If you're thinking about taking your vehicle to Pacific Auto Care on Charleston & Eastern, I strongly encourage you to think twice based on my personal experience. The biggest issue wasn't even the repair it was the customer service. Communication was almost nonexistent. Instead of receiving updates, Having to keep calling just to find out what was going on with my own car. Every time being told, "It'll be another day or two," those days came and went with little to no communication. What was supposed to be a short wait turned into several days of uncertainty. Then how are you gone go through someone's car and not communicate or put things back the way your found it. What was disappointing the most was the way of being treated ,As a customer, you expect honesty, respect, and professionalism especially from the owner. Instead, left feeling dismissed, frustrated, and unwelcome. Getting your car repaired is already stressful enough. The last thing anyone should have to do is chase down answers or feel like they're being treated as an inconvenience. Everyone deserves to be kept informed, treated with respect, and valued as a customer. This experience was bad , and because of it, I can't recommend this shop to others. read more

Told me my car wasn't reading any codes that it'll be 150$ to get that working before even telling me my problem, that was a complete lie. Went to This establishment I believe November or December of last year to purchase two used tires. I will admit I did get a fair price, when asked if I should have the tires balanced who was ever in charge be rated being made me feel like I was stupid and I didn't know what I was talking about. And said that used tires don't need to be balanced, but you would balance if I want to waste my money. found out recently after visiting another tire shop that a used tire indeed does need to be balanced, and that explained why my steering was a little rough. read more

These people take advantage of people. Over charged on everything. Went in for an air filter and to change new spark plugs, but when I get my car and it's supposed to be ready, it starts misfiring. I brought it back and they made me get a valve cover casket set, and again gave me the car and still misfiring while charging me another labor fee when they didn't fix it the first time or second! Then finally he changes one ignition coil and up charges me $95 for a coil when they're sold for $45 and then on top of that charged me another $50 for labor when all he did was take two screws out and then put them back in. Worst mechanic experience I've ever had. Then he tells me it's gonna cost like 500 to 600 to change the rest of my coils. That's insane. read more

Don't believe the hype. I was referred to this guy, Delfino last month because of malfunction with head lights staying on. He wasn't there, so another young mechanic began trying to diagnose. He couldn't. Delfino shows up aproximately 2 hours later and begins to diagnose the problem. He took off the door panel, and tells me that the issue is in the dashboard and that will cost a lot. So, I said, killswitch, how much? He says $30. Delfino leaves again. My car is sitting there, and this guy is gone for close to 2 hours with nobody working on it. Some other dude comes in and says he's got a problem with his transmission. Delfino pops up, starts working on his car right in front me. He finally get around to mine. I left to go get smtg to eat. It was about 40min when they called me to say he was done. When I got there, Delfino and this weird looking guy in a Dallas Cowboys hat, whispering to each other as they put the bill together. A whopping $349.39! Dude charged me 3.50 hours labor and diagnostics at $262.50. He never mentioned the cost until I was there at the counter. There's no way in hell I would have agreed to $349.39 for a damn killswitch. He got all these good reviews that he's so wonderful. It's like my grandma use to say, "You don't have rob somebody but ONE time to be crook." Everything is the facts in this post. If he says anything different, he's a crook and a liar. So, I guess you can take your chances and visit him on a day he feels like being honest. read more

I had my car repaired there and I would recommend this business to anyone who needs honest mechanics. They fixed my car within a couple of hours and the price was fair!! The mechanics are friendly. Scammers!!! Do NOT take your car here!!!! 1. I'm a female visiting vegas and my car broke down and these pple totally took advantage. 2. Dropped off car because friend knew a friend that knows the owner and told me mechanic will take a quick look and let me know what the problem is. 3. Mechanic does a $180 diagnostic test without asking me and won't release my car till I pay 4. Car is old and to fix it costs more than the car ...why would you do a diagnostic test for an old car and without asking me???? I ended up junking the car so it's ridiculous they did this test!!! 5. Called 5 other mechanics and they all said they would have asked me as it ranges from $85 and up for the diagnostic test but also wouldn't have done it since it's an old car! 6. They refused to give my car to the junk guy till I paid at least $80! Total ripoff!!!! Please don't take your car here!!!!! read more

I just bought a 2004 Jaguar from Florida and it arrived with a check engine light. I brought it to Delphino who has solved complex problems my vehicles have had in the past. I asked Dephino to order spark plugs and he suggested to first check to make sure they were required to fix the check engine light. I own a 2005 VW Touareg that was driving very rough, and my check engine light came on. Desert VW quoted me almost $2000 for a new transmission, even though they weren't even sure that was the problem. Pacific Auto Care diagnosed bad spark plugs and a hole in the vacuum hose. I've been going to Pacific Auto Care for about 3 years now. Started going once I began dating my boyfriend who has been going here for years. Delfino and his staff are great. They are very thorough and don't try to pressure you into getting something that you are not there to get right at that moment. But they will let you know if you will need new brakes or new tires very soon-both that I have gotten including the occasional oil change. Definitely get your car serviced here.
