Three vegan cookies, chocolate chip variety, for $.75 each
    Athonia C.

three vegan cookies for just $2.25 is a pretty remarkable deal if you ask me. This is a walk up cookie shop that has supposedly imperfections although I've never seen what they're talking about and they were rejected from the downtown store. Whatever the case it's quick and inexpensive and it's just generally fun to walk up and enjoy the ambience of delicious cookie dough smells and nearly immediate service as there's usually not a long line. I would like to see some cookies that are made without sugar perhaps with Stevia or monk fruit sweetener in the future as I'm always afraid of the calorie and glucose metrics even though I'm relatively healthy I want to keep it that way But for an occasional indulgence, this is really not a problem

My favorite place in the world for cookies and such a bargain too! This spot is a true Santa Cruz icon. The cookies are consistently fresh, delicious, and perfect for any time of day. They also pair perfectly with a scoop of Marianne's ice cream just down the street, which makes for the ultimate local treat. My personal favorite is the Doctor Midnight cookie rich, minty chocolate, and absolutely addictive. If you're in Santa Cruz, this place is a must-visit. It's simple, affordable, and packed with flavor.

It's all about great cookies, so what's not to love? Yum! They sell odd sizes here for less than at their store. The service was excellent too. The factory location is right off River near the tracks on which trains once delivered stuff to and from the many warehouses in the complex. Next time I'm passing through Santa Cruz, I'd like to carve out more time to visit some of the other interesting businesses in the warehouses as well.

The "rejects" from the factory discounted at 75 cents for large and 50 cents for small. Didn't notice much difference other than slight varied size and shape. Lots of flavors available and they bag your cookies as you name what you want. Some of the ones we got were lemon drop, cherry bomb, dr midnight, mint condition, snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, and more. My go to is the mint, but they're all sweet and tasty. There's lots of parking around and we came just in time 10 min before closing as they closed the garage door after us!

Lots of yummy "rejects" direct from the factory... Did they have the perfect consistency and flavor? Nope. Did I really notice? Nope. Was the process quick and easy? Yup. Plenty of parking, no wait at the roll up door/window, and the worker bagged our cookies as we called out the flavors we wanted. Lots of flavors to choose from at discount prices... we got a handful, like peanut butter chocolate, lemon drop, and oatmeal raisin. Not quite sure what makes these cookies "rejects", but I don't mind taking advantage.

We hit the mother load!!! This is where the magic happens!!! Pacific Cookie company has always made the best cookies around and I finally found their warehouse where they are made. Here you can buy day old cookies for a discount, which still taste amazing!!!!

[IN A NUTSHELL] great cookies, cheap cookies, great value per cookie, cookie flavors [VERDICT] - APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] If you know Sant Cruz, there is one of the best cookie places here. They have a place downtown for their more expensive cookie, BUT if you want the same cookie you can get it for so much cheaper here! Compared to their company downtown which is more than a $1 these are 50 cent cookies. Talking to the cashier, she said these are the cookies that don't make it the other companies and so they're cheaper, they're not the "rejects". I would recommend coming here after you try the ones downtown. They even have mini ones for 25 cents. My favorite one is the lemon drop from this place because it has the hint of lemon and it tastes like a sugar cookie with lemon. When you bring it back home, I would suggest microwaving it for 15 seconds before you eat it. They also have limited hours so check my pictures for the time. Recommended Cookies: -Lemon Drop -Mint Condition -Snickerdoodle -Peanut Butter [TIME STAMP] MAY 20, 2021

Batch of cookies for a quarter each

Shh... this has to be one of Santa Cruz's best kept secrets. Or you end up stumbling upon here looking for cookies without realizing it's the factory itself and not their store. To the reviewers that are giving critical reviews of their cookies, y'all remember that you're buying the "defects" that they aren't selling at their actual main shop downtown right? The main reason you come here is that you get to bask in the ambiance of cookie production while purchasing all the reject cookies that aren't making it to the store. Locals come here on weekdays in order to purchase ones that are a bit too small, perhaps a tiny but under-baked, or whatever the reason that caused it to go into the "no" pile. However, these cookies are still bae and delicious. For 25c a cookie (at least on the lowest reject pile), I could barely taste the difference between this and what I can buy at their store. Mind you at the main store, each of these cookies would normally cost $2. For the price of one, I'm getting eight different cookies! You really can't beat that price. They also offer slightly "better" but still not perfect cookies for up to $1.75 each, slightly cheaper than the "real" deal. My heart is here for the Pacific Cookie goodness and I'm so happy we stumbled in here for a bag of cookies to take home and enjoy for such a great deal. Cash only and it's entirely the honors system. Slip in the money into their black box and leave with a bag of happiness. You won't regret it.

Every cookie here is great. Maybe it's because I love butter. My fave would probably be mint choco chip. Other notables would be snickerdoodle, choco chip, and for a range taste the lemon one can also be a good pick up as well!

We get a lot of sweets at work. Good for my sweet tooth, but horrible on my waist line. A few weeks ago, a talent brought us a box of assorted cookies. She arrived with them on Wednesday, November 14th around 3:15pm. We got a variety of cookies, but I tried the Snickerdoodle: Cinnamon cookie made with creamery butter and cinnamon. It had nice flavor. A good amount of cinnamon and sugar. But I like my cookies soft and chewy. These were a bit hard and crumbly. No doubt partly from the travel time, but I ended up microwaving the cookie with a damp paper towel to soften them up. Made them more my style. Good flavors, but I wish the cookies were softer. A good option for people who like harder textured cookies.

Amazing place to get cookies at an affordable price in Santa Cruz. Get the chocolate chip and enjoy a walk on the beach or through downtown!

This was my second visit and I decided I really needed to rereview it!…read more My first visit was during Covid. They were open but I think items were limited at the time and we were still masked up. My experience then was less than stellar but honestly, I think we were all still on edge. For this visit, we stopped in before heading home to pick up some pastries for a light breakfast. It was around 10 am and it was bustling. Clearly it is a popular spot but the line moved fast. We ordered ham and cheese croissants, an almond croissant, cinnamon roll with raisins (you can get them without as well) and an apricot pocket. Everything we tried was delicious and I mean DELICIOUS. The pastries were buttery and flaky and I am craving another almond croissant as I write this, lol. We didn't want to order any hot food since we were about to hit the road but they also sell breakfast sandwiches and burritos and it smelled heavenly in there. It is a little cramped with a few small tables but there is also a patio with a kind of wild garden which was very charming. I can 100% see this being a must stop for us whenever we visit Santa Cruz!

Got the chiffon marionberry and lemon curd at almost a whopping $5 a cupcake. The whole cakes in the display case looked nice, but the cupcakes sure did not. I was hesitant when I saw their raggedy appearance (I photographed the best side!), but was hopeful the taste would blow it out of the water so much I wouldn't care what it looked like. So, both cupcakes were light, but dry...the marionberry moreso than the lemon curd. The marionberry also had buttercream, which we both don't care for, which of course, is a personal preference. Glad we tried before we committed to a whole wedding cake.
