To go order was delicious and very tasty! All items were correct and fresh. Quick. I highly recommend!

We had Molo enchilada, Cameron Sope, Vegetable Sope and Pollo Sope. We loved it! The chips and salsa were fresh and the house made sauce was excellent! If your in Eureka, you have to eat here!

Sadly, I would have to say this is three stars at best. Our server was very nice but a little awkward. The setup is not great inside. Based on the reviews we anticipated a better experience. The food was blah and despite our low expectations was just so so. Salsa was watering and flavorless. The chips were stale. The sampler platter was eh. You had to dip everything in queso to give it some flavor. The other dish was a three item combo with a beef taco and two enchiladas. They use cabbage here instead of lettuce which was a nice difference. The margarita was the 4 star experience. Although very tart and sweet it kicked my butt. Definitely got a buzz. I would not recommend or return based on this experience although many have given it high ratings.

This is hands down some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I think the secret lies within their tortillas. They hand make their tortillas in house, so every tortilla item you order is made fresh. You can also see them making the tortillas there in the kitchen as you are sitting at your table. You can't beat a meal that is made fresh in the kitchen. The employees are extremely nice and attentive. Our waitress always made sure we had what we needed. We tried the pachanga sampler (pictured). It came with nachos, taquitos, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, and queso dip. This specific dish runs about $20, but like I said before, all of the tortillas involved are freshly made, and the food is absolutely delicious!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in the county! Family owned, wonderful service every time and the salsas are delicious, especially the cabbage salsa!

Monday at pachanga. Housemade poppers, you can get anything like it anywhere else round here..a must have..potato flautas, also a completely unique itrm..gotta have em both.. everytime! Lots of places closed on mondays, but pachanga is open, and always dishes out consistent goodness! Large jamaica to drink, a must have!

This is our favorite restaurant in Eureka. Fresh and locally sourced. Nothing beats a premium margarita with fresh poppers. Yum!

Delicious Homemade Mexican Food--The Perfect Post-Hike Meal!…read more We came here for dinner after a long day of hiking in the redwoods and were so glad we did, as the food was incredibly tasty and satisfying. Oaxaca Grill is a wonderful, family-run restaurant in downtown Eureka, operated by the parents, Carmen and Tony, and their daughter, Yuri. Carmen is the main chef, and you can truly taste the care she puts into making amazing homemade Mexican food. The ambiance is casual and cozy. We were traveling as two families and easily found tables on a Tuesday evening for an early dinner. The main dishes completely hit the spot: * Garlicky Soft Prawn Tacos: My wife ordered these, which were served with sautéed onions, fresh garlic, and the most amazing, flavorful mango salsa on the side. * Spicy Oaxaca Chicken Mole: I got this special dish, which featured a tender chicken breast topped with authentic, spicy Oaxacan mole. This mole is savory, rich, and incredibly flavorful, made from thirty imported Oaxacan ingredients. It came served with yummy rice and beans. * Prawn Soft Tacos: We also ordered these, and they were fantastic, paired with a crisp jicama coleslaw. * Kids' Dishes: Our children ordered from the children's plate options. My son got the chicken enchiladas, which came with fries and beans, and he absolutely loved it. My daughter had the cheese and bean burrito, which she really enjoyed as well. * Desserts: To wrap up the meal, we tried the coconut flan and the crème brûlée. Both were a sweet end to the night, and the crème brûlée in particular was absolutely amazing. Overall, it was a fantastic, comforting dining experience with wonderful hospitality. If you are in downtown Eureka, this family-run spot is highly recommended!

Parking was street parking and easy to find. We were seated right away, and service was great! We ordered a carnitas burrito and a few pastor tacos. I'm still all about the chile relleno burrito so the last time we went I ordered one with carne asada and it was literally the burrito of my dreams. This time when we went inside I noticed a hand written sign above the cash register that said "The Raliberto" which was basically my chile relleno burrito plus carne asada, so I ordered it. I cut it in half, took a picture this time and noticed it wasn't the same, it had cheddar cheese instead of that delicious white cheese the relleno comes with, and I don't think the poblano was battered and fried, it was just a plain pepper that was stuffed with cheese- it was still very tasty just not the burrito of my dreams. I'm thinking since it was a special, they may have run out of the regular rellenos or perhaps they were cutting costs but next time I'll just stick with the regular chile relleno burrito. We also picked up an order of their other special, carne asada rolled tacos, which definitely don't need the added carne asada because guacamole is all them tasty suckers need but we snarfed it all down. I don't know when we'll be driving through again but this is a really solid spot that I'll always think of fondly.

It was two small enchiladas with ground beef. The food had a slightly odd smell to it, the ground beef was really overcooked, and there wasn't even any cheese with it. I'm definitely not impressed, and it wasn't worth what I paid for it. The only good thing was that the staff were friendly.

They also have Guatemalan items for sale over at the register. I decided to go for the garnachas, which is a Guatemalan street food, similar to a sope. These were like little mini sopes. . The corn masa cake base was delicious, and it was not over fried. The ground beef was seasoned very well, the veggies gave it a nice pop of freshness. The cheese was great, and I especially loved the sauce. The sauce just brought it all together. There was a little pile of jalapeño, onion, and carrot in the middle. I didn't touch the jalapeño. I tried the carrot and the onion, but they were too spicy for me. Not a big deal. It was a nice lite lunch, and with soda, tax and tip, the price was very reasonable. I definitely want to come back and try more items off of this menu. Thank you.
