We have never had any real issues here but what I witnessed tonight, we will never go back. A nice looking woman with her 2 sons walked in. One of the sons had an emotional support dog. The dog was well behaved, had the proper vest on. They were told that the restaurant didn't allow support animals anymore and were told to leave. The son was visibly upset and walked out. I followed them out and asked the mother if they were ok. She told me that her son suffered from panic attacks in crowded places like restaurants. The family told me that Olive Garden allowed support animals and left to go there. Long time customer, LAST TIME PATRON!! Never again Pablo's. I hope others reading this will follow me and not let them treat others like this. Very sad! read more

Food and vibe are good. It can be loud and crowded at times so if you want to avoid a wait, avoid the dinner and lunch rush. It is pricey but I think the food is worth the price point. Give some of the fish options a chance, the salmon is delicious. read more

Place is so over rated, I can't understand any excitement in this establishment. I've only been once (since they made such a great impression on me) and I ordered Fajitas for two and these genius' brought out some descent combo meat but it literally came out with : Meat, beans/rice and tortillas. Now that might not seem odd to you in the slightest, but when I asked for the pico, lettuce ect, I was told it would be extra. First time to be charged for the rabbit food in my life. If that seems a little petty, I would just add, have you ever had fajitas without pico? Weird. Also, the manager promised to send a coupon in the mail twice, and Never sent anything! So my wife and I heard about this place and decided to try it. We ordered margs and beef fajitas. Our server was super nice and very helpful. I am giving this place a 2/5 star bc the beef did not taste right. My wife's plate had beef that was basically all fat. I did tell the server, who brought her more, but the tastes just want right. Overall, we loved the drinks and our server was extremely helpful and nice. However, the taste of the food really lost our service for this place. Not sure if we came on an off day since it was a Thursday night, but we probably won't be coming back. Unless it's for drinks only. read more

We ordered delivery from here, ordered the Jamie plate, the pork enchilada the meat tasted ok, the pork tamale was in the top 5 worse tamales we have ever had, beef taco just ok, the churro beans were bland The pork tacos were horrible Now, let's go back to the tamale, who puts American chili on a tamale? Never seen that before in my life, I was expecting Chili gravy like in Mexico, no this Mexican food snob was not impressed with that Needless to say it was not worth $41, oh and the portion size was small, usually order Mexican food and 1 main course can feed the both of us! Very tasteful food. I had the salmon with vegetables and a side of brochette shrimp. The service was very good as well. The waiter made sure our drinks were always full. Parking is a nightmare so the evening started out less than great! There are 4 take-out spaces that were all empty but they have customers circling the parking lot for a place to park...ridiculous and the manager was rude! The food and drinks are actually really good which was a nice relief after finally parking! There's a great happy hour and dinner menu with a variety of dishes to choose from. Our waitress, Lauren was amazing. She recommended the perfect entrees and margaritas for us. I'd return but not on a Friday! read more

Eh ... we were expecting a lot more from this place. It was a very busy night during a Astros World Series game. The wait was only about 15 min so that was not bad. There is very limited waiting space at the front. Just one bench that fits about 8. So we were awkwardly standing in the doorway for most of it. The restaurant is very nicely designed so that you can see the TVs from almost anywhere so that is good for games. The service was scattered likely from the games. We were waiting quite awhile for drinks and for our order to be taken. We had 3 adults with us and one of our guests received their food 15+ minutes before our food arrived. So he was sitting there letting the food get cold while we waited for ours. We asked for a manager and he seemed really kind of rude like he did not care that the food came out so slowly. He was almost sarcastic with us. Then the server was overly apologetic like it was all her fault but we still couldn't get refills on our drinks and our food orders were still missing some items. My food was a bit over cooked and had little flavor. I would try this place again when it wasn't as busy. The enchiladas and fajitas had good reviews from our group but the service and management were a miss. read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars for being a solid choice for dependable cheap eats. Particularly the tortilla soup here is an amazing value. They put what seems like half a chicken worth of meat into the soup with all the toppings you'd expect for under $8. I've seen other more expensive, trendy Mexican places totally fail with tortilla soup. This isn't a date night place or somewhere you'll impress someone who demands only the best. You also wouldn't have a company Xmas party here or some other large or important event. It's a good lunch and quick dinner destination. They do have a full bar, and a decent happy hour. Not a bar nor happy hour I would regularly go to, but I would go. Overall solid choice for quick food on the go. I think you will be satisfied but won't write home about it. Works for me. read more

