I enjoyed coming here. My sister insisted to get her a delicious poke bowl from here along with her husband to celebrate her newborn baby. I also went here to pick up food here with a family member. We each chose certain bowls with different flavors and proteins. My take is get the chicken bowl and beef bulgogi bowl listed in the menu. The customization ones are okay, but most of the proteins are raw fish. One thing I don't like about the raw fish is the chance for a parasitic infection like I mentioned in all my poke reviews. I've been to 8 oz. Poke and pokitomik. There is also Temakitto and poke ya in northridge of which all prepare and serve the same thing. Compared to the others, there was a lot of raw fish choices like salmon, yellowtail, tuna, spicy tuna etc. and a few other raw fish choices mainly for the protein choices. I backed out and got the customization protein of choice as tofu and avocado. Although avocado doesn't really classify as a protein, it was a better choice than the raw fish in my personal opinion. Sauces include soy sauce, ponzu, teriyaki, yuzu, etc. with plenty of other options; however, I didn't want any and instead got it plain, my side was salad but they also serve white rice and sushi rice as the alternatives. No brown rice. The choices were all decent not the greatest but okay. The toppings were decent: I got edamame, masago, seaweed salad and nori. They had other toppings like imitation crab, carrots, fried onion and sesame seeds etc. but they weren't something I would personally go for. Service was good, attractive girl helped me and family member out efficiently. She was nice and was rather young but also excellent at servicing us what we needed. Ambiance was clean, relatively quiet and there were only two other customers that came in on a Friday evening. This place was here for a while but I heard ownership changed. Overall, not bad. Compared to the others mentioned: pokitomik is worse due to having hot Cheeto burritos as their staple. Temakitto slightly better but higher prices. The bowls here ranged from $13 to about $18 depending on the size. Temakitto is over $20 which is a bit pricey or otherwise overpriced in comparison but better quality. The best is still 8 oz. Poke in Los Angeles, but that's because they have authentic fish and a massive portion of it. Sides and proteins are better and more vast. Price is about the same. Consider that, poke ya in northridge is better than Temakitto, so better than here but it's located in a crappy area. This place has a nice peaceful surrounding environment and a quieter interior. Overall I say 8/10 food, 9/10 service and 9/10 ambiance and surrounding. Here are my comparisons below: 1. 8 oz. poke - 2. Poke-ya - 3. Temakitto - 4. pacific kitchen - 5. pokitomik. Now although it is near the bottom of the poke places I've tried, it still is not a bad place. Better than a lot of take out, Sam's Club and other smaller chains unlisted. But of the 5 quality ones, it is near the low end. Overall, not bad, the highlight is definitely that chicken bowl and I'll be ordering that next time I stop by. The beef bulgogi one is also good although the beef is definitely chewy in some parts, not tender and succulent. The tofu bowl was very tasty and healthy. My sister and husband got a spicy salmon bowl drenched with ponzu and yuzu, wasn't a fan of it when I tried a bit, but to each their own.

Being an avid poke eater and a very loyal customer to California Poke, Pacific Kitchen has now earned a new customer! Affordable, fresh, and flavorful! I discovered this spot today and I loved it so much, I made the drive back to Stevenson ranch from Canyon country to grab a bowl for my sister same day. 10/10

I used to come here all the time, but eventually stopped because the portion sizes just didn't match the price. It felt like I was paying a premium for pretty skimpy servings, which was disappointing because I always loved the flavors. Fast forward almost a year later... I was really craving poke and decided to check Yelp to see if anything had changed. I noticed there was new ownership per the most recent reviews and so many recent customers were raving about the place again, so I figured I'd give it another shot. I'm so glad I did. The difference is night and day. The portion sizes are finally what they should be for the price, and you actually feel like you're getting your money's worth. On top of that, the flavors are still just as fresh and delicious as I remembered. I can confidently say I'm genuinely excited to have my favorite local poke spot back again. I'll definitely be coming back regularly!!!

So delicious! They always have the freshest fish. Service is amazing as well. Staff is very kind and help Definitely the new go-to for lunch. Highly recommend this place.

Oh my gosh I think this is the best poke place in all of the SCV. I ordered a bowl with sushi rice and triple salmon, and it's some of the best quality fish I've tasted. The rice is seasoned well and is great quality; you get 5 toppings and 5 garnishes, which packs a full bowl. 10/10 I will be returning!

    Poke | 3 Proteins

Ordered the 3 protein poke bowl and it did not disappoint. Portions are good, spicy mayo on top is good enough. We ordered the spicy tuna and double spicy shrimp and Krab with mango, cucumber over sushi rice and was satisfied after finishing my meal. Highly recommended for a quick healthy meal. We'll order again. By the way, we did not dine in and just picked up our order but the place is neat.

Large poke bowl (4 proteins). Mine has tuna, 2x salmon and crab salad.

Pacific Kitchen has been under new management since January 2026, but I'm happy to say their poke is just as delicious as ever. I love how generous they are with the protein portions. The salmon and tuna taste incredibly fresh, with no fishy smell or aftertaste. Their seaweed salad is always a favorite of mine, and the onion crunch is hands down my all-time favorite topping. It's also a great bonus that a free cup of miso soup comes with a large poke bowl. The young man who helped me today was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

First impression is that this is mostly a take out restaurant as they only 4 two person tables inside and 2 more outside. Their menu is definitely more limited than Q&Q or L&L, but they have the basics that would accommodate most people. Everyone working there was very nice and accommodating. My wife and I both opted to get the short ribs. She got the mini plate and I got the regular size. Their portions here are MASSIVE! The mini plate is about comparable to the normal plates at the other places, and the regular plate here is a lunch and dinner. Everything was quickly prepared and tasty. We also had an order of Musubi which was very reasonably priced. The amount of rice was a bit overwhelming and the slice of spam very slim, but it was tasty and if the proportions were better it would easily beat the other places as the tastes are there. With the economy being what it is right now, this place is definitely more price competitive and again, they feed you for your money. Personally I think QandQ tastes a little better but based on portion size and value I will most certainly be back, for take out, when the craving hits.

The teriyaki sauce was balanced and not overly sweet, and the Yaki Style preparation added a nice mix of vegetables and texture throughout the bowl. And a quick search from Yelp reminded me that we were here last time! I guess they are still attractive. This place felt like it was run by the Vietnamese, as all hosts and servers spoke Vietnamese to each other. The menu is as extensive as before, 2 full pages of rolls! One page is the standard ones, like the Lion King, sumo rolls, 49er's, and the other page is their special rolls. Unlike last time that we tried a bunch of their special appetizers (and they are still the same on the menu), we tried the rolls and bento this time and I think I like that more. We ordered the Teena roll, the Gilbert roll, an order of salmon roe sushi, a side order of chicken fried rice, and a tempura bento. The rolls tasted good, soft and slightly chewy in the mouth with a blend of all the sashimi and crab meat and sticky Japanese rice. The tempura bento was sumptuous! It came with a bowl of miso soup, a bowl of white rice, 4 or 5 pieces of gyoza, a salad, cucumber, a pre-cut orange, and 8 or 9 pieces of tempura of a variety. My least favorite is probably the salmon roe sushi as I wish the roes look bigger and more orange-y. Service was great. Although we were told they were busy and we might have to wait a bit, food started to come in less than 5 minutes! We didn't get a water refill but the glass of water was big. Dirty dishes were taken away timely too. I've been abused by the Bay Area exorbitant prices for a long time, it was such a pleasure to see rolls priced at $15. So overall, it was a good dinner in town.
