Tracy always does the most amazing job on our cars. We've been coming here for years and always recommend them to people.

A few days ago, I summoned up the courage to try out a new place that's closer to me to take care of my car. I'm very picky about my car wash and very loyal to my favorite one - the only problem is my favorite one is a 45 to 60 minute drive away. Seeing the reviews on yelp, I felt confident I would get an amazing job done with Tracy. I am guessing their forte is really more in detail work, but I did call a few days ago to ask if they did car washes and he said they did, and quoted me "around $35," which is almost twice what I pay for with my favorite car wash. I thought, "OK, their work must be really good and have a lot of effort put in," especially because of the reviews. Tracy reassured me that it would get done quickly, around 40 minutes, and that I wouldn't have to wait very long and my car would get "waxed up and everything" and I'd get taken care of. Fast forward to the actual day... sad to say I didn't have the same experience everyone else here did, nor were the expectations that were set by Tracy met. We arrived for the appointment and he didn't seem sure of what would be done to my car for the $35 and the "quick" wait time turned into about a 1 to 1.5 hour estimate and I was reassured once again that once I see their work, I would want to "take care of them." For $20-25 at my favourite place, my car's exterior gets smoothed down, my dash and tires dressed, interiors vacuumed, plus air freshener within an hour. Waterless, too! We came back after 1.5 hours and the car wasn't done yet and when we were told it was done, one of the tires was still foamy, and there were some seemingly obvious areas that needed wiped down. If we weren't running late for our next appointment, we would have pointed out a lot more stuff. The dash area wasn't even dusted or dressed, and the exterior of my car wasn't as shiny, much less smoothed out, and they said it would cost extra to do so, and also to buff up some scratches. It's cool it's a family business, but for twice the cost and the lackluster job, I'm not coming back. 1.5 to 2 stars as Tracy (and his brother Marcus) seemed to be nice enough, but at times, I also felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. :( read more

I've used these guys in the past and they do a good job of detailing my car. Today they even did the engine and removed the front seats to retrieve the stray Jelly Bellies and petrified McDonald's french fries. I recommend getting an estimate first; not all cars are the same. They gave me a ride home and then delivered my car when it was done. Very convenient! One caveat: you will have to drive s-l-o-w-l-y towards the beach on Aviation b/c they can be a little hard to find. read more

Glen Nelson was awesome!!!!!! He is a hard worker and he made my crappy and discusting Honda Civic look BRAND NEW. I almost cried when I saw my car. The also picked me up from work and dropped me off. Lastly, he repaired a broken headlight for only $20. I HIGHLY recommend him!!! read more

I can say without hesitation that Pacific Auto Cleaning is the best auto detailing company in the South Bay. In my 15 years here, I've tried most of the mainstream and boutique places in El Segundo, Manhattan/Hermosa/Redondo Beach, and Torrance. I first came to Pacific Auto Cleaning about 8 years ago to have my SUV detailed. After that, I tried many other places to get a feel of what was out there, but I always kept Pacific in the back of my mind because nothing else compared. In the past few years, I really let my cars go, so when I wanted to get a detail, I remembered the place I'd used 8 years before. The experience was that memorable! What makes Pacific the best in the South Bay? 1. Quality: Tracy walked around the vehicle and did a full assessment, and I also pointed out several scratches, door dings, a scraped bumper, and oxidized wheels that a wheel shop told me would need to be restored. Additionally, I pointed out a small dent and Tracy said he could take a look. When I got my car back, my almost-23-year-old Lexus looked like it just drove off the showroom floor. I've never seen old paint brought back to life in this way before. I'll let the pictures do the talking here, as they speak volumes. Inside and out, amazing. 2. Value: Their pricing is quite a bit less than the competition- that even includes the mobile guys. Much of the competition will charge a base rate for the detail, and then nickle and dime you with the touch ups- the paint and labor is very expensive, they claim, so they will charge by the touch up. Pacific is so far at the other end of the spectrum- Tracy provided me with a maximum price in the case the vehicle needed the maximum amount of work. But I'd also asked him for some extra work beyond a regular detail, like removing oxidation from my headlights and my alloy wheels (that latter of which another detailer told me would require a wheel shop for restoration), removing 60lbs boxes from my trunk to get to the trunk mat and clean it and then putting everything back in, dying some rough spots in the leather that had lost their color, and working on a small dent. Just the wheels themselves would be a huge job- they were very badly oxidized. Not to mention the leather dying and dent removal. They also included a full engine detail. When I came in to pay, Tracy hadn't added ANYTHING extra for the additional services I'd requested! Talk about value- you can bet I left him a nice tip! 3. Friendly service: Some other detailers will try to impress you by explaining technical details- the quality of the waxes and buffers and solutions they use, how they don't use machines and it's all done by hand, etc. They do it all by hand and only use the best, too, but they don't sell you on any of that unless asked. Tracy and team know you just want the best result out the door- that's what counts. Tracy didn't try to sell me anything unless I asked. Took my 2011 Kia Sorento to these guys today and was completely amazed at the job they did on the interior and exterior of the vehicle. They even detailed the engine and engine compartment. You could literally eat off it. The car was so dirty after 4 years of grubby kids beating it up, I didn't know if it would ever come clean. I would go to bed at night hoping someone would steal it so I wouldn't have to look at it anymore. But after a few hours at Pacific Auto Cleaning, the car has been reborn! This is by FAR the best place that has cleaned my vehicles. it is amazing the quality of work that they put into your car to make it look as if it came off the showroom floor from a dealership. they get into every single nook and cranny its unbelievable. every single part of the car is spotless. they rub out scratches that I thought were permanent. I wouldn't believe everything that you read on Yelp. Some of these reviews below are very hard to believe. Especially considering my own personal experience with Pacific Auto Cleaning. I should have trusted my gut instinct when I first came into their shop. It was a sloppy mess with old beat up cars parked everywhere. Looked somewhat like a junk yard. Tim and Tracy were very friendly and confident that could fix my vehicle. Tim said they could detail the exterior and remove some scratches from my paint, no problem. The repairs turned out absolutely horrible. There was overspray, paint burns, mismatched color, air bubble in the paint, you name. They should be ashamed of their poor workmanship. I ended up bringing my car to another shop to fix the "damage" PAC had done. What a waste of time and money. Do not let them paint, sand, or repair any part of your car. They are not qualified to perform this work. Sorry guys read more

