This is the second time I've taken my car to PAC. They are AWESOME. My car is like brand new. And the guys that own the shop (father and son) are BEYOND nice. They always remember my name and are just really sweet guys. The shop can be hard to find as it's located right on the bend of the rode between a luxury auto shop and a couple bars, but it's worth looking for. I drive a black Prius with some seriously damaged bumpers and a TON of dog hair inside. My husband drives a silver G35 and both of our cars have been taken care of by PAC. The guys do EVERYTHING. They not only seriously detail the inside and shampoo everything, but they also do an amazing outside job and fixed all of my scratches - even the serious ones. I paid extra for the scratch repairs, but it's totally worth it because my car now looks brand new. No sense in going to an autobody shop when these guys can do it all. Don't be scared by the array of other cars that are sometimes sitting there. These guys have a serious following and take care of all kinds of cars - new and falling apart, haha. I was a little nervous the first time, but didn't think twice about it when I got my car back. I had been told by three different people that this was the place to go, but it had not Yelp reviews and they don't have a website, so I was unsure, but I'm pretty sure that's just because no one ever took the chance to start reviewing them. So I'm taking charge! These guys deserve the 5 stars. TIPS: Be prepared to pay for a quality detail job. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best. I paid $150 for a detail for a small car. Then I paid extra to fix all of the bumper damage. I also recommend tipping well - these guys put some serious elbow grease into their work and they are proud to be good at what they do. I apologize in advance, my story is gross but that is what makes the crew at Pacific Auto Cleaners that much more AMAZING! My 80lb. pittie Madeline has a very sensitive stomach. A guest to our house fed her people food, which we BEG people not to do because she always has a problem afterwards. Two days later her issues were still not clearing up so I took her to the vet. On the way home the poor girl had explosive, uncontrollable diarrhea, from the dashboard to the back window in my 2 month-old Jeep Wrangler. Sigh. I was not sure what to do but decided against my using chemicals on the mess because I did not want to screw it up, well anymore than it already was. I Googled "auto detail" and found Pacific Auto Cleaners and immediately called. I spoke to Tracy who was grossed out but undeterred, he said bring it in now and I did. Not once did he make me feel badly about bringing him this mess of a car. He gave me a more than fair price and asked me to leave it with him for a few hours. He said he would do his best and I assured him I was grateful! He called me about 4 hours later and told me that he had gotten everything out. He expressed concern that I would think that he was trying to upsell me but said he would like to add one more product to help remove all the smell as well as offer an overall sanitize property. I did not feel as though he was upselling, he would not know just how bad it was until he had started the work, I gladly agreed. I picked up my Jeep in better condition that it when I had picked it up from the dealership. AMAZING!!!! I apologized again for the condition but Tracy assured me that it was a good thing I didn't try to clean it myself, sometimes that just makes it harder on him. Again, AMAZING! In addition, to Madeline I have 5 other dogs in that car and you would never know it after picking it up. Pleasure to deal with, more than fair pricing, willing to do awful work without making me feel like a jerk!!!!! I have found the guy who will detail all my cars. If Yelp offered 6 stars, or 7, that's what Pacific Auto Cleaning would get. I took my car in to get it fixed up before selling it and now that it's done, I'm not so sure I want to get rid of it. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor. I'm simply astounded by the work these guys did. There were serious scratches on every side of the car, interior issues -- it went in looking like an 8 year old car that the owner didn't treat very well (ahem) and came out looking brand new. The owners simply could not have been nicer. Funny, personable and you can tell they really put a lot of pride into their work. I left the shop little more than two hours ago and I've already called and told four of my friends about this place. I'll be recommending them highly to anyone who needs a car detail or scratches taken care of or just your car looking better than it has since the day you bought it. Last note re price: We agreed on a price when they saw the amount of work the car would need. As they started to work on the car, they realized there was much more work than they anticipated. Still, they did all the work at the price they originally quoted and kept working on the car after the shop was technically closed to make sure I was satisfied with the job they did. These guys are rude and incompetent: I was quoted and paid for a full detail of my vehicle but they did not wax the roof of my car! The roof is part of said automobile and hence should be included in a FULL detail but not at Pacific Auto Cleaning! There are three explanations for this: a. Maybe everybody who works there is unable to reach the roof-line and Pacific Auto Cleaning does not supply their staff with a step stool to reach the top of the car b. There is a shortage of wax in the South Bay and Pacific Auto Cleaning is doing its part by conserving the precious resource by not waxing tops of cars c. They just stink If you want the job done right I would suggest taking your money and automobile elsewhere. read more

