they do. :) Prices are high in my opinion but that's basically every good Mexican food now - Pappasitos, el tiempo, Lupe,etc. I would recommend just bothers me they charge for little things. read more

Delicious food - bad service. We sat at the bar, it wasn't busy, on a Tuesday night. There were about three other people sitting there with two bartenders. We received the occasional "are you ok" from our service, but nothing that would pass as good service. The only smiles we received were from the hostess and the person who brought our food. Now onto the food, we started off with queso. Their foods were along the line of Pappasitos, with the quality and the price that matched. We really enjoyed it, but just tainted for the lack of friendliness. The dishes were prepared well, with ample servings, which was great for the high price. We didn't understand why we received one set of tortillas (with 3) when both of us had plates that came with tortillas. It didn't take until we almost finished that our server came back, but by then we'd rather just take more tortillas home. We wanted dessert, or at least see what they had since a tray went by us for another table, but a check was dropped off then. Definitely irritating. read more