I had a wonderful experience here. Tracy couldnt be a nicer man. My car was in need of a good detailing but more importantly it had giant scratches on the front and back bumpers. I figured it would be quite a bit to get them out. Tracy totally got thme out and detailed the car for less than what I thought it would be to just fix the scratches. Ill definately go back. The city I live in sprayed a combination of herbicides near my car leaving an extremely stubborn white residue all over it, which I could not get off. My window was also down, meaning my upholstery had been exposed to chemicals as well. Being as I am pregnant with young children I complained right away and was givin a free detail which was to be done by the men at this place. Let me tell you... I've gotten details before and NEVER have I been as satisfied as I was after coming here. GREAT attitudes... English speaking... They worked hard and it was obvious to me. My car came out looking BRAND NEW. I am extremely critical of an auto detail job, considering how much you can spend on one.... And after looking it over and over again, I couldn't find anything they missed. They also went out of their way to fix my headlight which I had taped in place. They go above and beyond what's asked. The guys here are nice and try to be helpful. Unfortunately I went in about a year ago for a detail on my TSX and was sold in getting my headlights defogged as well. They assured me they could do it and it would be $25 per headlight. The detail was good, but they did not deliver on the headlights and still charged me $50! I was pretty unhappy about that. So I guess for a detail they're good but don't be sold on additional services. My headlights still need defogging. Any recs? read more

Tracy did an amazing job on my 12-year old Audi. It came out like new. He was professional and the car was ready when he said it would be. Tracy also does minor body work (painting bumpers, buffing alloy wheels). While I have not used these services yet, the pricing he quoted was reasonable. These guys are super friendly, really fast and very reasonable. I asked for an upholstery shampoo and they cleaned every inch of the inside of the car until it shone. :) But I couldn't give five stars because they don't accept credit cards or debit cards and no one mentioned that to me when I dropped off my car. So I ended up having to drive to the bank and get cash. It is not a big deal, but I feel like a lot of people may not always be able to pay in cash all the time. read more

(I wasn't expecting that, but was very pleased to hear the news.) He told me that he would finish at a certain time - and he kept his promise - to the minute! I truly didn't recognize my car when I saw it at first; he did an amazing job. I really wasn't expecting my car to look better than when I first got it as a brand new car. There was even a stain in the back and he removed it completely!! Called yesterday after a friend of a friend got sick in my car over the weekend (I tried cleaning it myself but it still reaked of vomit). It was almost 5pm and Tracy offered to wait until I got off work to take my car over! I had to stay late so he instead was kind enough to open earlier the next day and take me before work. Initially, I was only planning on having just two seats done in the back where the damage was done, but Tracy did the entire back seat for $75! He even lifted up the seats and found puddles underneath in the compartment- apparently my car is leaking or something but I would have never known if it wasn't for him- he even cleaned that out for me!! Tracy was super quick and did an AWESOME job!! He even offered to pick up the trash in my car for me. I HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for any future cleaning. Also, bring cash but if you are short there's an atm at the 711 next door, which I don't think charged me a withdrawal fee! read more

The family business has been here since the 60s and the current owner for about 20 years. My car looked great and polished. Bring cash as they do not take any cards.