This was a GREAT FIND for me!!! Took my BMW in for detailing and it came back, on time, in absolutely beautiful condition. It was really dirty & even had sand inside, in between the crevices. They even repaired minor scratches on the body that I thought I would have to live with for awhile! They even gave me a ride home & then came & picked me up when it was done. I read the reviews on Yelp before deciding to bring my wife's car to Pacific Auto Cleaning for a much needed exterior and interior detailing. Having a one-year-old and living near the beach, sand, dirt and cheerios have found their way into every crevice in the car. I was skeptical at first, when others wrote about Tracy and his team bringing their cars back to a showroom shine. I was not disappointed and the car is only three years old and I never remember it looking so good. Ever crack was clean and every speck of sand gone. Tracy negotiated a fair and reasonable price without cleaning the engine too. He even worked out the surface scratches on the bumpers for no extra charge. He took the time to show us the entire car and confirm we were pleased with the results. Tracy and the crew here are amazing. I just purchased a new car (new to me) and I really wanted to take care of him so he will last as long as my old car. Tracy had me drop off my car for the day and I really didn't know what to expect. I've never left a car to be cleaned before. I've only ever sat with my car or in it as I rolled through a car wash. Tracy was very honest about the price. He told me that they don't accept cards and how much it would be. A little pricey for me but I figured if I'm leaving my little beast to get washed he's gonna do a fantastic job. I came back at the arranged time and I quite actually didn't recognize my car. There were metallic flecks in my paint?! Was that always there!? Awesome!!! Wait, the silver parts can get that shiny!? What is on this car? Amazing work. Well worth the wait and the money. Having said that, it's not often that I have money or time like that, but when I do, surely I will bring my car here for the true meaning of detail service. My interior was a complete mess. I recently bought a used car and the previous owner was a mother of twin seven year olds so they really did some damage. There were thick unknown substances spilled throughout the car that dried up and stains all over the floors and seats. When getting the car back after detailing it was GONE. Every little detail had been cleaned and my expectations were blown out of the water. He did a better job than I thought possible. Not to mention, Tracy was genuinely one of the nicest people I've met. Going in I was nervous, but in a second you could tell he was determined to do a good job. I came for an interior detailing but he even spent time getting dents out of my car for no extra charge. This place is honestly amazing and I am even going back to get exterior done. Next time bringing in not only my car but my dads as well. Will definitely be coming here for everything from now on. (It honestly amazes me that this place isn't super well know. Since 2003 when I had a brand-new 2003 Range Rover HSE and a brand-new twin turbo cabriolet Porsche brand-new, too, I have been going to the Nelson's Pacific Auto Cleaning in Hermosa/Redondo on Aviation. It is by far and away the absolute best auto care auto cleaning auto detailing place that exists. I'm convinced. And I have found this out the hard way by going to other places throughout the years and finding their work does not even compare to Pacific Auto's. Hands down - If you care about your car or if you just want a really clean beautiful non-perfumed nongreasy spectacularly clean car - including even for extra they'll steam clean engine. Also if you're getting ready to sell your car take it to these guys it'll really help. And the Nelson's are the most wonderful family you'll meet. Also they'll give you like really personalized good service and they've been in business for some crazy amount of time like 40 years or something. It's Mr. Nelson that started it way back when and his son Tracy now runs the the ship. Tip: When trying to find it , It's easy to miss so look really carefully on your right after 711 as you're going towards the beach on Aviation before PCH. And calling ahead for an appointment is a good idea because they do get busy especially on a nice days. And be ready to wait at least several hours because they do a thorough job and they're typically busy. Often, if you need it they'll drive you to wherever you need to go if it's closeby and drop you off or come pick you up sometimes even. Truly for sure the Best in the West! What I love when I get my car back from them is that it feels like a NEW CAR again it makes you like your car again! and also there's no residue that a lot of places leave and there's no perfume smells! I normally don't write reviews, but this shop definitely deserved one. I got my car repainted couple wks ago and it came back with heavy swirl mark. I was told it is how it is and I'm crazy. Since my car is due for a car wash, I decided to call and see what they can do. Tracy gave me an impression of an expert and wow he did delivered. His customer service was a 10 stars! When I got my car back, he explained my car condition, what he has done and what is needed to maintain. He also made sure that I'm happy with his work. Now most of my swirl marks are gone and my baby is looking very sharp and beautiful! Outside looks like a regular car shop, but the work is definitely like a nordstrom service. Thank u Tracy! Tracy is the car-cleaning magic-man! I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla that I bought earlier this year that has very light beige interior. Needless to say, I've been to hell and back trying to keep those seats and consoles clean! After I got into a fender bender a couple weeks ago, I got my car back from the auto shop with big dark water stains all over the outside edges of my front and back seats. Additionally, I am a full-time nanny, so I inevitably had "kid" stains randomly throughout the whole car. I am very particular when it comes to my car because I work hard to maintain it's "new-ness" and have had a few bad experiences, so naturally I was skeptical about taking it anywhere. But in the end, I was so happy I did! Not only did Tracy remove ALL of the dark water spots, but he also got rid of every single dirt spot, grease stain, you name it! I even had a few pen marks. I honestly couldn't believe it. To me, it was like magic. And my upholstery wasn't fraying or coming up. No foam warping underneath the material. No visual sign that it had even been "worked" on. Additionally, he vacuumed the whole car, cleaned the dash, my steering wheel, pretty much everything. And seriously such a great price! Well...what started as a good relationship quickly soured. I was so impressed by the work they did when my co-worker bought a 2008 Acura TL with beige/cream leather interior that belonged to dog owners that had a