We had an amazing and thrilling adventure with UFO Parasail! We booked the 1:00 PM timeslot but…read morewere notified that it would be delayed due to the weather. That was perfectly fine with us since it gave us more time to explore the shops at Whalers Village. When we arrived at the updated time, several people were waiting because of the strong winds, and we were informed that multiple flights had been canceled. We completely understood the decision to wait for safer conditions, so we didn't mind at all. The boat before ours even had to return to shore, so we honestly thought our flight might get canceled too. Thankfully, we got the green light! The ride on the tender boat was an adventure in itself. You have to time boarding between the shore break, with the help of the staff on-shore ofc which was surprisingly exciting and so much fun. We then transferred to the main vessel, which headed toward south to Lahaina where the wind conditions were better. Even that boat ride was fast, scenic, and such a blast! The highlight, of course, was the parasailing. We were lucky enough to fly under the awesome "UFO" chute, which looked incredible in the video I was filming. Soaring high above the beautiful West Maui coast was an unforgettable experience. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe while ensuring everyone had a great time. For everything we experienced, this was an incredible value and absolutely worth it. After our flight, we cruised back to Kaʻanapali and wrapped up an unforgettable adventure. Mahalo, UFO Parasail, for making our staycation so memorable. We can't wait to do it again!

She made them feel excited and confident to put on their snorkel gear and get into the ocean. She set them up with a mask, fins, and a floater and shared with us the best place to see fish, and they did! I had already checked out The Snorkel Store website which is very informative and amazing. Signing up for the newsletter got us a discount, yay! Besides the snorkel gear we rented three Tommy Bahama beach chairs which are great because you can wear them down to the beach as a backpack. One less thing to carry. Before we left Lisa said, "Let me get you a bag of sand toys for you to enjoy after you're done snorkeling." This was so fantastic because grandchild #3 was in the car with Papa and the sand toys were an absolute hit. We will definitely make sure they're washed and returned with the all the other equipment tomorrow before 5:00pm. If you need any type of beach gear, this is the place to go! We will definitely be back again when we're on the island.

The entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Captain Brandon was amazing and made the trip extra special by letting the kids each take turns steering the boat -- such a fun memory they will never forget! Kenzie, Megan, and Joe were all so attentive, friendly, and constantly checking in to make sure everyone had everything they needed. The customer service truly stood out and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Things seemed a little sketchy when trying to figure out how to get to the meetup location due to streets being blocked off. We eventually found the parking area and met the first mate, Mika. A short walk to the harbor and we were on the boat. The Captain, don't remember her name, was very informative and ensured safety protocols were understood by everyone. The boat was clean and accommodating for our group of 10. The sail was beautiful and mesmerizing. The Captain took time to give instructions on how to sail the boat to the children onboard. She also aloud them to have turns at the helm. Very exciting work for the kids. There were good options for beverages and appetizers. The musical playlist was pretty good and set the tone for the island vibes. We felt that we were in more than capable hands. Next time we come back, we'll look for this tour line and crew.

We arrived at the center early and there is pay via app parking in the public lot and checked in for the morning brief before we boarded our boat, which was the Kai Ko, a sailing catamaran. Afterwards, the whole group walked down to the docks for boarding. The Kai Ko is a lot bigger than I expected, which was able to accommodate up to 130 people with seating for all on 3 decks. We sat at a bench with a table up forward, but you can sit on the covered upper deck under the sail boom behind the pilot house or on the lower deck with the snack bar. We had the best view forward, but it is exposed to the sun & sea spray. A couple of families sat in the cargo netting right above the waves. The Kai Ko does triple duty for whale watch excursions, as well as dinner cruises and snorkeling, so is equipped for all three trips. For whale watching, they only use the engine and do not raise the sails, which they do use for more relaxed dinner cruises. We motored out of the marina and out into Maalaea Bay and encountered a mother and baby Humpback whales almost immediately. Later we encountered another mother and calf that was also accompanied by an escort whale, which is rare. The mother showed her tail flukes on her last deep dive, which is used to identify the whale by their unique tail markings. You learn a lot of whale facts from the onboard guides. Later, one of the crew lowered a hydrophone in the water to record & broadcast Humpback whale songs over the ship's speakers, which was pretty cool. There were other whales that did full body breaches out of the water, but we were really far away. The whole whale watch cruise is 2 hours and returns you back to the docks exactly on the hour. It was an exciting excursion and we got back in time for lunch.