So glad I got invited to this spot! It's a great local tex Mex joint with some killer eats. I was there to meet up with friends and chill. We had some happy hour drinks and appetizers. The beef brouchette is their take on the shrimp brouchette. It's still a jalapeno slice wrapped in marinated steak with a bit of cheese. Served over grilled onions, it's AMAZING!! We also had green Chile chicken tamales....so good! All the margaritas were slamming! This place got everything right. WINNER!!! read more

You do get chips and salsa at the table- which was average flavor wise but still good. I had the crawfish enchiladas with refried beans and rice. Everything was really delicious and well seasoned. We had an amazing meal tonight. We were there celebrating my sister's birthday. Our service was so amazing. Emily was our server tonight. She was super sweet and very hospitable. Johnathan came by to help refill our water. He was so funny and came back several times to visit with us! Funniest guy in the room! The steak fajitas and shrimp brochettes were amazing as usual. I like the fajitas and lamb chops (surprisingly they do a great job with). Other items are just okay, especially for what they're charging these days. They also have a good margarita. Last time i ordered the chick enchilada and it was cold inside, these wasnt even melted. Tastes like a frozen dinner. 10 for chips and small guac! Crazy. And overall pricing. In the end she was right about having to take them home but because of my pride and ego I made sure to eat all six quesadillas in the setting. Pablo's is definitely the best TexMex place around the Richmond area because: 1) the food is consistently delicious 2) the service is great 3) it doesn't smell like an armpit when you walk in (I won't mention which Mexican place close by does). I love getting their Taco/Quesadilla combo or the cheese enchiladas! Can't beat the quality or price. One drawback to Pablo's is the parking. The server let us know that the AC had broken earlier in the summer and was fixed but still wasn't working at full power. I could tell. It was uncomfortably hot in there. Again, I love Pablo's!! What a treat! My husband and I wanted to have a lunch gathering with my parents. Since they live a bit far from is, we decided to meet in-between and come here. I have heard about this place but never tried it out. I'm sure glad we did because the place was fantastic. Once we entered, we greeted and seated by one of the hosts up front. We were then immediately greeted by our waiter and got our drink orders as soon as we sat down. He gave us the complimentary chips and salsa soon after. The chips and salsa were fresh, not stale like some other places. We ordered the following: white queso, lunch beef fajita, lunch combo chicken and beef fajita, beef enchiladas, and a new snapper menu item. Almost everything was perfect. Beef was tender and flavorful, enchiladas had the right amount of kick, and the snapper was not dry. Unfortunately my mom's chicken was dry, so she just ate the beef. Other than that, it was almost perfect. By the time we were done eating, we all left full and happy. Next time we go, I'm going to try the tres leches cake. All in all, I would recommend coming here if craving Mexican or Tex-Mex as they have both types of cuisines. I was beyond satisfied and am happy to have discovered another gem in Katy. read more

Kitchen is behind glass; so you can see what is happening there. My "Classic Margarita" on the rocks was good although they forgot my request to salt the rim. I was well supplied with chips and salsa. Chips were just a bit stale but not worth making an issue of it. I had soft shell pork tacos with charro beans and Mexican rice. Beans were delicious. Rice was good. Tacos were OK. Not the flavor I was expecting but definitely edible. So, overall OK. Probably not where I will go for Mexican food next time. read more