filthy back seat and they detailed it to practically brand new. Every fiber in the stitching, very detailed. I began taking it there for a semi-monthly wash/wax. Their prices have always been a little inflated due to the locale, but good work is not cheap and they did good work. Almost 1-1/2 yrs, all good. The last couple times, the only times I was not present due to scheduling, I had family take the vehicle. They did not do a good job. After pointing out that they forgot to vacuum the interior the last time I personally brought the vehicle, they completely forgot the simple interior vacuuming/wipe down again after I was told it would be included. Fine. The last time, they left one side streaky/undone with excess wax in the nooks and crannies. There was also hard water spots on the hood that were not there prior. When I called to express my disappointment, Mr. Tracy became very rude and unprofessional. He immediately became defensive and was cutting me off when I attempted to answer his question as to what the issues were as if he was in some quick rush to end the conversation. He then claimed the hard water spots were already there and that he was going to call me to tell me, but didn't. When I explained to him that the last time the vehicle was wiped down by me, there were no hard water spots, he then pivoted to water sprinklers being the cause. There are no water sprinklers anywhere near where I park my car at home/work. I was packing up from a camping trip when a dust storm hit and covered the inside and outside of my car in dust. Somehow he managed to remove every last grain of sand from the interior. I own a Acura Tsx and i tried color sanding my new paint job on my trunk lid thinking i can handle it. I ended up hazing up the whole thing and tried to polish out by hand. Long story short I messed up my trunk lid. So i give Tim and Tracy a call at Pacfic Auto Cleaning and they were informative and polished out all my scrathes i made on my trunk lid. they even got some scratches out of my front lip. The car was like new, the leather and carpets that had been full of stains were perfectly clean. There was also a big dent that Tracy did an amazing paint job on and that has disappeared. I honestly feel ripped off. The outside of the car looked pretty good, however, the inside of the car left a lot to be desired. When I brought my car back (5 min after leaving), Tracey told me that some of the stuff I was seeing wasn't real. I really didn't have time to argue with him, but felt a need to show him I wasn't crazy. So in one case, I had to take some metal into a crevice to pull out visible gunk to show him he didn't clean that crevice well. He charged $225 for the detail. That's a bit more than others, but I used him because he was available the day I called and I needed the detail done the same day. Now I know why he was available. He just doesn't have an eye for detail (which means he's in the wrong line of business). I'd give another star if the work was better, the price was lower, or he was open to the fact that his work was not perfect and wanted to make it right, but I ended up with none of the above. When I went back, he accused me of "playing" him because he didn't see the same things I saw with my vehicle. I told him "$225 is a lot of money and I need to get my money's worth". Needless to say, I didn't get my money's worth. Oh, and to add insult to injury, he had my car 5 hours! He probably did the work in less than and hour based on the way it looked. He thanked me for coming right back, but I don't understand why...if the work was done right, I wouldn't have needed to come back...and why thank me for coming back when you don't want to address any of the items you overlooked and instead want to make it like I'm just being picky. I must take some responsibility in this, though...he asked me when I needed my car back and I said "no later than 4:00", and he said "okay, come at 4:00". It realize now that picking up at 4:00 didn't give me anytime to have any follow up completed on the car for the things that weren't right. Also, when I dropped my car off, he mentioned that cash was a better form of payment for him. I went out of the way to stop at an ATM to get cash for him. I told him I would bring him cash, hoping that would be an incentive to do a good job on my car. I'm sorry I did. Not sure why there are such high reviews for this place. My car is 18 years old and Traci and his crew made the car look great inside and out. I am not sure anyone could have made it look better given it's age. These guys did an amazing job removing 5 years worth of dog hair from my backseat ....(yeah gross I know). One star off because it took a little bit longer than promised and also there were some minor quality issues... I expected more for the quoted price + tip. Took my BMW X3 SUV in for detailing. Tim and his crew are nice and did a great job with the detailing of the car. However, they also convinced me to get my bumpers sprayed because the black was starting to fade. I agreed to have them do it, but they oversprayed the bumper and left a bunch of overspray on my car paint. Is it not common sense to put tape around the edges of the car before you spray the trim??? Similar to when you paint a wall in a house, you place tape around the parts you don't want to paint. I had paid them $360 for everything including tip. Anyway, Tim told me to come back in a few weeks and they would take the black paint off the edges of my grey paint and give me a wash and wax (didn't say anything about an extra charge for this). I took my car in, but when i picked it up, they had washed it and waxed it, but the black paint was still in places it's not supposed to be. Tim said it was barely noticeable, but anyone could definitely see someone did a sloppy job there. He wanted to charge me $40 for the wash and wax, but I gave him a $5 tip only and called it a day (as not only did he not mention an extra charge, or do what I brought the car back in for, now I'm left with a problem I have to fix myself. I ended up getting some Goof Off with a towel and Q-tips to take care of the black over-spray. There is still some black paint underneath the edges where my q-tip couldn't get it all off, but at least only I know it's there. In short, they are good for car detailing, but leave anything more complicated to someone who knows exactly what they are doing. read more
